I'm making a more in-depth post in the Arizona sightings thread, but I thought I'd let everyone know that there were five at the Toys R Us on Indian Bend as of today!

Roll out!

Hello, fellow 'zonans! I'm a bit new to collecting, but I went around the Scottsdale area of the valley on Friday (1/27/12) using a printout of locations from this amazing website. I didn't go to every store, but I'll list the ones I did and what I found. Apologies if I don't describe them properly, I'm still learning all of the lingo!

Toys R Us
9139 East Indian Bend Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85250

Mostly Dark of the Moon movie stuff, but there were some surprises. Saw Generations Warpath, Thundercracker, Wheeljack (which you can find anywhere), and Kup. There were five Prime 1st Wave Bumblebees, which I passed up on. There were five Rage Over Cybertron exclusive sets. A couple each of Animated Rodimus and Ironhide. Some other random things; sorry I didn't write it all down, but I took a couple of cell phone shots.

From there, I went to a nearby Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and a Big Lots. Nothing worth reporting. They barely had a single TF item, and it was stuff for toddlers.

Then to the Wal-Mart on the corner of Chaparral and Pima, just west of the 101 N. All of the same stock as far as movie-based merch, but that was about it. Same with the Target in the same plaza as the Toys R Us.

A little bummed (I had been hoping for the 2nd wave of Prime figures - shot in the dark), I headed closer to home. Stopped by the Target on 44th St & Thomas Rd in Phoenix, but it was about the same as the other Target but for a lone Generations Wheeljack. I might pick one of those up just because I feel bad for how many of those I see everywhere. But then I went to the Ross next door, and... success! I walked away with Reveal the Shield Tracks, Jazz and Perceptor! :D These figures are remaining:

The Toys R Us is getting a new shipment Tuesday morning. I called the Toys R Us at Paradise Valley mall, and while they were entirely out of Prime figures, they said their next shipment of stuff should arrive on Wednesday.

Good hunting, stalkers.

Which ones did they have? Any Cliffjumper?

No, sadly, just Bumblebees. I looked! I didn't even know about the Prime figures until I happened across a lone Arcee a couple weeks ago, which I bought.

I updated the official Arizona sightings thread, by the way. :)

Hey, stopped over @ ToysRUs on Bell & 3st and guess what. They had the Transformers: Prime Robots In Disguise toys. Looks like the 3 Bumblebees, 2 wheeljacks, 2 Cliffjumpers, and 1 Soundwave come in a box. Priced at $14.99, I was only able to pick up Soundwave. But they also had 3 Optimus Primes and 1 Megatron. I'm so pissed I'm broke, these voyagers are priced at $26.99. I would take a pic of my soundwave but someone needs to tell me how to paste it in my post. I don't know how. Happy huntin. Hope this helps. Oh, and also I stopped at the Target on Bethany & 19th and they had a bunch of the cyber verse size TF: Prime toys.

Aw, Soundwave is the one I'm looking for! Ah well, congrats to you, and thanks for letting us know! Looks like I'll be running around the valley again tonight.

Oh by the way, to get an image in your post, you need to first upload it somewhere. I use imgur.com for my pictures. Then you use the "Img" button when making your post.

Sorry for taking Soundwave, he's my favorite. I think he's 1 per box so it might take some time to find him. My main thing right now is, will Walmart and Target have them at a cheaper price. And thanks for advise on uploading image.

Whew! Just spent my lunch break running around. Here's where I went and what I found:

Target, Bethany Home & 19th St. - Tons of DOTM MechTech, but also tons of Legends class figures, including the new Prime ones! There's a single Arcee, but otherwise there was at least two of everyone. I picked up a Crankcase to go with my larger one, as well as a Flak. They also had Ultimate Optimus Prime. He was huge! Here's stock pictures:

Walgreen's, same plaza - I scored with an RTS Mindset and a Legends class Hubcap! Only other one they had was the toaster, whose name (like the plot of the movie that featured him) escapes my mind. The rest were a few MechTech figures, that I also saw at the Wal-Mart on 35th St & Bethany Home, and the Walgreen's on 35th St & Camelback, along with nothing else to report.

I'll try a couple more stores tonight. Good hunting, stalkers.

Edit: Oops! I meant Legends Scout class Hubcap, and Cyberverse Crankcase and Flak. And of course, the Target had Cyberverse figures, not Legends.

Also, how Transformer babby formed?

Well I tried the Target on 44th & McDowell, and was able to score a Soundwave, at last! That's all I took there. But in my excitement, I forgot I was after Wheeljack, too! So instead of harassing those guys further (they were pretty busy), I went down to the Target in Tempe Marketplace, and grabbed a Wheeljack from there.

There is still a Soundwave at that Target!! Grab it while it's hot!!

