Auto Assembly 2013 Major Updates

We've been quiet for a little while here at Auto Assembly. We've spent the last few months trying to recover from Auto Assembly 2012 and making plenty of plans for next year's convention, and taking a look back at some of the things we did this year so we can make 2013 the best convention we have ever organised.

Anyway, onto Auto Assembly 2013 and we have some fantastic things lined up for all of you. As you may know, back in August we confirmed our three voice actors who are joining us - Dan Gilvezan (G1 Bumblebee), Neil Kaplan (RiD Prime) and Steve Blum (TF: Prime Starscream), but since then we've been fairly quiet. Until now...

Over on our website, we've been busy making a lot of announcements about the convention and this is going to continue for the next few months with something new coming from us every few days!

One Day Passes
Until now, we have only been selling full weekend tickets for Auto Assembly 2013, but as of 22nd November 2012 we have now made one day passes available for the convention. However, these are limited so if you are interested, you'll need to book these sooner rather than later!

Guests

Starting things off are our guests. We deliberately held back on announcing our comic guests for 2013 so we still had guests to announce after our voice actors! Anyway, our first two confirmed comic guests are Simon Furman and James Roberts with more to come over the next few days.

Convention Exclusives

We've just unveiled the artwork for the first of our convention exclusive postcards for Auto Assembly 2013 and you can find this on our website. It's already been extremely well received and we'll be showing you the artwork for the rest of the cards over the coming months. That's not all though - we have more convention exclusive merchandise that we'll be announcing, starting tomorrow...

Full details on all of these stories and many more are on the Auto Assembly website, as well as more news to come over the next few days!

Auto Assembly 2013 is Europe's largest EVER Transformers convention and is taking place over the weekend of 9th - 11th August 2013 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel. To book your tickets, to enquire about dealers tables or sponsorship / advertising opportunities or to find out more including details of all the dealers attending, all of our guests and a full schedule for the weekend, visit the website at http://www.autoassembly.org.uk

If you can't make it to the convention, we'll be offering a Non-Attendee Package early in the new year and running other online activities that you'll be able to get involved with!

Hope to see you all next year!

Auto Assembly 2013 - Jason Cardy, Kat Nicholson, Nick Roche, Ed Pirrie

Two more updates on the biggest European convention: Auto Assembly! This week has brought two more pieces of news, confirming some of the guests that were teased so far: Jason Cardy, Kat Nicholson, Nick Roche and Ed Pirrie join the amazing line-up that already sees Dan Gilvezan, Neil Kaplan, Steve Blum, Simon Furman, James Roberts, Andrew Wildman, John-Paul Bove, Kris Carter, Liam Shalloo and Andrew Griffith! Find out more about each guest atAuto Assembly's Guests page.

We promised that this would be a special week of guest announcements and we thought that we couldn’t let things rest with just Jason Cardy and Kat Nicholson so we thought that it was time to continue… so we’re proud to announce that in August, once again we are being joined by none other than Nick Roche for Auto Assembly 2013!

This will be Nick’s fifth appearance at Europe’s largest Transformers convention and as well as signing autographs and sketching, he will be taking to the stage alongside our other IDW guests James Roberts and Andrew Griffith for a panel currently scheduled for the Sunday. Time to dig out your copies of Last Stand Of The Wreckers again everyone…

But that’s not all… we are also being joined once again by prominent fan artist and our in-house art supremo, Ed Pirrie. Ed has once again provided the convention with a stunning array of artwork for the convention this year including our exclusive t-shirts, all of this year’s postcards (with more being revealed shortly) and is hard at work on this year’s comic strip for The Cybertronian Times. Ed will be sketching all weekend in our guest area.

We still have more guests to announce so stay tuned…

Convention season is almost here for Transformers fans, and Auto Assembly has nothing to envy BotCon in terms of guests! Today's announcement sees the return of Jim Sorenson, one of the minds behind Transformers: The Ark, The Ark Volume II, The AllSpark Almanac, The Complete Ark, The AllSpark Almanac II and currently Transformers Legacy and the Transformers: 30th Anniversary Collection.

After a three year absence, we are proud to announce that writer Jim Sorenson is making a much-overdue return to Auto Assembly for the 2013 convention taking place over the weekend of 9th – 11th August 2013.

In his own words, Jim is a super-secret spy, has a motorcycle, marooned in space, meets Hercules… or not… He’s been a long-time fan of science-fiction literature in general and Transformers in particular. His guidebooks are well regarded by the fan communities for their exhaustive attention to detail. Reports of his incarceration in another dimension should be dismissed as the unfounded rumors they are.

