It's been a while since the Mad Scientist Lab closed because Photobucket and some other image hosting site either went greedy or completely shut down.
Thanks Imgur for existing... for now.

Last year, some of you may remember the Apocalytrons and the Madmaxtrons. This Combiner Wars custom was a lot of work to do.

A year later, I replaced the jet member with a new Road Warrior, a fembot.
But first, let's refresh all the members. I don't remember the original names so I'll make up new names on the fly.

First, the truck torso, Garbagican. Now with a new mod to store the BFG and two HFG.





The bot is still solid.






Here's the scientist of the group, Mindbender..itron… or something.

The vehicle is wild and dangerous.







The bot is pretty alien-like.







His brother, Last-Aid, is the healer of the group:






Bot is a bit kibly, but it's okay.







Next is a lighter mod, Sir-Wrekalot.







Bot is cool, but cannot hold any weapons.







And now the main event, Femitomblor!

But first, this was the vehicle. It had tank thread at the back. That block didn't transform. Resulting in an impossibility to combine whatsoever.
So I had to rebuild her from scratch. This is the last surviving picture.



After one hell of a redesign, I got something GREAT.






If you have noticed, I follow the Cybertron Crumplezone principle.

The bot is a brawler swordswoman who fight against the Patriarchy!... or not.
If it's alive, she's going to kill it anyway.
Big monkey arms that are not so posable, but they do the job.








Finally, the combined mode, Apocalytron!

Overall, I'm pretty glad about how everyone turned out. Still the combined mode is VERY hard to pose because the truck torso itself is floppy garbage and all the added grebble increase the weight it have to support. So posing is limited.
It's cool though because he's awesome despite it's flaws.



So, watcha think?

I came across this thing at Walmart. Pretty cheap at 28$CAN plus taxes, but we get what we pay for. The plastics are very "margarine container" plus everything is hollow and light. However, my friend was looking for such a trailer to complete his Madmaxtron team so I bought it for him and went to make a light custom.



The plastics of the trailer hitch was exactly the right height from the start! All I had to do was just to install a bolt to peg on the truck, drill some 5MM holes for PPG and weapon storage, and do a quick paint job. Fortunately, I had enough leftover paint from the truck that was still good after all these years.

So here it is, the Madmaxtron Car Carrier!

First, vanilla mode. I forgot to take a picture of the trailer unhitched on it's "kickstand".





As you can see, I used some Reprolabels leftovers, plus a random sticker because why not.



The trailer is big enough to carry the whole team. Even with the new helper, Sparkless Bot, "fully customised" with a . No functions for the top section unfortunately.



Here it is, fully loaded. 3 small vehicles at the bottom, and 2 big ones at the top. As if that trailer was MADE to be in this set! (BTW, I did some paint touch-ups on the red/purple PPG and the truck)













So, what do you think of this simple job?

The fact that the plastic of that trailer is cheap and soft gave a bend to the trailer when fully loaded and the whole thing barely rolled.

So I had to add a set of wheels under using a scrap TF part as a plate and one of the extra truck that came with the trailer initially.I use glue, screws, and... tie-wraps to secure the thing in place. A quick coat of paint and voilà, all the issues are now fixed! Plus the overall look remains unchanged.







NOW I'm truly done and everything is perfect!
