30th Anniversary- Thrilling 30 List

I've been reading all of the posts/threads concerning the upcoming 30th Anniversary - Thrilling 30 line and I'm trying to keep everything straight. How many of the 30 have actually been revealed as of now?

So far I have the following:

01 - SDCC Metroplex
02 - SDCC Soundwave Lab Set
03 - (non-transforming Guardians?)
04 - Platinum Grimlock vs. Bruticus
05 - Platinum Weaponizer Ultra Magnus
06 - ?
07 - Cybertron Con Ultimate BH Optimus
08-30 ?????

I realize that at least a few more will be revealed at SDCC on Thursday, but wanted to get a list started so we can all keep track. I'm already getting a little confused because I thought some of the BotCon reveals would be a part of this line too (like Voyager Rhinox, but I'm not sure). :-?

If anybody knows of any others or if these are wrong, please let me know. I know that 1, 2 and 7 are for sure since Seibertron's extensive galleries have already shown the bottom of the boxes.

I hope some of you are as curious as I am about the Thrilling 30! I'd love to know what we have to look forward to over the next year or so!

Due to the Asian Release of Platinum Ultra Magnus, we know it is Number 3.

4 and 5 are Grimlock v. Bruticus and the G1 Predaking reissue. I'm not sure of the order but if I go by BBTS preorder expected dates, Grim v. Bruty is 4 and Preds is 5.

6 is Platinum Edition Masterpiece Wheelie with life-size slingshot (not really)

Waspinator and Rhinox are part of the Thrilling 30 line, as is FoC Thundercracker I believe.

Thanks for the info. guys. I totally forgot about the Predaking Reissue. I don't think the Rhinox and Waspinator updates are part of the actual 30 figures. Blitzwing, Springer and Sandstorm all have the "Thrilling 30" emblem on the packaging, but they don't have a x# of 30 on them like the special releases have on the bottom of their boxes.

I know someone else in the thread about the Cybertron Con Ultimate BH Optimus was saying that it seems like the 30 will all be exclusives of some kind. I'm inclined to think he was right as all of the ones announced so far have been "special" releases in some way. We'll see. Hopefully there will be a lot of reveals on Thursday at SDCC!

I'm crossing my fingers that 4 of the 30 are the rest of the Dinobots! But I'm not holding my breath either.

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it until it happens. Swoop or GTFO!

Appendum: #3 is Platinum Ultra Magnus. And stop stealing my ideas. I made an Excel sheet for those releases only yesterday

Odd that the "exclusives" are numbered, and the regular 30th mass retail stuff are not. (Blitzwing, Trailbreaker, Skids, ETC).

Great minds think alike! :D

What do you think the chances are they will reveal all 30 at SDCC?

Reveal all 30 right at the beginning of the year? You know Hasbro is an expert at playing coy, right? ;) I'd give them up number 15 before the year is done.

I believe the distinction is between them being released during the 30th anniversary year, and being part of the Thrilling 30 'line'.

So far, the "Thrilling" 30 has been anything but. I hope all 30 aren't going to be simple repaints of recent figures.

Platinum Edition Predaking is the oldest release of the bunch, though not by much: it seems to be based on the 2010 reissue.

So much confusion about this line!

The numbered releases are -not- the entirety of the "Thrilling 30" line, they are a specialized part of it. Hasbro stated that there will be 30 "Special Items" on top of the retail releases that will be comprised of mainly convention/online exclusives. They are meant to be limited releases that weren't possible to get out at mainline retail.

For instance, the IDW deluxes are part of the "Thrilling 30" product line, but they are not 6 out of 30 products being released or anything like that.

Well, it IS confusing, thanks to Hasbro's odd naming and packaging conventions. (They should have called it "Thrilling 30th" or "30 Years of Thrills" if it's not just 30 figures.) But I think the point of this thread is to try to list the 30 that are getting numbered 1-30, whatever they're called.

Is he one of the 30 numbered figures?

He should be #4 or #5, along with Grimlock vs. Bruticus.

I know. That's some very wishful thinking on my part! 8-}

Hopefully we'll get a decent amount of reveals of the 30 though!

Is appendum an actual word? I think you mean either addendum or appendix.

Grabbing all 30 of the special edition releases is going to destroy my wallet.

We already have the first 11, but two items are repeated: Metroplex and Shockwave's lab. Only the smaller figures and the conventions are different.

As of now, the list is:

01 - Metroplex SDCC Edition (purple and red mini figures)
02 - Shockwave's Labratory SDCC Edition (clear Predaking)
03 - Platinum Edition Ultra Magnus
04 - Platinum Edition Grimlock vs. Deception Bruticus
05 - Metroplex ACGCon Edition (gold mini figures)
06 - Shockwave's Labratory Asia Edition (gold Predaking)
07 - Beast Hunter Optimus Prime CybCon Edition
08 - MP-1 Masterpiece Acid Storm
09 - MP-2 Masterpiece Soundwave
10 - Platinum Edition Predaking
11 - Construct-Bots Predaking