He has been working for IDW since 2006 and in that time he has been responsible (solely and in collaboration with Bill Forster) for Transformers: The Ark, The Ark Volume II, The AllSpark Almanac, The Complete Ark, The AllSpark Almanac II. He is currently working on Transformers Legacy and the Transformers: 30th Anniversary Collection. In addition to these he also wrote the GI: Joe field Manuals, volumes 1 and 2 and is currently working on a new Robotech RPG supplement. Jim’s blog can be found at http://boltax.blogspot.co.uk/.

At Auto Assembly 2010 Jim presented Oddities And Curiosities, a retrospective look at 25 years of rare Transformers artwork to a crowd of over 500 people in Birmingham, England and he will be taking to the stage at the convention for a Q&A Panel… who knows what he will say this time around!

If you have not already booked for the convention, tickets are still available and they can be purchased from the site at: http://www.autoassembly.org.uk/auto-assembly-2013-ticket-bookings/ but they are selling faster than ever this year so book early to avoid disappointment as we do have a cut-off of 1,000 attendees this year!

As well as Jim, we are being joined at the convention by Dan Gilvezan (G1 Bumblebee), Neil Kaplan (RiD Prime) and Steve Blum (TF: Prime Starscream), as well as comic guests Simon Furman, James Roberts, Andrew Griffith, Nick Roche, and many more.

Auto Assembly 2013 is Europe’s largest Transformers convention and is taking place over the weekend of 9th – 11th August 2013 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel. To book your tickets or find out more including details of all the dealers attending, all of our guests and a full schedule for the weekend, visit the website at http://www.autoassembly.org.uk

The final guest for this year's edition of Auto Assembly has been revealed last week, and it's none other than fan-favourite MTMTE artist Alex Milne!

Milne joins the rest of the amazingly long list of guests at Europe's biggest convention, for which tickets are still available here.

We thought we’d surprise all of you with one final guest for this year’s convention and what a surprise it is! We’re pleased to announce the debut of IDW artist Alex Milne to Auto Assembly this year! Alex will be joining us at Auto Assembly 2013 for the whole weekend and will be doing sketches for attendees at the convention for anyone who might be interested (as we watch the queue quickly form…).

For those of you who don’t know (where have you been for the last few years?) Alex is a comic artist who has been working for IDW for several years, primarily on various Transformer titles athough he has worked on numberous other books although he has said that Transformers is a personal favourite. He is currently the artist for More Than Meets The Eye, working alongside James Roberts.

We have received an update from Auto Assembly 2013

Auto Assembly 2013 Presents... Night Of The Bumblebee!

Auto Assembly 2013 is just ONE MONTH away and we're pleased to be able to bring you the first exciting details of this year's schedule starting with the Friday night of the convention, which is EXCLUSIVE for weekend ticket holders...

We are really excited about this extra special programme and we believe that it is going to be our biggest Friday night programme ever. Attendees will be able to collect their passes for the convention from our Registration Desk from 12:30 pm on the Friday afternoon but when we open the doors for Europe's Largest Transformers Convention at 6:00 pm, you're going to be in for a great night!

We're going to start the night off with a a special look at Overlord, first deconstructing the character in a special session hosted by none other than James Roberts, Nick Roche and Alex Milne! Following on from that will be a discussion panel and Q&A session with the More Than Meets The Eye creative team.

But that's not all. We then move up a gear into our special theme for the evening... the Night Of The Bumblebee! We're shifting gear to take a look at everyone's favourite yellow Autobot - G1 Bumblebee as portrayed by one of our guests of honour for Auto Assembly 2013, Dan Gilvezan.

We'll be kicking things off with a special panel looking at the legacy of Bumblebee over the last three decades in the toys, comics and on screen followed with the night's main event. Dan Gilvezan will take to the stage to give an exclusive reading from his biography "Bumblebee And Me" and will then take part in a Q&A Panel talking about his books!

We may even have a few other things mixed in as well as all of this! For those of you who don't have a copy of "Bumblebee And Me" yet, Dan will be bringing some over to the convention with him but supplies of these will be limited so if you want to get your copy before the convention to get it signed by Dan, you can order it from Amazon at http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1467 ... =vitpla-21

As we have said, this night is EXCLUSIVE for weekend ticket holders but if you have only booked for the Saturday or Sunday then you can upgrade your tickets. Just email us at contact@autoassembly.org.uk for more details on how you can do this.

