I would love to agree with this, but I am not sure this movie would make as much money as we would like. It would draw TF fans like gangbusters, but we only make up a fraction of the audience these movies are aimed at....without general appeal the movie would be hard-pressed to recoup its costs. And I don't know if it can have general appeal without a human factor.

well...yes...we will miss something from the humans, we won't alot of jokes and humor, about the audience i am not sure, they could rated PG for the action, and i don't think robots would use ''Damn'' or ''SH**'' since robots didn't meet the humans yet to learn one of their curse words.

still i think it will be aimed for adults, also this will not be the first movie that doesn't contain humans.

You have a movie that made over a billion dollars in the box office designed to sell toys. Of course there will be a 4th one. We will keep getting new ones until people stop going to see them or stop buying the toys. Between this movie and Cars 2, I have spent quite a bit on toys!

This is my first post here so bear with me as a try to figure your site out! :-B

Unicron is a bit much I think.
I wouldn't mind a completely unique made for the movie villain.

Personally, my choice would be to set up Unicron as the major villain, but with the idea of keeping him off-screen until the third movie (assuming it's a trilogy), or maybe the end of the second one.

Spend the first movie with the Autobots fighting against his herald, who I would LOVE to be Nemesis Prime. And- thinking in terms of selling toys- if Nemesis Prime were a Unicron-controlled Optimus Prime, Hasbro could bring in Rodimus to replace Optimus. Then the second movie would be something like Nemesis bringing back more of Unicron's heralds or something, and the third would finally be the face-off against Unicron, along with the inevitable Optimus regaining control of himself and sacrificing his life to defeat Unicron, blah de blah de blah. This would not only create an overflow of suspense and longing and make everyone really excited for Unicron to finally show, but it would give the animators a long time for technology to advance so their computers wouldn't melt when it was finally time for Unicron to come along.

The one downside I see with having Unicron is that Hasbro'll probably want to make even more movies after that. And where do you go after the giant planet-eating monster? Anything else is kind of a step down afterwards.

...Or hey, Shattered Glass. That might be fun.

so long as the 4th movie isnt done by Michael Bay and and they start from scratch so all the transformers dont look like crappy zoids and so long as they fire Mr Brown nose Lebouff i couldnt give a crap if the next bad guy was Benny Hill!

just stop bay from ruining Transformers and giving himself a hardon over the military and i will be happy

Christ get rid of mr touchy steven 'throw money at it till its better' spielberg and hire a decent director like Peter jackson or james Cameron and then bring back Megan Fox whos about the only decent thing in the entire 3 movies (i know she wasnt in 3 - rosie was crap like a fart in an elevator) well actually the only 2 decent things in the entire awful bay movie line was megan fox and alice and she was cut way way to short

Guys, come on: do you REALLY think we'll get a movie without humans? Seriously? Also, Bay's movies made BILLIONS of dollars. If they don't have to change the formula, they won't. And I'm happy about that.

I always thought Nemesis Prime would be a cool concept, especially if his origin was done in a similar way to Scourge from RiD.

I don't know how many people would recognize these characters, but it would be cool to have Deathsaurus with the BreastForce (but they have to chance the name)come to Earth and kick some serious tail.
