AOE is the first transformers film where none of the new Autobots were my fave of the movie that would go to Stinger despite his role and the fact he is not an Autobot.

I'm grateful they have screen time and personality but there is one problem

ALL OF THEM ARE NOT AUTOBOT LIKE

Sure the humans are hunting them but all of them are just so blood thirsty nor are actually nice i mean really even BEE is rather dark in this film.

Hound: While he is jolly he is overly to trigger happy, wants to kill humans (!) and other problems i just don't know hoe to explain.

Crosshairs: His personality is good i like that being an Autobot does not mean your goody two shoes but there are times where he is a bit too selfish and not Autobot like this would not be a problem if he was the only one who was not Autobot like although i really feel he should of been Prowl.

Drift: He did nothing worthwhile and even he goes i kill you in the movie although he is the least violent of the new guys and he is supposed to be a former con so i would expect him to be more violent then other Autobots.

The only Autobot i liked in this movie was Ratchet

I never have the main characters as my favorites so that means no Optimus or Bee

I honestly hope we get a nice guy in the next film or just have Sideswipe return with some characterization.

I also would of really loved it if Joshua died as he really was a prick who deserved to get squished on he never really learned any lesson besides don't build robots.

He is still an annoying character

Attainger deserved to be executed in the States for his treachery and he did not deserve a painless death without humiliation by Optimus.

The film is full of unlikable characters besides Cade, Lucas and Ratchet.

I liked most of the new characters.(Crosshairs,however,annoys me). As far as Prime and Bee go,their dark attitudes are logical.After all that they did for earth,look what the humans did to them.

Yeah the humans should be the ones you are upset about. The autobots have nothing, and now the humans think they don't even deserve life. So maybe if they are angry its a natural occurrence when something bad against them happens, and especially defended the humans for 7 years before the humans turned on them.

This would not be a problem if it was not all the autobots that were dark.

Optimus is dark
Bumblebee is dark
Hound is dark
Crosshairs is dark
Drift is dark
Brains is dark

Ratchet and Leadfoot don't really count as we dont see them for a long time although i'm surprised Leadfoot was not dark considering he is a Wrecker.

Yes it fits the situation but they are even fighting each other.

The Autobots should not so easily be turned against each other even if humans are hunting them they should especially work together for that reason.

Like there is no nice Autobot in this film its almost similar to having a team of Sunstreakers or a team of Starscreams

I like dark characters

I just hate it when all of them are dark

This is partly why i am disappointed with the Sonic not being an Autobot even if he was just there to add to Lockdown's kill count.

I understand what you are saying. But the new characters being darker fits what they have gone through. Brains wasn't all that dark.

Everyone's kind of a jerk in AoE. "Hateable" characters aren't bad by any means (points to avatar), but a cast should have a balanced mix of personalities instead of the same archetype again and again.

I didn't like any of the Autobots in Age of Extinction. They were bland and they weren't dark at all. You have angry grandpa, a 7 year old, Miley Cyrus' wrecking ball, a samurai wannabe, and a reluctant guy with two guns. The only dark Autobot that was in this movie was Optimus Prime. And he just wanted to kill everything. The Dinobots didn't have any personality. They were there as a taxi and that's it. Face it, all of the Transformers in this movie are just product placement.

and then he pretty much picks up and smells roses and leaves the Autobots as in leave their faction and is never seen again.

Tessa even asks why he did not tell them and he says

"Little girl you go to a pretty dark place when your on death row......not my problem though I'm free at last"

Brains was pretty selfish in this movie compared to DOTM even if he had flaws in DOTM as well.

their actions are justified and believe it or not OP is not going i'll kill you in all of his screen time.

Defend...all they can be means something like to defend them with every bit of effort you have or something to the same effect

kinda like "Defend this planet with your powers combined!"

Its not really hard to understand.

Dinobots were not even supposed to be in AOE as they were supposed to be built up toward a future film with hints and such until someone (probably Hasbro) made them put the Dinobots in the movie

Yup this is what I mean.

I just suck at explaining things.

I would change Hound to be just jolly but ferocious in battle and not just trigger happy at every moment.

I would give Drift a few more lines and remove the part where he kills the alien in the cage but besides that just keep him like that.

Crosshairs would be the same

and i would make the Sonic an Autobot and he would either die at the end of the Sonic chase or he would be captured with Prime and be killed on Lockdown's ship he would also be a rookie who was safe guarding Prime on Ratchet's orders

Actually, Defend....All they can be sounds to me to be talking about defending humanity, looking at their potential.

That Attinger line is him talking about himself you can tell from the end part.

I liked them quite a lot.
Talking about only the new Autobots then,hum,?

Crosshairs is a good guy,bu can come off as mean.He shows that not all Autobots are so willing to help out.But he is loyal and still aids his allies.He seens to like his job.

Hound seens be an loyal army soldier,,he will fight to the end with his companions.Responding to what someone else wrote,he only wanted to kill the humans who were behind the destructions of his autobots friends.

Drift I though it was pretty interresting,he was like "Calm and serenity" then he was like "Die monsters!"I though its was pretty funny how he contradicted himself :lol:
