His sensors were still not well. Something was making them go haywire. Was it Megatron? Megatron didn’t have that kind of ability as far as he knew. Something else then? Probably. Maybe even something harmless. Maybe Wheeljack or Perceptor’s experiments had gone out of control. Maybe. Skids did not want to take that risk though. If he operated on the assumption that the threat was real, their odds of survival would increase.

"There's no way it's a trick," Chromedome said with a huff, "I got the call from Rewind and it sounded horrendous. We can't sit in here, we gotta go get him out of there!"

“If that’s not a trick,” Skids hissed lowly to Chromedome, “If that’s Megatron, that’s exactly why we can’t just rush out there. We’re no good to Rewind dead, got it?”

Skids hoped that would make Chromedome see some sense. Still, they couldn’t stay here. If that was Megatron, they had to go. Now. The knock at the door made Skids jump. The voice didn’t sound like Megatron, but his sensors were still going nuts. He couldn’t trust his senses.

“We’ll go around. C’mon,” Skids whispered calmly, trying to stay cool. He tugged Chromedome away from the door, headed toward one of the doors on the opposite wall. He opened it hastily, glancing out tentatively before gesturing for Chromedome to follow. “Clear. Hurry.”

Darting out, Skids held the door for Chromedome, fully intending to close it to cover their tracks should Megatron find some way to unlock the one they’d entered through.

Whispering, then sounds of faint stepping was heard until there was a sound of a door opening coming from within. They were going out the other side. Odd. Either something had Chromedome and Skids spooked and they didn't trust him, or they had done something they didn't want to face repercussions for. Great. Time to continue the cop job. At least that type of job is what Streetwise knew best.

"Rewind? Hmm, Chromedome did shout that when running through the last room," said Streetwise quietly to himself, "Could be playful banter, but more likely something problematic. Time to investigate further."

Streetwise tried the door. It was... locked? Seriously, these two are making themselves look like criminals.

The cop bot walked around the halls attempting to remember where the other side of that room lead. I could comm about this suspicious activity, but- nah. It could compromise the case.

Streetwise pulled his pistol out again with a sensation that something was lurking about. His optics suddenly became more shaky with the sensation that he must watch everywhere. He pointed his gun downward to avoid anything going wrong, but nonetheless he felt wrong without it. A dark feeling started to come over him. It was as if the Fallen had just traversed these corridors. It was sickening him.

"Chromedome, Skids, come here," said Streetwise with as carrying of a voice as he could. It was bothering him. Pulling at him. Could they be afraid of something... more? Nah it, it's probably something dumb. Then again I'm not one to throw out scenarios. He knew that if was something more, he probably should not be shouting. Then again, it would bring whatever it is out into the open for him to see.

Streetwise picked up the pace as he went down the hall that Chromedome and Skids presumably went down after leaving the Rec Room. "Fellas, you are exhibiting suspicious behavior. Please come out where I can see you." Streetwise's optics narrowed. Keep your hearing receptors sharp, Streetwise, they can be anywhere.

Reinforced steel that had been ripped apart by hand lay at Megatron's feet. He took a step forward.

"You..."

Megatron stopped and turned to look in the direction of the voice. It made no moves to impede his progress, so it was not a factor. He turned again and stepped forward into the room. More security measures deployed but just as quickly died as Megatron's right hand connected with a command console.

"Declarative: this will be an improvement," Shockwave said in Megatron's mind, closing a panel on his chest.

His primary weapon lay....there, stored within another secured case. Megatron approached it, and with the same ferocity that he had ripped apart entire gladiators in vorns past, he ripped the container open and retrieved his primary weapon--the gleaming black fusion cannon that had become synonymous with his ferocity since the earliest days of the war.

"Proceed, Megatron," another imperative echoed in his mind, thought whether it was a voice or something else entirely was not yet clear.

Emerging once more from the room, Megatron saw that the one that had been watching him from before was now gone. Irrelevant. This ship and its occupants were not his task. He turned and walked down the adjacent corridor.

