A Fleetyards Analysis of the Nemesis
Posted: Wed Aug 23, 2017 8:26 pmOkay, so I don't start many new threads. But, this is something I though you all would like to see. First a bit of background on the YouTube channel form where this video comes.
I am a Sci-Fi geek. It is probably one of the reasons I love Transformers so much. My first exposure to Sci-Fi might have been Thunderbirds (yes I am that old) but it probably flourished with seeing Star Wars the first time. However, before Star Wars, and with more impact than Thunderbirds, there was Star Trek.
I loved the ships, with the Movie version of the Enterprise (NCC-1701 and NCC-1701 A) beiung my favorite era. I have technical manuals and several other blueprint books of both canon and non-canon ships. And a couple of years ago, I found a YouTube group that geeks out about Starships almost as much as I do. The channel is called Trekyards.
But, Ag, what does this have to do with Transformers? I am glad you asked! (Well, that's probably not the question you asked, but let me get to the point...) In addition to Trekyards, they also have a series called "Fleetyards" where they take ships from other universes and apply the same analysis, ships like Star Destroyers, the Battlestar Galactica, and if you read the title of this post, you know they have done the Nemesis. So, enjoy some geeky analysis of your favorite Decepticon warship (I am just about to watch it as I finish this post) and don't mind the cheeky humor. (It does grow on you over time.) Cheers!
