Meh, nothing crazy going on in your lists. A lot of us, including me, are guilty of wanting to make a quick buck. We'd want to help, also. As I eluded to before, the fact that there's those lurking around claiming hardship, and then turn around and resell makes me think twice before helping others out in situations like this. Very sad, indeed.

Hey, it's only human nature. People definitely want to get the most for an item. I don't even mind an auction style listing where a seller is trying to recoup travel costs and such. It's when I see a guy selling 3+ of most exclusives.

You know the 5 botcon figures Spark Breakdown Streetstar Clench and SkyByte? Where exactly do you get them? at the door? Do you have to pay an additional cost? Do you have to reserve the box set? And is the same for Slice as well?

Im pretty confused about all the figures and i just want to get a little more information.

The first 5 were sold in a convention set starting a few weeks ago. You'd reserve them at http://www.botcon.com as an attendee or non-antendee. Click the information link on the left for details.

They have since sold out, though.

Slice is an attendee exclusive. It is ONLY given to the 'Primus' package holders at Botcon as a 'thank you' for making the trip when they pick up their convention set. It's 'free.'

Nowhere, now. Everything is sold out. The only way you're getting figures from Botcon now is through eBay or someone selling on the forums.

Y'know I really wasn't all that interested in any of the exclusives this year until I saw G2 Sideswipe for the customization class.

Love to have him as the mold looks amazing in those colors, but there's no telling what he would go for if anyone is even willing to sell him. I can only imagine the sky-high auction price he'll fetch on eBay once someone does.

But the beauty of the customization class is also your hopeful back-up plan.

It is unlikely due to the cost involved and personal touches that each member of the class put into "their" custom will see many get sold off, but as it is a redeco of the regular Sideswipe, you can make your own from a retail version, paint and a bit of elbow grease.

Not surprisingly, it is the same seller. Same guy that originally wanted $350 for P/CP a week or so ago.

Wow that is one greeding son of a gun $200 for a free figure. Well hopefully no one gives into some of these prices but that's like telling some of these people out there don't buy the crazydevy parts, everyone buys them up and the products seem to keep growing in price.

$305 for the box set attending or non-attending. You could also add a bag set for $210 extra IF you bought the box set first. Optional purchase.

1800 sets total were made. 1400 boxed and 400 bagged sets. All sold out a few weeks ago.

Being my first botcon I really can't say if the system is flawed or not. I know I saw the boxset on sale on ebay a few weeks ago but the guy said he was going "to have extras", so I'm sure that some people have connections. I mean look at guys like Peaugh, that guy gets brand new figures months before they even hit retail..

The lines went really smooth today.. The boxset looks great and the add-ons are killer.My advice for anyone coming in this weekend, hit the cash lines..Tigertracks and I waited about 30-45 minutes before we got our add-ons so IMO it wasn't too bad. The snafu with the state sales tax was a slight inconvienence but nothing too big.

For those looking for extras I will try and ( note TRY) and grab what I can tommorrow morning..I'm not staying at the hotel so I can't make any guarantees( I got about a hour drive )

Also, I haven't seen any photos of Rapido or Scorch... what do they look like?

Rapido would look AMAZING if his head didn't look to stand so high off of the torso parts...

While not the price I had hoped for, I found a Scorch w/Ravage for an offer with a low shipping price.

With Sky-byte done earlier, I'm done. Spent more than I wanted to, but less than others seem to be willing to shell out.

Were the 2-packs already sold out through the transformers club store? Or are those going online today?

Or if someone out these is nice enough to sell me their extras and not scalp me on prices, I would be willing to buy them.

2 packs are only sold at the convention, at first. If there are any unsold after the convention, they are then put up in the TFCC store.
