Looks kinda neat so far, keep it going. What do you plan to do for the actual blade?
I'm sure it'll go for an insane amount auctioned on ebay, so keep it up ;)^

See that was a toss up .I could use clear acrylic and light it up with led lights or make them all metal .the thing wieghs quite a bit now It's allmost six feet without blades .but no matter what I use its gonna be lit up with some led accents .I will put up more pics soon as I'm working on the blades.and urs I hope it would do well on eBay its prolly what I'm gonna do with it .or if somone call dibs LOL

Haha, I would call dibs, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to afford it.

If you airbrushed the crazy design onto the blade like the toy WFC 3rd party axe, that'd look great, and then had the lEDs or some other very bright lights on the inside edges of the blade; the framework borders where it pointed outwards and shone on the blade, that might look cool too. The best look might be to embed the lights in the blade itself, but that would be tricky, I would think, to get the entire blade to look uniformly light up... I would definitely say go with all metal for the blade though, if possible. More badass that way 8)

Yeah I'm gonna go with metal for the blades I could do the acrylic but looking at it from an engineering standpoint it would be pretty flimsy .but yeah I'm thinking I'm gonna light the blades up nice with poss blacklight and use irridesant paint for the blades might POP more . The shaft I'm prolly gonna go for the raw metal look so ill shine it up and use a torch at the joints till I see some nice colors like blues and purples .and clear coat it .personally I have no clue what, this thing will go for on eBay .or what I would ask .

Dude thats looking sick! Did you walk around threatening to axe your co-workers unless they hand over their off-shifts yet? Also, the top of the staff looks like it might benefit from some tappering and extra moulding, imo.
