So let's try this again ...
Aiming to start it next Friday, don't ask me for a specific time, just think Friday morning for you lot in the northern hemisphere. It'll start when it starts and finish two weeks exactly after that.
How it works
Basically if you're a 'Con and you score the stasis locking blow on an Autobot with a alt mode that's been listed under the Autobot targets, you get the kill. Vice versa for the 'Bots.
If a Autobot alt mode is in use by a Decepticon, it is NOT included in the hunt, and vice versa for any Decepticon alts used by Autobots.
When the official tally thread is started, make a post and post all your kills in that one post. Don't keep replying to add more kills, simply edit your original post.
Only kills posted in your first post will be counted.
Any questions, ask them here.
If you caught the whole story before, sweet. If you didn't, well i've only got the lead in to repost as I didn't bother saving the updates.

Cybertron : Kaon
Megatron sat, in what could be best described as his throne, centre piece in the command bunker housed deep in the heart of Kaon.
The war against the Autobots had been going well. Ever since their reactivation on Earth, the Decepticons had managed to gain an advantage over the Autobots.
By concentrating attacks on human targets, the Autobts lead by Optimus Prime and his grand ideal that all life is sacred and should be protected, were left with no choice but to amass their forces on Earth, leaving Cybertron virtually unprotected.
For the first time in the history of Cybertron, the Decepticons controlled it completely. Forcing the Autobots to flee to Earth or to what they believed to be "secret staging grounds" on both of Cybertron's moons.
With the Autobots pushed back and on the defensive, the Decepticons were able to consolidate their forces on Cybertron. Repairs had begun, energon which the Decepticons were now rapidly retrieving from Earth, was being used to bring once dormant systems back online, along with a number of Decepticon warriors who had entered stasis lock due to Energon deprivation.
Soon it would be time for the final assault on Autobot City, but before that could happen, certain resources needed to be retrieved and moved into place. A shipment of energon from Earth had been given the wrong landing co-ordinates and the convoy had set down in a part of Cybertron that was yet to be brought back online.
The fact that such an error had been made had resulted in the permanent deactivation of the traffic controller courtesy of a fusion cannon. But now that energon and the troops protecting and moving it needed to be retrieved, intelligence had already picked up a convoy of Autobots preparing to land in the area. Decepticons were already being dispatched to counter the convoy, however the exact make up of the Autobot force was still to be determined. With that particular sector still powered down, surveillance reports had yet to determine what sort of force the Autobots had put together for the assault though the data was beginning to flow in and the exact make up of the force would soon be revealed ...
Moon Base 1
Optimus Prime sat hunched over the terminal screen studying and processing the latest reports. They all pointed to the same thing.
They were losing the war.
Contact with Earth had caused them to divide their fronts. With Earth being such a rich source of energy it was vital the Autobots ensured it wasn't conquered by the Decepticons. Unfortunately with forces divided they lost control of their home planet of Cybertron completely. Every time Prime looked skywards he saw the planet of his creation, the planet he fought to protect for so long, now in the hands of Megatron and the Decepticons. As much as he liked seeing the planet come slowly to life again after millions of years of war, he knew in the pit of his spark that Cybertron would only be a precursor to the Decepticons eventual goal of conquering the known universe.
He continued to scroll through the reports until an alert flashed on the terminal, calling it up it was a new report. A shipment of energon, stolen from Earth, had landed in an area of Cybertron that had yet to be restored by the Decepticons.
If the Autobots could reach that shipment, and retrieve it, it would give them a boost to the war they badly needed. As it was Prime was about to order a run to Autobot City on Earth for Energon, but if they could retrieve this shipment then such a run wouldn't be necessary.
Orders were given and Autobots who could transport the energon as well as those who could provide air and land defense as well as those who could provide support all rallied.
As updates continued to come through it became obvious that Megatron was assembling his own force to ensure the Decepticons retrieved the shipment. What sort of numbers and make up of that force were still unknown at this time, but no doubt Megatron would throw whatever Decepticons he could muster to ensure the Autobots would never get that Energon.
February 17, 2007
The data streamed in for both Autobots and Decepticons, forces were revealed, battle lines were drawn, the first shot fired and the battle began and continued for many cycles.
Cybertron : Kaon
Megatron stared at the screen, a smile spread across his face. There had been a number of casualties but the Decepticons had succeeded. One team in particular commanded by
Redimus had managed to take out nearly 100 Autobots. The battle was over, the energon secured, now it was time to finish the war.

When I first compiled (about a month and a half ago) a list of alts to use I identified over 1600 targets across a variety of levels. That number will have obviously changed since the new alts were introduced, but i'm confidant there's enough of a mixture across the levels for a good hunt to take place.