If you have not already booked for the convention, tickets are still available and they can be purchased from the site at: http://www.autoassembly.org.uk/auto-ass ... -bookings/ but they are selling faster than ever this year and ticket sales are far ahead of where we were this time last year so book NOW to avoid disappointment as we do have a cut-off of 1,000 attendees this year! Pre-registrations close on TUESDAY 30TH JULY 2013 so hurry to book your tickets for what is set to be the biggest and best Auto Assembly ever!

We have a great guest line-up this year and as well as Dan Gilvezan we are being joined by Neil Kaplan (RiD Prime) and Steve Blum (TF: Prime Starscream), as well as comic guests Simon Furman, James Roberts, Andrew Griffith, Nick Roche, Alex Milne, Jim Sorenson and many more!

Auto Assembly 2013 Tickets Booking Deadline Extended

PostPosted: Fri Jul 12, 2013 6:47 am
by Va'al
See below for a message from Auto Assembly organisers!

Image

We know that a lot of you are excited about attending Auto Assembly 2013 this year, but as always many of you are leaving booking until the last minute. While this doesn’t help us as a convention we do appreciate that many of you don’t know until late whether or not you are able to attend, often for financial reasons.

However, what doesn’t help many of you is the fact that a lot of you get paid at the end or the beginning of the month. With pre-registrations closing on 30th July, that makes things very difficult this year for a lot of you to get tickets before registrations close. So what we have done is EXTENDED the deadline for pre-registrations for Auto Assembly 2013! As we are heading to the convention early this year, we won’t be able to process bookings too late this year but we are pleased to confirm that you will now be able to book tickets until Thursday 1st August 2013. That will mean that any of you who are paid at the end of the month or anyone who is paid at the beginning of the month will have a change to get their tickets!

If you think that this is still going to be a problem for you booking by this date, please get in touch as soon as possible as we may be able to assist some of you. Please bear in mind that we will not be able to assist anyone beyond 31st July 2013 if you may need assistance as we will be in the final preparations of heading to the convention.

To get your tickets visit the Auto Assembly 2013 Ticket Bookings Page NOW.

Auto Assembly 2013 Full Programme Announced

With less than a month to go, Auto Assembly finally announed their full programme, including kitbashing workshops, script readings, comic panels and much more! Take a look below.

Auto Assembly 2013 Full Programme Announced

For those of you keeping up-to-date with everything going on here at Auto Assembly HQ, you will know that we have already released details of what is taking place on the Friday night at Auto Assembly 2013 with our special Night Of The Bumblebee for those attendees are joining us for the weekend. However, after months of work, we are now able to bring you the full schedule for the weekend for the convention!

This is now available to download from the Auto Assembly website at http://www.autoassembly.org.uk/AutoAsse ... gramme.pdf and as you will see, we have a packed weekend on offer split over four function rooms at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel with things kicking off on Friday 9th August 2013 and running on right until Sunday 11th August 2013. We have a wide range of different panels and workshops on each day so to experience everything that Auto Assembly 2013 has to offer you really will want a weekend pass for the event. As we do every year at the convention, the Friday and Saturday evenings are reserved exclusively for weekend ticket holders. Some of this year’s highlights include:

* An exclusive reading from Bumblebee And Me by Dan Gilvezan (Friday Night)
* An IDW Panel featuring Andrew Griffith, Alex Milne James Roberts and Nick Roche (Saturday)
* A Regeneration One Panel featuring John-Paul Bove, Simon Furman and Andrew Wildman (Saturday)
* The 2013 Script Reading featuring Steve Blum, Dan Gilvezan and Neil Kaplan (Saturday Night)
* Q&A Panels with our voice actors (Neil Kaplan on Saturday, Dan Gilvezan and Steve Blum on Sunday)
* Q&A Panel featuring Jim Sorenson (Sunday)
* Youtube, Kitbash, Art and Colourist Workshops (various, all weekend)

For those of you who haven’t booked your tickets yet, or who have never attended Auto Assembly before, everything listed in the programme is included in the ticket price! Once you have paid for your tickets, all you will need to pay for after that is your travel, accommodation, food and drink and for anything that you buy from our dealers. We don’t charge for workshops and our guests do not charge for autographs. Our artists will sell original artwork, prints and sketches and some of our voice actors may bring items with them for sale, but none of them will charge to sign any items that you bring with you to the event.

