Anyone have any info on this deluxe Soundwave repaint? Is it a Takara exclusive of some type? Looks like I got my hands on #056.

This was supposed to fill out a later Dark of the Moon line but was ultimately cancelled. To my knowledge there are only a few production samples floating around the secondary market and no plans for wide release.

It was part of the cancelled Movie trilogy series. The only figure to come of that series is Movie All Star Prime.

It's an unreleased repaint of the Movie Deluxe Soundwave from Dark of the Moon. It was to be part of the 'Movie Trilogy' line and is referenced and pictured here and here.

I thought it looked like a soundblaster repaint. Looks like I can get my hands on one for about $62 shipped but doesn't come with any weapons.

Might be worth it. It'll be a collector's item in a few years and likely worth much more than that.

I've been looking for this version of Soundwave for ages, never seen one on eBay or up for sale anywhere.

Awesome! Unreleased stuff is always fun, especially when it's not horribly expensive. But yeah, definitely let me know if there are extras, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Movie figures aren't my thing but that vehicle deco is slick.

OK guys this is what I got for you... Don't go crazy with bidding wars because every time one sells he just relist a new one. I've watched three sell thus far and I have seen them end for as much as $78 shipped. I was patient and got mine for $62 shipped. I've purchased from this seller before and all was well.

Darn! I did not mean to start a bid war... The guy has a decent suply of them. When one ends he just relist yet another. So glad I managed to get one for $62 shipped.

Well, seeing how no one knew how to get them, and now there's public links to an ebay auction... I think a bidding war is not a surprise.

She's taking $150 at the moment. If the open auction goes higher that's subject to change. Suffice it to say you got a hell of a deal! I ain't mad though, I've paid more for stuff that actually got released