I checked the Ross stores in both locations. The first only has an RTS Perceptor left, tucked away on the upper shelf. The one at Tempe Marketplace had diddly, with an extra shot of squat.

How much was Target pricing there TF: Prime deluxe and voyagers?

Ooh, I actually didn't look at the receipt. I want to say 12.99, but I could be wrong.

Soundwave is a great figure, by the way. But Wheeljack was an impressive surprise! Really enjoying him a lot.

I snagged the last/only Soundwave and Wheeljack from Toys R Us on Ray and 54th in Chandler. They only had 8 figures in total (3X Bumblebee and 3X Cliffjumper). No Voyagers on display or SKU stickers listed. Going to try again tomorrow because another truck is supposed to arrive on Thursday.

Target in Ahwatukee says they have the Voyagers in stock but nothing on the shelves. Going to try today or tomorrow of TRU is a bust.

Happy hunting AZ gents.

I just got back from my Thursday hunt. Looks like the TRU on Ray and 54th has restocked:

6X Bumblebee
4X Cliffjumper
2X Wheeljack
1X Soundwave

I was considering picking up another Soundwave and Wheeljack but I had my eyes set on something else today.

Looks like the Target in Ahwatukee (Ray and 48th) receiving and shelved the initial run of Transformers Prime Cyberverse Legion class figures. I picked up the only Arcee and Ratchet along with the 2nd to last Vehicon. There were an entire peg's worth of Bumblebees and plenty of Cliffjumpers to go around.

Didn't ask about the voyager and deluxe class because I forgot the SKU numbers :BANG_HEAD:

Hey, DrLegend, are you on TFW2005.com? In the conventions section of their forum there's a thread about an Arizona Transformers fans meetup this Sunday.

Another highly localized stock update for you all. This involves the plaza at the southeast corner of Bethany Home & 19th Ave, just east of the 17N.

I checked out the Ross and found a handful of 2010 versions of Wreckloose, Backstop, and Undermine, at least 3 each. I also found a few Iron Man crossover figures, and these RTS figures:

I then headed for Target, hoping for a Cyberverse Vehicon; no such luck. What I did find was a bit surprising:

Image

Oh my, two TFP:RID Voyager Primes! I left them there (I'm a cab-over purist). Here's the rest:

Good hunting, stalkers!

Sadly I'm not but I'm reading through the AZ thread now. Sadly (again), I am unavailable this weekend but perhaps I can make the next one.

Ah, too bad, it's only annual I think. Well the guys and gals on there seem pretty friendly, and willing to meet for trades and stuff.

I found a Cyberverse Vehicon! It was at the Target at Southern Ave & Longmore in Mesa. Sorry, I bought it, but I did pass up another Arcee, and a collection of Ratchets, Bumblebees, and Cliffjumpers. Here's the rest:

I ran up to the TRU on 3rd St & Bell Rd. They have quite an interesting collection of Transformers! Some surprising back stock. I actually found a Generations Blurr! There's also a Generations Dirge, and two Generations Thunderwings. They were fully stocked on TFP:RID (minus Soundwave), including Megatron and Optimus. Anyway, here's pictures:

Then I ran across the street to the plaza with the Ross, Big Lots, and Walgreens. Ross had two RTS G2 Optimus Primes.

Image

Big Lots had a couple each of these three Minicons, as well as an entire box of Wreckloose, Backstop, and Undermine.

Image

They also had these hilarious knockoffs! The back of the card has pictures of all of the knockoffs, including a couple of insect ones, which Big Lots didn't have. If anyone sees these anywhere, please let me know!

Hey guys just got home with my Optimus prime with trailer from the movie trilogy line. Optimus is pretty much the walmart deluxe exclusive. I don't feel he's worth $29.99, but I just had to have this movie trailer. The Walmart Optimus will work with this trailer but you'll have to do a little mod. G1 Optimus would work also but again you'll have to do a little mod. I was able to connect my TF:Prime Optimus with no problem, the holes are perfect. But his hitche area is about a1/4 inch too tall so the trailer isn't level. A bad shame because TF Prime Optimus and this movie trailer scale well together.

Oh I was able to get this movie trilogy Optimus at the Target on 99th ave and lower buckeye. I was lucky, they actually went to the back and got this out even though it doesn't come out till next week.

I saw the Movie Trilogy Prime at the TRU on Indian Bend & 101N today. I didn't realize how small it actually was until I saw it first hand. $35 for that tiny thing and an empty trailer?

Anyway, here are pictures of their loot: IMGur gallery

Wow. I don't get paid again until the 7th but I'm hoping they'll still have those Rage over Cybertron sets available.

They seem to move product pretty slowly, so you stand a good chance!