You can see everything by downloading the Auto Assembly 2013 Programme and if you have already booked a single day pass and now want to upgrade for a full weekend ticket to experience everything that Auto Assembly 2013 has to offer, email us at contact@autoassembly.org.uk to take advantage of our great upgrade offer!

With the convention taking place in less than a month's time, there is no better time to register to be a part of this year's event. We are also pleased to announce that we have now EXTENDED the deadline for pre-booking tickets. Many people contacted us about the original 30th July deadline telling us that they didn't get paid until the beginning or end of the month so this made things difficult for them to book, especially as they were unsure if they could attend until then. As a result we have now extended pre-bookings until 1st August 2013.

However, if this payment deadline is still likely to be a problem for you but you still want to pre-register, please contact us as we may be able to assist you rather than leaving you in a position of having to but on-the-door tickets.

Auto Assembly 2013 is Europe's largest Transformers convention and is taking place over the weekend of 9th - 11th August 2013 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel. To book your tickets or find out more including details of all the dealers attending, all of our guests and a full schedule for the weekend, visit the website at www.autoassembly.org.uk

Auto Assembly 2013 Pre-Registrations Close In Two Weeks

It's hard to believe that Auto Assembly 2013 is only three weeks away! We're still working hard to bring everyone our best convention ever and we STILL have a lot more surprises in store... we have a fantastic free gift giveaway to announce in conjunction with one of this year's sponsors and we may even have one last surprise guest up our sleeves.

2013 is set to be the biggest year yet for Europe's Largest Transformers Convention. We have more dealers attending the convention than ever and not only is our dealers area a total sell-out but we have a large waiting list of dealers wanting table space. Tables are in such high demand now at the convention that spaces for AUTO ASSEMBLY 2014 are now over 50% sold!

We have a stunning guest line up - we have three voice actors joining us - Steve Blum (TF: Prime Starscream), Dan Gilvezan (G1 Bumblebee) and Neil Kaplan (RiD Optimus Prime) supported by a plethora of comic talent headlined by Simon Furman, Andrew Wildman, Nick Roche, James Roberts, Alex Milne, Andrew Griffith, Jim Sorenson and many more...

Over the three days we have guest Q&A Panels, a special themed Bumblebee night with an exclusive reading from Bumblebee And Me by Dan Gilvezan, special panels with IDW creative talent and a panel dedicated to Regeneration One, two charity auctions, free workshops, a script reading featuring all our voice actors on stage together in a brand new original story, a cosplay competition, and much more. And if you get hungry or thirsty during the day, why not pop into our themed bar / restaurant... SWERVE'S DINER!

If you haven't already got a copy of Bumblebee And Me, Dan will be bringing copies with him for sale but these will be limited so if you want to get this before the convention to get signed, you can get your copy before the convention here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1467 ... =vitpla-21

If you've never been to Auto Assembly before everything taking place at the convention is included in the ticket price! Once you have paid for your tickets, all you will need to pay for after that is your travel, accommodation, food and drink and for anything that you buy from our dealers. We don’t charge for workshops, autographs (our artists will sell original artwork, prints and sketches and some of our voice actors may bring items with them for sale, but none of them will charge to sign any items that you bring with you to the event), Q&A panels or for our "Premium" Friday and Saturday night events - all you need for these is a full weekend pass!

The full Schedule for the convention, including a map of all our function rooms, is available to download from the Auto Assembly website so you can see for yourself what a packed weekend we have on offer. If you've already booked for one of the days but now want to upgrade for the full weekend so you don't miss out on anything, email us at contact@autoassembly.org.uk to take advantage of our great upgrade offer!

Tickets for Auto Assembly 2013 are selling quickly and once again we are on target to set a new European attendance record. If you want to be a part of the convention this year, pre-registrations close in TWO WEEKS on 1st AUGUST 2013. We may have on-the-door places available, but if you want a personalised pass for the convention and to guarantee early admission for the weekend then you will need to book in advance.

Alex Milne pre-Auto Assembly 2013 Sketch List Open

PostPosted: Fri Jul 19, 2013 1:41 pm
by Va'al
Fan-favourite IDW artist, currently on MTMTE, Alex Milne has opened a sketch list for Auto Assembly, on fellow fan-site Full Metal Hero! This is your chance to get your hands on a unique piece of art by one of the favoured artists working on Transformers at the moment. Check the details below, and head over to his thread to sign up!

As the title of my thread says, I will be at Auto Assembly this year, and I will be doing sketches for anyone who wants one who is coming to the show.

