I just got Arcee, similar to her Energon body. I'm not exactly sure how to post images from my tablet on here. Also, the weapons they use appear to be energon bubbles. That's the only way I can think to describe them.

I'm cautiously optimistic on this new update. Been playing it since Friday, and the game hasn't crashed yet, nor have I cleared a level only to not get coins and piggies. I still have characters dying for no reason on certain levels, but I guess Rovio is fixing one set of bugs at a time.

Dang you might be right! I was playing as Bumblebee, and chose to thank her, and she had the cooperative thank you animation... meaning she identifies as an Autobird in this one. Sure, Blackarachnia occasionally joins the good side, but if her most frequent allegiance is any indicator, this isn't a Deceptihog. So is it still Blackarachnia?

Earlier optimism has faded. It is more stable than the previous version, but I'm still getting a random crash or two a week. Also, the flying pigs are ridiculously overpowered now, unless I've can charge an EMP or all three shields, my characters (All at level 8! or higher) die within ten seconds on "easy" levels. :HEADHURTS: :BOOM:

Definitely glad I've given up on it. My nephew is still playing it and keeps trying to talk to me about it, he's still excited over it, he's just too young to understand I'm old, grumpy, and like my games balanced! Image

I had to wipe my M8 due to the upgrade to 5.0 (Lollipop) and I lost all of my progress and I just thought "screw it" and other than breaking out the Jenga level every now and then, I just ignore it.

It's a shame, I had unlocked a rather sizable amount of characters and paid for (with gems) a bunch of upgrades and had a ton of gems, thanks to the Christmas code they gave out, all of it's gone. Every bit.

It surprises me that Rovio, perhaps the largest developer of mobile games in the world, doesn't backup your progress in all their games.

It drives me insane. Google could do it, too. They keep pushing 100 GBs of free Drive space, which I keep swiping away and have even gone to the point of disabling the app (still receive the notifications...GRR!) so if we have to have it pushed on us like a drug that Nancy Reagan would just say no to, at least make it worth our time and put our backups and full app saves in the cloud.

Fortunately, games like The Room, seem to keep your saved files. I've had to reinstall the first game and it seems to leave off where my progress had been saved. Speaking of The Room...number 3 needs to come out like, yesterday...

CSR Racing was initially connected via your Facebook login, so if you wiped the data, as soon as you connected the game to FB it restored your saved data. They've since expanded that to Google Games.

WWE Immortals is also connected via Google Games. So why Rovio don't do it on all (they do it on some) is beyond me.

Just had an update for the ios version of the game. Said it was for small fixes to make the game even better.

However, it seems to be the update Android users have been enjoying for a while.

Bots have been rearranged in the barracks and two new ones are shadowed out.

My progress is intact, happily.

Fellow fan and Seibertronian, Ravage XK pointed us in the direction of an Angry Birds Transformers update for iOS. Here's what he had to share with us:

Seems to have delivered the same updated features including:

Updated Map.
New trophy.
Tweaks to the city based levels to highlight bridge switches.
Bots have been rearranged in the barracks and two new ones are shadowed out.

That's not all, the Rovio Entertainment YouTube channel has posted a new video to promote this update, and you can watch the video in the embed below:

This is awesome news for the iOS gamers among us and if you haven't joined the other gamers, well now's the time and you can do so by downloading it from iTunes by clicking right here. (Android users already have these updates, it appears and those gamers can download the Android version of the game by clicking here to go to the Google Play store.)

When Heatwave Bird shot up and blasted those enemies with his blue energy cannon, all I could think of was "Power Up and Energize!"

Rovio just released a minor update v1.5.15 and now the game won't start up at all on iOS.

New Rovio Angry Birds Transformers Update Details and Screenshots: Level 15, Arcee, Airachnid

Courtesy of our fellow Seibertronian from Costa Rica Kaliaticus, we have all the details of the new Rovio Angry Birds Transformers mobile device game update! And if you don't believe the write up, you can check out the screenshots that they sent us, mirrored below.

Hey guys! It's your costarrican friend Carlos, aka Kaliaticus, with Angry Birds news. I just installed the latest update, and it's pretty badass. Now you can level your Autobirds and Deceptihogs to level 15. Also, what we've been waiting: you can unlock Arcee and Airachnid. It's got a new way to customize your bots and cons with "materials", but I'm not sure yet of how this works.

Shame the update broke the game on iOS. I have been in touch with Rovio and have been told to sit tight, not to reinstall the game as it might erase game progress. They assure me it's a server side issue and they are working on it.

Angry Birds Transformers Update: Bluestreak and Prowl

With Angry Birds 2 being announced just recently, the Transformers version of the Rovio mobile game has also received some updates: the latest adds a number of new features, such as the new floating sentinel robots, called in to assist by wielding fireballs, lightning storms, and 40 or so skills, which you can create in the Crafting lab. The second big update of potential interest for Transformers fans, is the addition of The Blues playing two different characters: Bluestreak and Prowl! Check out the animation below showing them in action!

I think I really am done with this game. It's still unstable (weapons fire will render as one color only, if not vanish entirely, the music will fail until I restart, the game will crash after the loading screen), and characters I JUST UPGRADED are now getting Very Hard missions, meaning I have to upgrade them again, which, oh look, they just made harder (to get Ultra Mags to Level 11 I need something like 50 cubes and gears, along with two rareium and 150,000 coins) unless you're willing to pay for crystals.

Angry Birds Transformers Target 2016 Update

A new update is on its way for Angry Birds Transformers. TFW2005 member Esquilax79 has some screenshots (mirrored below) that show an updated called Target 2016 which states:
“Where… when are we? Seek out the targets and buildings whilst collecting energon cubes”

There are also blacked out silhouettes of upcoming characters such as the Hotrods.

Let us know if you got the app update yet or not and on which device.
