Apparently there are more Jetfires out there, but the stores have not put them on shelves yet, its just that there will be no more Classics Jetfires shipping into the country by Hasbro AU.

Someone over at TAAU mentioned that we may have to wait until movie figures grace our shelves, and overstock from Cybertron through Classics might be lumped altogether with Movie merch, but I find that hard to swallow, Transformers toys sell well, at least in the Scout and Deluxe size ranges, stores seem to go through the smaller size classes fairly well, once you get to the Voyagers though, they are just too expensive.

I got Ramjet off ebay for about $2 more than it would have cost retail. Screw dealing with distribution.

For those of you who dont mind KO's:

Kmart in Penrith and Mt Druitt both have some KO G1 gestalts available for under $10.

I found them in with the Tonka trucks and whatnot, there are the Yellow renditions of the Constructicons, and more G1 correct colour versions of the Aerialbots and Protectobots.

The quality seems to be better than the KO's you can get from Paddy's markets and various $2 shops. The packaging is open face, so you can see all the componants, the figures as well as the chest plates, weapons feet etc.

I could only find these three, so I assume that there is no Menasor, Bruticus or Computron KO's available.

They have been at Blacktown K-Mart for years. I have all 3, no, there are no more. Devastator is awful, alot of the parts break. Superion is good, but feels weak and Defensor in the Guard City colours is great except Groove is crap.

In a newsagent in The Corso at Manly today I found Classics Deluxe 'Value Pack' containing Bumblebee and Astrotrain. There were two of it, and it was $35.

BigW
They have rearranged and have less than Parra TRU
Target
Minicons and still attempting to sell Cybertron stock.
K-Mart
Primes and new Doublepacks.

Grimlock is rare again, Cliffjumper and Ramjet are no-shows and Mirage is damned Common.

Found 4, yes 4, count them 4!!! Jetfire's at Brisbane City Myer yesterday. Nearly fell over.

Selling for $49.95. Too bad, I've already got 2 from eBay, didn't care about the cost of shipping, it was worth it.

Still no sign of Cliffjumper and Ramjet.

I was just checking up on CaseFresh and I noticed they've slashed the prices on a lot of the Classics figures.
Voyager Prime is down to $25
Starscream and Astrotrain are both $19.50
Bumblebee, Rodimus and Mirage are all $12.50

Also Cliffjumper is still in stock at $24.50
Ramjet and Jetfire seem to be sold out forever there now though.

Target Penrith have moved their Transformers stock, half of it is behind a support beam.

Anyways they have the Ultra Magnus vs. Skywarp pack (about 6) for $45, as well as plenty of Voyager Prime and Megatrons for the same price.

Also the 2nd wave of minicons were available for $15 each.

I really wish TRU would stock decently as they only charge $10 for their minicons, and really that is all they are worth.

Im not sure how the stores are going to react to the Movie line, they are still trying to flog off Superman stuff, and it seems the TMNT stuff isnt selling too well either (though it may change when the movie is actually let out in time for the holidays)

Just a quick little update:

Coles stores seem to be reducing their 3 inch Titanium figures to $5, so if your local Coles stocks them have a look, they will either be in their usual toy aisle or on a side cap at the end of an aisle with Superman movie and other clearance toys.

Also keep your eyes peeled for LoC sized classics, Autobot Whirl, Bumblebee, Menasor and Jetfire are all available for about $6.

For all of you from Western Sydney:

Classics Jetfire has emerged at Toys 'R' Us in Penrith, there were two of them, for the cut back price of $40. So check your local TRU's for him.
TRU have received the Wave 2 minicons, but their price has jumped from $10 to $15.

Im sure that the Megatron and Metrolpex Cybertron Leader figures will be in the clearance bin soon, there were about 30 of each on the overstock shelves.

Good to hear you finally get one, hope he lived up to (the very high) expectations.

Funny for Astrohobby to have Transformers stuff, they have had the same Micron Legend Laserbeak and various Superlink figures there for ages, all at hugely inflated prices, but $46 for Revoltech Convoy is a pretty good price.

He's pretty good.

Sadly one of his head-lasers was attached slightly crooked on my one though, and I'm not a huge fan of the feet in terms of stability, and it would be nice if the joints in his legs had been designed a bit better. Specifically the fact that he has rotation below the knee and yet no rotation at the hip. (Same problem as Astrotrain).

But yes, those tiny problems aside, he's truly awesome!

Luckily I had no trouble with my Jetfire at all, personally I think his feet do fine, as his backpack is very light.
Mirage is the only Classic figure I have trouble with, he cannot be transformed back into car mode, as his head wont snap back into place.

In a quick note Coles Cambridge Gardens, Mt Druitt, Woodcroft and Penrith (Centro Nepean) all have restocked their $5 3 inch figures, from Optimus Primal to the Ark, and Bumblebee to Smokescreen.

Just a heads up for anyone who has yet to get their Classics Collection up to date, Target has 20% off toys this week, from Wednesday to Wednesday.

Will save you a fair whack on the vs. packs.
