New Images Of Transformers DOTM Voyager Class Shockwave

STILL one of the most impressive Movieverse, Cybertronian mode figures we've seen. Leagues better than any of the Megatrons, cooler body proportions than the two 2007 preview figures, and a better transform than The Fallen's Robot Yoga.

Definitely on my list.

I'm not crazy about it, I wish the alt mode was a cleaner looking cannon or something, but I'll have to buy it anyway just because it's Shockwave.

The tri-cannon does it, he will be mine.

Will be one of the few DOTM toys I pick up.

All in all this figure looks kool but there is just something about the head/face/eye that's just not clicking with me.....But of course its worth the pickup, I'm mean hey its mutha f****ing Shockwave!

Will make a great classics Shovkwave !!! And I want Taliban Megatron too.

Not bad, very Shockwavy. I don't think my brain can stretch far enough to put him anywhere near my classics (at least not without a delightful cross-dimensional fanfic )

I was worried he'd only draw me strickly by how hard I've been jonesing for anything remotely Shockwave. I like him, but those hands better swivel. It's inexcusable at Voyager scale.

I already own the Rocklord. He's pretty neat, but I'd like him less if he transformed into something that resembled a rock with tank tracks.

I'm getting more of a vibe of this guy from this Shockwave:

Head, arm cannon, robot mode and colors. Sold. Tank mode is moot.

All we need now is the possible Leader Class with the Arm cannon on the opposite arm.

Though our luck the Leader Class Bumblebe and Ironhide took the spot so that we can only get an leader Optimus and maybe if enough room a Megatron Leader.

While Starsream, Blackout, The Fallen, etc figures tat should be leader classes will phase out of existence.

Starscream and Optimus already got their Leader figures. You can't get any better Leader molds for those two than the ones we got in ROTF and the 2010 toylines.

Yea but seeing how Optimus is the most frustrating of leader classes and how Hasbro does leader classes it would not surprise me if they recolor Leader Starscream and dumb down or retool Leader Optimus.

The Leader Starscream has already been redecoed into Masterpiece Movie Starscream.

And why would they "dumb down" Leader Optimus? That's kinda insulting to the mold and to the minds/skills of those who purchased it.

I'm now officially sold on this figure now. Can't wait to get my hands on one.

All pretty good (if not better) Megatron molds.

I still say this was suppose to be Galvatron or Megatrons new form but they dcided to use it as shockwave and give Megatron a crappy form. The overall look and shape, the giant cannon on the right arm, even the cannons little gimmick is taken from a previous Megatron figure, finally had a chance at getting a decent movie Megatron and they decide to make him Shockwave. I might get one just to kitbash it into Megatron or Galvatron, wont be hard just need a head and some paint and ill throw this head on my KO G1 Shockwave.

Definitely one of the best DOTM figures so far.

Shockwave looks pretty awesome to me! I wish we would have gotten some pics of the bio and abilities though... And I really hope he and Megatron both get a leader.

fair enough.. all better moulds than any movieverse megs. But i always felt megs never got the same quality or thought that the prime toy received. For example My main collection is g1/classics. I don't have a classics megs yet cos well i don't like him. My fave mould is the wfc one but my quibble with that is that he's a deluxe size..

just feel shockwave has had better treatment over the years.

I'll hold off on this, it just doesn't feel like Shockwave to me...very broad and bulky rather than sleek and stunning. It is the best looking of the DotM lot thus far however.

Pretty much the same reason DOTM is already seeming like the dumbed down the difficulties of ROTF. In size and some designs (Voyager Prime would like a word about designs)

As awesome as he looks, I won't get him or Megatron if there is even news of a Leader class figure for both. Guess I'm just nit-picky about how the leader villains should get a leader class figure.

Clearly I'm in the minority on this one; but I'm just not digging this Shockwave.

He's not all bad. I really like the callback to G1 Shockwave's wire-hiding hose. But the bot looks too stocky; Shockwave has typically been rather tall and lean looking. And ribcage chest does nothing to recall G1 Shockwave's signature light-bar chest.

And the alt mode? Wow... It's just a complete mess.

If you compare this character design to WFC Shockwave, DOTM Shockwave looks really weak. Now, I get that's not a completely fair comparison because we don't have an actual WFC Shockwave toy to compare to. Still, WFC Shockwave gets more of the key character cues right.

12 months from now Hasbro might release DOTM Shockwave in Leader Class I want one now to stand up with Sentinel Prime

looks like a nice figure but I'm sick and tired of Hasbro and the Bay movie designers getting lazy and just making any big villain a tank. Lets get more creative.

What Stunticons? Are you referring to the Wreckers (Roadbuster, Topspin, and Leadfoot)? Those guys are Autobots.
