anyone else notice, some ebay members have 2 accounts, one to sell stuff & a 2nd to buy stuff. even though it's illegial to do so & ebay traces ISP. some do the 2 accounts from friends houses,at work. at a internet cafe or at a public place like a library or school.
Just a random observation of mine.
These 2 accounts per ebay member is most likely done for the following purpose. to leave others negative feedback & not get negatives in return. since buyers can only leave negatives on ebay. the only way the guy who got a negative can leave that guy a negative is to bid on one of his auctions & give him a negative.
you can't leave a negative to another member who gave you a negative. if all that guy does is buy stuff & doesn't sell anything.
I've never done it,but I think it's a stroke of genious.
it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out this scam. most fans always clean house & sell stuff or trade it in for something better or newer. if theirs a ebay member just buying & has over a few hundred transactions of just buying, than that's a red flag. he most likely has a 2nd ebay account where he sells stuff with.
is this fair to the ebay member who plays by the rules & just has one ebay account? No it's not.
I'm just amazed that where ever their is a loop hole or way to get around the system people will find a way.
personally ebay made a mistake a few years by not allowing buyers to leave negatives feedbacks to sellers. because buyers have all the power & sellers are sitting ducks in the forest/pond. the sad part is sellers pay all the listings, final value & paypal fees. at the very least make buyers pay some of those listing fees & paypal fees if your gonna give them all this negative feedback power.