"Well I'll be...Speaking of my Ore-13 research, it seems one of our probes just discovered a sizable amount just east of the planet's southern pole. Seems like Prowl's pet project will need to be put on a slight hold. You feel like coming to this 'Ant-arc-ticah' place with me?"

Wheeljack’s attention was shifted away from the holographic display in the center of the room over to Perceptor who had just received some kind of communique from a probe down on the Earth’s surface. “Really? Antarctica you say? Sure, why not!” The inventor exclaimed as he walked over to the terminal in question and took a look see for himself. “Interesting! That is a pretty sizable amount and over a decent sized area, too. It’s a lot more than just what you and I could handle alone. We’re going to need a team to go with us. And we’ll need a shuttle, too. It’s not a good idea to bounce this ore anywhere until it can be adequately stabilized. We don’t need it blowing up the ship like I do my lab sometimes, right? Heh.”

The mechanical engineer chuckled as he turned away from the console and looked back at the scientist/sniper. “We should probably secure Landmine’s help with this. He’s a miner and has all kinds of sensors to aid us in locating all of the ore. Sidetrack would be another good choice. He turns into some kind of drill I believe. We should probably get a few more, strong mechs to help carry it all. Not sure who exactly, though. What do you think, Perceptor? Got anyone in particular in mind?”

Weapon: Automatic Acid-Pellet Gun
Main Engineering: Deck 2 - Primary Briefing Chamber

It was an innocent question, a query that had infinite possible answers and yet only so few that would ever properly arrive at the ultimate goal. The sole purpose of the classified project, if one could seriously consider it truly classified given how many would ultimately be required for its implementation, was to finally achieve just that. Each member of the project's initial team had proposed many theories, most of which would quite literally fly over the head of the vast majority of the Aerialbots and Protectobots who were being quietly enlisted... if not outright cause their processors to overheat trying to figure them out entirely.

"It entails a great deal of psychological preparation, training and of course an injection of ruthlessness that can only be distilled from the greatest of Wrecker Heroes of lore and legend," Ironfist grinned only briefly behind his mouth guard as he gave something of a cryptic answer to Silverbolt. Instead of pursuing the discussion before he was entirely prepared, he motioned for the Aerialbot Commander to a preferred position just before the lecture dais.

The weapon's designer picked up a remote from the dais and flipped it over in his palm. His optics absorbed the configuration of the information that scrolled upon its smallest screen before he thumbed it to function mode. He pointed the small device towards the primary projection node and brought the entire rig to life.

With a brilliant flash of amber light that flooded the chamber, a fully framed and rendered figure appeared within a few inches of Silverbolt's position. Its intense ruby red optics burning with hate and malice, a palpable desire for unrequited destruction radiating from its motionless green and black form. A massive behemoth of a fist ending only a few centimeters away from Slingshot who had taken a position near the back of the briefing chamber.

"WHAT THE!!!" the sharp shooter snapped as he fell backwards over the last bench, landing unceremoniously on his tail fins. He scrambled up and immediately summoned his rifle and swung it around to the leg joints where he had originally surmised such locking mechanisms would be located. Without hesitation he fired off two rounds that passed through the hologram and impacted right before the entering Skydive, Fireflight and Air Raid... who was silently bringing up the rear. "What!?! Its a fake?"

Ironfist couldn't help but laugh at the sharp shooter's reaction and discomfort at the emergence of the holographic recreation of Devastator, at least something of a scaled rendering of the large Decepticon super weapon. "At least your accuracy is as advertised Slingshot. Right through two leg joints that, if this were the real thing, would have been armored enough to absorb without so much as a stutter step. Course if you had been even slightly off, we'd probably have to hold new auditions for your fallen teammates."

The sniper recovered his poise after a moment and reached up with the barrel of his rifle and pressed it against the edge of the massive black fist that loomed over head. With an muted sigh of relief, the weapon passed through the holographic membrane without resistance. "Shut up," Slingshot snapped as he had his weapon disappear into the subspace holster. "It'd have been your own slaggin' fault if that happened. What in the name of burning scrap were you thinking... launching a program like this without warning!"