I will be doing head and shoulder shots of characters (one character per sketch please) B&W will be £15 and colour will be £30 and this will be on A4 size.

Full body images will be £70 for B&W and £140 for colour and will be on 11x17 size paper which is about A3 size. (since these would take the longest to do, please allow the most time for them)

I will also be doing custom character sketches for anyone who wants their car or any vehicle turned into a transformer. This will be on A4 size paper, full figure and only in colour and will be £100

I have posted up some images here of different types of sketches I've done at past convention for you to look at.
I am going to cap the advance list at 20 for the headshots and 5-8 for the full body depending on the characters and the time. The custom one if I can start them before, that would be great, but I would need photos of the vehicle, so any reference you cna provide is greatly appreciated
Ok, if your interested please leave a order in this thread. Please leave you first name, character you want, type of sketch, and what day you'll be available to collect your picture.
Cut off for the advanced list will be August 5th.

We're less than three weeks away from Auto Assembly 2013 and once again we're on collision course for a new European attendance record but as always, we're not satisfied with just doing that - we want to smash our old record just like we did last year! We've seen our friends at other conventions try to make things easier for some people to attend their events offering payment plans with tickets or run discount schemes and we wanted to do something in the closing stages of pre-registrations to help as many of you as possible to be able to attend Auto Assembly this year and be a part of another record-breaking year. So what are we doing?

Well, between now and 1st August 2013 when pre-registrations close, we are now offering all tickets for Auto Assembly 2013 at a reduced price of anything up to 20% off! For just two weeks, we have slashed the price of full weekend adult tickets by 20% making them just £40! Youth and Eldery passes have also been dropped in price to just £30 making it even easier for you to afford to get to the convention! But what about those of you who are only able to make it for a single day?

Well, prices for the one day tickets are also being slashed! Saturday tickets are cut to £25 for adults and £20 for concessions and Sunday tickets are £23 for adults and £18 for concessions. Saturday places are filling up quickly though so we'd recommend that you get in quickly for these! Don't worry if you've already booked as we're not forgetting about you - we're hoping to work on something special for all of you, possibly even an extra discount on Auto Assembly 2014 tickets when these go on sale at this year's convention...!

To get your tickets and take advantage of these great rates before pre-registrations close, head over to the Auto Assembly 2013 Ticket Bookings Page now at http://www.autoassembly.org.uk/auto-ass ... -bookings/

Nick Roche Auto Assembly Sketch List

PostPosted: Tue Jul 23, 2013 12:14 am

After Alex Milne, artist Nick Roche has also opened up a short sketch list for Auto Assembly attendees! You can request yours and find full details on his blog, but we've mirrored the information below.

No time to pretty this up, my darlings: The cold, hard sell starts here!

I'm going to be at Transformers convention AUTO ASSEMBLY in Birmingham on the 10th-12th of August this year (Check out autoassembly.org.uk) where I'll be chinwagging and shilling my way with the sort of swagger that's best given wide berth. For the first time ever, I'm opening up a pre-con sketch list. The sketches come in two varieties and two pre-con price ranges:

£15 for an A4 Black & White HEAD/SHOULDERS shot (10 available)
AND
£55 for an A4 Black & White FULL SINGLE FIGURE shot (5 available)

To be eligible for these, all you need to do is reply in the comments section below, state YOUR name, the name of the CHARACTER you want, and an idea of the day you'll be available to collect the piece. PLEASE only order a sketch if you will be able to attend to pick it up, and, you know, pay for it. The numbers available are as stated above. Once they've been filled, please don't send any more requests unless further slots become available.

So go to it! Sorry there's less razzle-dazzle to this announcement. Thanks so much for taking a punt on this. I'll have more to chat about too, including unveiling this year's set of prints!

I love you all in a very real and invasive way. X

Auto Assembly 2013 Booking Discount - An Apology

PostPosted: Tue Jul 23, 2013 11:30 am
by Va'al
Dear friends,

Over the weekend, I posted a press release offering a 20% discount to any person who opted to buy an entrance ticket to Auto Assembly 2013 between now and the convention. It has since come to my attention that quite a few of our loyal attendees are understandably less than pleased with this, feeling they have missed out through no fault of their own.

Please accept this post as my full and unreserved apology.

The discount was purely intended to be a bonus incentive for those people who were on the fence about coming to the convention or not for the first time; but with hindsight, I now realise that this sadly may have left some of our attendees feeling alienated. This was absolutely not my intention and, having now spoken to the AA committee and numerous attendees, I realise that I jumped the gun a little this time.

