Although I would love to have kids toys ads banned here too, no more annoying ad for Slut/Bratz dolls and Pixel Chix.
Pixel Chix
Also, even without the current bans, My niece is not alowed to get Bratz, and if she does she can't open them.
I don't know if anyone recalls Mattel being forced to change the Barbie Doll about ten years ago because it set an unrealistic stereotype for girls.
Well these dam things must be the toymakers revenge!
....maybe I should try that on my daughter. Of course, right now all we let her get are stuffed toys, My Little Ponies, Littlest pet shop, care bears.....well, basically if mattel made it, she can't have it, save for the character Barbies like the Wizard of Oz barbies or DC comic barbies (Barbra Gordon....great Barbie doll).
....Oh, & Transformers, of course. Can't forget that. Primus is one of her favorites.
Katie was so cute going to school with here Energon Prime backpack, all the boys cried cause she had one.
But beyond that. That's good parenting, to many of the ones I know will give their kids whatever just to shut them up!
I say(as a single person), take that stand now and inforce those morals now, cause before you know it, it's to late, she's 14 and your Grampa!
Still, on topic, banning TV commercials is pretty stupid to me. It's kids with the toys, and maybe some effects, I can't recall any horrific dismemberment or violence in any of them.