"Calm down Slingshot, you're likely to blow a gasket in your intake manifold if you don't. Quite frankly I think that this introduction is the most apropos method for revealing the reason behind your summoning here." Ironfist toggled the image so that it reset to its initial configuration, just after the sensors of the Serenity recorded its initial combination. He activated another sub protocol to create six representations of the individual Constructicon components upon the briefing stage.

Slingshot for his part fumed and stormed down from the back of the chambers until his progress was impeded. "You want me to calm down! How bout I drop a hundred ton fist on your head and see how you like it rusted pile of...!"

Ironfist said nothing under the verbal barrage from Silverbolt's subordinate. It was meaningless prattle that was the weapon of the scared, which was probably why it was as poetic as it was coming from the ground and pound ace. Still, the time was pressing and the facts needed to be divulged. With First Aid and the remainder of the Protectobots not present, he would have preferred to wait. But, then again, First Aid had been present for the initial briefings and hypothesis testing... if anything the Protectobot medic could easily bring the rest of his team up to speed.

"Besides, if this is some big revelation about that big giant's weakness and how to beat it, you're to late. I've already solved that issue." Slingshot jabbed his thumb proudly back into his chest. "We hit it with gravity mines and blast it's knees and joints to bits."

Ironfist paused only for a moment, "You do realize that the most conservative Gravity Mines are typically utilized in Stellar Navy combat correct? At present they are still fairly large in size and would be rather impractical for deployment on the fast moving platform of a mobile battlefield..." With a flicker of imagination dancing before his processor, the designer instinctively rubbed his chin. "However, its not a bad idea for the future and something that can be developed for a more tactical use... once we've concluded what we have started."

Without preamble he motioned to the five present Aerialbots to have a seat in the middle section of the chamber. "The Protectobots can be brought up to speed later, without Hot Spot present... First Aid will have to fill in the gaps when they arrive." He left the details of Hot Spot's deployment under wraps, particularly given he, himself, had few details to offer. Instead he made his way back up the stage and took his place in front of the six Constructicon figures, between Hook to his left and Scrapper on his right. "As for why you have been summoned, the answer is simple... We're going to break convention and truly construct something that can personify that favorite adage."

Automatically the doors to the chambers slid closed leaving the mad weapons designer and the Aerialbots to prepare for the tests that would prove either their salvation or their downfall.

Bounce Chamber Exterior

Silently and methodically, Megatron had stalked his way to the ship's bounce chamber. This ship and its occupants were of no concern to him. His targets lay elsewhere. It was why more than one Autobot he had passed by had managed to walk away from the encounter still in tact.

As Megatron reached for the command console, the screen began to flicker briefly before the doors slid open. Soon after, the screen died and the silver gladiator stepped away from the console and into the chamber itself.

From within the chamber, he locked onto hidden relay signals that he had embedded into every ship in the Decepticon fleet in case of emergencies and isolated the ones that were currently within this sector. He did not understand why, but it was immaterial. He stepped onto the bounce pad and prepared to activate the device. it would be the most efficient method of egress from this vessel.

For one brief microklik, his optics flashed bright red before returning to the iridescent black that they turned just a short time before. And in the next moment, a flash of white seemed to absorb his silvery body and then he was gone.

Skydive watched as a hologram image of Devestator appeared and then a shot from the Aerilbot's sharpshooter came at them. The aim was correct on the hologram but as the resident tech bot Ironfist pointed out, the knee joints probably a bit more plated than the normal Cybertronian.

"Hey Slingshot, do we need to give you a new nickname? I thought Fireflight was our random flying disaster. I'm guessing your optics need a quick check up before we get into this whatever process."

Skydive looked at the image of Devestator and then the six components which made him. If he understood Ironfist's hints, it didn't sit well with him. The recent chatter he overheard between the Protectobots came back and bothered him even more.

"So you plan on building us into a giant mess like Devestator? Have you thought about what this could do to us? I'm no scientist but the strategy of this is questionable at best. We've always done our best as a team using our specialties on an individual level. If Slingshot's idea of mines won't work than some sort of weapon which neutralize one of the components either prior to merger which be best or right after. The ideal targets would be Hook or Long Haul if I understand the positioning of the respective Constructicons. You don't know how we operate as a team nor do you really want to hear our typical bickering beyond what you'll hear in this room. Commander Silverbolt, tell him he is being crazy."