As we have said all along, late bookings hurt the convention. They really do, because so many of our costs need to be paid in advance - more than ever this year. But I now realise that my attempts to try and avoid this situation by encouraging bookings now, rather than in the last week, were counterproductive. Sadly, I unintentionally added to the very problem I tried to address! I hold my hands up completely for that. In the words of Optimus; "Sorry, my bad" :(

So, how do we move forwards? Having now spoken to the AA committee (who I wish to thank for their help and honesty at this time), I have decided that the following action is the most appropriate;

1. I am hereby formally retracting the discounted ticket offer. It was, I now realise, unhelpful and has caused some upset. So I firmly believe that removing the offer is the right thing to do.

2. For anyone who has booked a ticket whilst that offer was live, I will honour the price you paid. It is not your fault that this has happened.

3. I will make everyone a personal assurance right now that there will not be any repeat of this situation in 2014. All year, my committee work hard to encourage people to book early for the good of the convention - I do not want to undermine their exceptional work and I do not want to appear ungrateful to those who support us so fantastically well with their early bookings.

4. In lieu of rising costs, we were reluctantly in the position of having to raise ticket prices by £10 for 2014. However, by way of an apology to each and every one of our attendees, I have decided to FREEZE ticket prices at their current levels until 31st December 2013 and beyond that point, a continued reduced level of £55. Once you have all seen the reveals we will be making at this year's Saturday night show you will truly understand why Auto Assembly 2014 is going to be our most expensive event ever.

I guarantee that these reduced prices will not have any adverse impact on the convention although this will mean that the team and I will have to shoulder some extra work, and indeed, work harder than ever, but I think it is the right thing to do to show everybody just how sincere I am with this post.

At the end of the day, Auto Assembly is YOUR convention. Its continued growth and success is down to YOU and YOUR feedback. Bar discount... Swerve's diner... the fantastic new hotel... my team and I have worked hard to make all of these things a reality because of YOUR excellent feedback over the years. Sometimes, very rarely, we do get things wrong. Because we are human and because we try as many different things as possible to improve the show for you. But we will never try to hide behind a mistake. The special offer, whilst made with the very best of intentions, was misguided and I hope you will accept my full apology and then, join me to help make Auto Assembly 2013 the best darn Transformers convention on that planet. The convention which each and every one of your DESERVE for your tremendous support over the years.

Thanks for your understanding. I really appreciate it and truly value your continued support of the show.

Til all are one

Funpub could take a few ideas away about how these guys operate. You really get the feeling they care for the fans, a nice post which i'm sure people will appreciate.

Sadly some of us cant make the night time stuff as we have lives to return to.

I hope they don't have that whole half an hour, pat ourselves on the back, oh look at us were so good for organising this speech again.

Agreed.

Even though AA is something I'll probably never attend as I live on the other side of the Atlantic, I've always seen it as a great convention for TF fans in the UK and surrounding countries.

This quick move to address an issue and to take full responsibility of something is a sign of integrity that is not only rare but I'm sure appreciated by AA attendees.

Yeah, especially after the bad feedback they got about the late discount thing, nice to see this message. Makes me feel better about paying full price too.

Auto Assembly 2013 Pre-Registrations Close In One Week

Another quick note from the Auto Assembly team. Get your tickets here!

Auto Assembly 2013 Pre-Registrations Close In One Week

If you haven’t already booked your tickets for Auto Assembly 2013 then time is running out FAST! You now only have one week to pre-register for Europe’s Largest Transformers Convention online and then after that point you will only be able to buy tickets on the door!

Every year the queues to get into Auto Assembly keep getting longer and longer, and pre-registering is the best way to ensure that you can have the best shot at getting to the dealers tables early on each day and getting the best seats for all the guest Q&A panels! If you pre-register, you can collect your passes from 12:30 pm on Friday afternoon for full weekend ticket holders or from 8:30 am on Saturday or Sunday and then get instant entry to the convention when the doors open.

However, if you pay on the door you will need to buy your tickets on the day and these won’t go on sale until 6:00 pm Friday for weekend attendees (when the Friday night programme begins) or 9:30 am on Saturday and Sunday once the doors open. What this means is that while all our pre-registrants are already making their way around the convention, you could still be at our Registration Desk or in a line waiting…!

So if you haven’t booked yet, head over to the Auto Assembly website now to get your tickets for what is going to be one of the best Transformers fan events of the year! So remember, pre-registrations close on Thursday 1st August 2013!

Hope to see you all in August!
