Any Chance for MTMTE Hardcover Edition?

Are there any plans to print the MTMTE series in a hardcover collection like the IDW Collection and the LSOTW series? I really want to read this series but have been holding off in vain attempts that it will be made into hardcover.

It'll probably be collected in later volumes of the hardcover IDW collections, but since those are still collecting the previous ongoing, we gotta be patient to let them catch up.

As far as MTMTE getting its own hardcover collection a la LSOTW, the series is still going with no signs of stopping any time soon. LSOTW was able to be compiled into one hardcover release because it was only a six-issue mini-series, whereas MTMTE is a full-fledged ongoing series. If MTMTE were to get its own hardcover release, it would A) have to be already done and over with, and B) be a VERY thick book since it's got at least 18 issues and still going strong.

MTMTE has been and is being collected in TPBs, and as Sabr said, might be included in the big IDW collection volumes.

I highly doubt they'd be planning a collector's edition this soon in the works.
Unless they want to do it before Dark Cybertron/Purple Reign, and now that the bigger arc is concluded. :-?

Is IDW Collection continuing indefinitely at this point, or is there a set end volume number?

No set number as far as we can tell.

The goal of the collections was to create a "suggested reading order" for everything leading up to All Hail Megatron. Currently, they're passed AHM and still going with more volumes.

Yeah, and all things considered, I think the Collections will have RID and MTMTE intertwined.

I'm hoping they'll have Autocracy in there somewhere too.

Honestly Storm, the trade paperbacks are not a bad buy. They come with nice little tidbits, like #1 comes with about 10-12 pages of design extras. #2 and #3 also has a handful of nice things in there. The best is that the Annual is including in #3 so you don't have to go searching for that $8 sucker individually

Sabrblade, the TPB for Autocracy is really nice if you haven't picked that up yet!

I love the hardcover editions but I am so tempted to buy the TPB just so I can jump into the story.

Well, I'm currently collecting the hardcover IDW collections, as they provide the quickest way to catch up on everything. I've currently gotten volumes 1-6 and plan to get 7 and then 8 in the near future.

Ha! No no, don't worry! :D

Feel free not to buy them, and wait a little longer. But the trades are good, if you feel like not wanting to wait!

It's not that I don't like RID, but I'd much rather have separate HCs for each series so that I can buy the MTMTE ones first, and I've already got the first two trades. Love this book. Only bad thing about split HCs is that we'd not get the two Annuals in the same collection. Those two are meant to be read together.