When Kup's optics started taking information in again, all he could see around him was the destruction that lay in Megatron's wake as he'd proceeded to make his escape from the vessel.

The old veteran rolled to one side with a groan of aching joints as well as the fresh injuries that he'd sustained at the hands of the Decepticon tyrant.

He looked over and saw that rewind looked just about as bad as he felt. Having grudgingly got to his feet, he knelt down next to the smaller mech and started to assess his injuries.

"Y'still in there, kid? C'mon...don't tell me ya tried to stop 'im..."

"Y'still in there, kid? C'mon...don't tell me ya tried to stop 'im..."

Rewind’s digits twitched lightly. His visor slowly flickered back online, dimming erratically and going in and out of focus. The small archivist let out a quiet groan as he pushed himself up off the floor slowly, one hand holding his head.

“K-Kup…? Wh…”

Rewind craned his head to look around but froze in pain as his joints refused to obey him. The last thing he remembered…Rewind’s visor went wide.

“K-Kup! Megatron! He! Where did he…?”

Struggling to his feet, Rewind looked around frantically, optics finally coming to rest on the door that had been torn open. A look of horror plastered itself on his faceplate. “By the Primes…We gotta…!” Do what? Stop him? Maybe not, but at least warn everybody. “We have to tell everyone, Kup!”

“K-Kup…? Wh…” Rewind groaned. Kup let out an audible sigh of relief when he did it. He was glad the Slagmaker hadn't added another casualty to his already massive list.

“K-Kup! Megatron! He! Where did he…?”

"Easy kid," Kup started, trying to assist as Rewind struggled back to his feet. He could tell the lad's mind was already going a thousand kliks a second right now. He couldn't much blame him.

“By the Primes…We gotta…! We have to tell everyone, Kup!”

"Yeah....yeah. We gotta. Gotta get word to everybody," Kup said, trying his best to make sense of this mess. "You do that, I'll go check the ship and see if anyone got injured during the escape. I'll meet with you back here in a breem or call for assistance."

"Yeah....yeah. We gotta. Gotta get word to everybody. Do that, I'll go check the ship and see if anyone got injured during the escape. I'll meet with you back here in a breem or call for assistance."

Rewind nodded with another force to re-snap his neck. Pressing a hand to the back of it, he winced behind his mouthplate. “Roger that…” he muttered. Turning away, Rewind began to set up a broadcast channel like the ones that Blaster used. For now, he’d isolate it a bit. Just so as not to create panic. So…so…how to isolate. Magnus needed to know. And those aboard the Ark-22.

The Guardian wasn’t docked, but the Trion was nearby. He didn’t want anyone from those boats panicking, but if Megatron had jumped over to one of them…Rewind shuddered to think of the consequences. And Chromedome…Oh primus if Megatron got to him…

>>Hey, Rewind, are you there? Where are you? If you are busy it can wait.<<

Rewind flinched. Rosanna. Right. Okay. He needed to tell everyone. Discretion didn’t matter when his comrades’ lives were on the line.

>>”Rosanna, where are you?! Nevermind. Megatron is loose on the Ark-22. We don’t know where he is though. Get someplace safe. Now!”<<

Terminating the transmission, Rewind opened the channel to all Autobot ships registered in the system.

Without waiting another second, Chromedome followed Skids out the secondary door, signaling back towards the blue and red theoretician to close the way behind them as they took off down the adjacent corridor to the one Megatron was supposedly still in.

"Just a little further!" The mnemosurgeon called back to Skids, his feet racing beneath him while his panicked stated followed in a similar manner. If something's happened to Rewind... No, can't think about that now, need to get there before the grief settled in.

Wait, that sounded like-

"Rewind..." Chromedome gently murmured as he jumped through the threshold of what used to be a door frame, his amber visor fixated on his conjunx endura. He rushed to the archivist's side, not even taking note of Kup standing nearby "By the stars, are you alright?"

The list continued to scan through Perceptor's specialized aperture. Ironhide would be an excellent candidate but his signature had teleported off-ship, most likely busy with other matters. Brawn could be a good candidate, though his signature was last pinged on the Guardian.

"Well I read Railway is in the Med Bay currently. He seems like an adequate choice for hauling material in and out of the area." The scientist/sniper turned his attention back to his viewfinder, the stream of information still pouring through.

Kup had made a preliminary sweep of the vessel and thankfully found noone who had sustained any injuries, certainly not the kind one would expect from someone who had just crossed paths with Megatron. Hearing the emergency transmission go out, Kup heaved an internal sigh of relief. The whole hive had just been poked now. This was an all-hands-on-deck emergency.

True to his word, the old soldier headed back to the holding station where Rewind still lay. At least Chromedome was with him now.

"Rewind...By the stars, are you alright?" Chromedome said to his conjunx.

"Yeah, he's gonna be alright. Not too many 'Bots I know stand in front of the Slagmaker and get to walk away. Rewind's a tough 'un."

Skids merely nodded to Chromedome’s assertion that it would only be a bit farther. He glanced back when he thought he heard someone that sounded suspiciously like Streetwise behind them. Well, hopefully he would be safe with Megatron roaming about if it was him. If it was Megatron, well, all the better to put more distance between them.

As an announcement buzzed through the emergency channel, Skids paused a beat before rushing to catch up to Chromedome. That had been-

"Rewind..."

Rewind jerked as Chromedome entered the room, thinking for a moment it was the Slagmaker back to finish what he had started. His visor widened with surprise, joy, and worry when he saw his conjunx endura. Chromedome rushed over and Rewind turned to him not sure what to say. Kup made it easy for him.

"Yeah, he's gonna be alright. Not too many 'Bots I know stand in front of the Slagmaker and get to walk away. Rewind's a tough 'un."

“Hah,” Rewind finally managed, “Not sure about that…but Domey, why’d you come?! It’s dangerous!” He shook his head, “Nevermind. You’re here now. Thank you.”

Glancing to Kup, Rewind rubbed his chin. “The alert has been sent out, but what do we do now? We need to figure out where Megatron went…should probably stick to large groups despite covering less ground…”

"You said 'Megatron'? Why was I not informed... No matter. Serious issue indeed. Kup sir, I suggest full lockdown of the area as well as all other nearby Autobot bases. We need to find where that slagger went, and we can't have him showing up by surprise at one of our other locations."

Kup's gaze shifted from one end of the corridor to the other, halfway expecting Megatron to come around the corner at any moment and finish them off.

“The alert has been sent out, but what do we do now? We need to figure out where Megatron went…should probably stick to large groups despite covering less ground…”

"...huh? Oh. Good, yeah. That'll get the ball rollin' to make sure noone else gets hurt, though...I gotta admit it's only a matter of time with that madmech on the loose again. But, y'know what's strange? Somethin' weird was goin' on with him. He was rantin' crazy slag all the way over here. Just like.....well.....guess it's kinda pointless to keep it quiet. Just like Prime."

Kup sighed in frustration. He couldn't make sense of it. But he supposed that was a job for smarter 'Bots.

"But yeah, we gotta find out where he went," Kup said, pushing himself off the wall and walking over to a terminal. "I'm sure I can pull up the security footage."

"You said 'Megatron'? Why was I not informed... No matter. Serious issue indeed. Kup sir, I suggest full lockdown of the area as well as all other nearby Autobot bases. We need to find where that slagger went, and we can't have him showing up by surprise at one of our other locations."

"Yer informed now. If that's not good enough, take it up with Hot Spot. He can take it up with Prowl or Magnus. Decisions like that are over my head, kid," Kup responded to the Protectobot, not overly concerned with procedure. Ultra Magnus had obviously wanted the transfer kept quiet for a reason. "But you're right, we need to lock this ship down. With that alert out, I'm sure everyone else'll do the same. Can you do it from here or do we need to go to the bridge? Eh, nevermind. I'm the fraggin' security officer. I should know how to do it..."

Kup's answer was sufficient. At this point however, Streetwise was not up for getting offended at lack of communication. Current situations required attention more direly.

"Sir, I can handle analyzation of security footage if you would like to sort out lockdown. I know, security is in your job discription, and I am a detective."

Streetwise then looked at Rewind,

"...and, well, if Rewind is up for it, he could be handy as well."

Kup looked over at Streetwise and nodded quickly before moving over slightly so that the Protectobot could share the terminal.

"I brought up the first camera feed from this corridor. Megatron went that way and then turned right. You'll have to pick up from there," he said, before turning his attention to the command panels. He began entering the security codes he needed for access and then waited.

His panels were silent for a moment before chiming and changing color, signaling he now had access. He transferred his control panels over to a holographic control board and stepped away from the actual terminal so that he wouldn't have to crowd Streetwise.

"Good t'see these old actuators ain't lost all their old skills, heh."

Perceptor’s Lab

“Well I read Railway is in the Med Bay currently. He seems like an adequate choice for hauling material in and out of the area. I'll get to work readying what gear we'll need as well as acquiring a shuttle for us. Why don't you head to the med bay and see if Railway is up and about. Meet you in the Hangar when I'm done here.”

Wheeljack nodded as he listened carefully to what Perceptor was saying. “No problem. He turns into some kind of train I think. Yeah, he’ll be perfect for hauling however much of that ore we find down there. And I might also have another ‘bot in mind to join us: Hot Rod. He’s been really down on himself lately after the whole Fallen fiasco. Might do him some good to be involved and get his mind off of things. Anyway...”

>>”Everyone! Attention! Megatron broke free from his containment on the Ark-22! His current whereabouts are unknown! Take extreme caution!”<<

An emergency comm from Rewind suddenly filled his audios. “Megatron?! Here?! And he’s loose?! Seriously?!! How? When?!!” Wheeljack exclaimed as he looked back to the scientist/sniper. “Seems I’ll be hauling aft down to the med bay. You be very careful, as well. See you soon.”

And with that, Wheeljack turned and quickly exited the lab. Without delay, he transformed into his modified New Stratos alt mode and raced down the corridors towards the med bay, keeping his sensors attuned to anything out of the ordinary, such as a really pissed off Deception leader.

Medical Bay

Wheeljack barely gave the doors time to part as he zoomed across the threshold and into the med bay, sparks flying as his sides scraped the edges of the doors. His tires screeched as ‘Jack came to a sudden halt. “I made it,” the inventor muttered to himself as he transformed back into his robot mode. He then quickly scanned the room until he found the mech he was looking for.

Railway,” Wheeljack spoke aloud as he approached the medical berth where the train-former was lying down. “Railway, wake up, it’s Wheeljack,” the mad scientist continued as he gave the big mech a gentle nudge. “Perceptor and I need your help on a new mission planetside. You feeling up to a little adventure?”

"Railway, Railway, wake up, it's Wheeljack."

Railway's internal systems kicked backed to life as his audio receptors registered his name. Wheeljack? What was going on? Was everything okay? He felt a small and gentle nudge against his arm's internal sensory package.

"Perceptor and I need your help on a new mission planetside. You feeling up to a little adventure?”

"Wh-Wheeljack?" The bulky mech murmured as his optics flickered back to life, sluggishly rising up from his medical berth. "Sure thing buddy, heh, the fresh air might do me some good..." Railway looked up to see the red hue of an alarm-light flashing coinciding with the wail of an emergency siren. "So what's up with that?"

Corridors

“Not sure about that…but Domey, why’d you come?! It’s dangerous!” He shook his head, “Nevermind. You’re here now. Thank you.”

"That's why I was worried!" Chromedome rebutted. The mnemosurgeon brought his hand and cupped the side of Rewind's helm gently. A surge of reassurance ran through his circuits, he was just glad the Slagmaker hadn't done anything to harm his conjunx endura any more than Hex had done.

"If he's gone right, he might be making his way towards the hangar or bounce chamber. If we're going to lock things down, we need to ensure each of those are sealed off. Otherwise we're going to be trapped in here with him..."

Main Engineering Deck - Primary Briefing Chamber

((OOC: Nudging Ironfist and Slingshot along for the time being))

"I'm afraid we're going to have to skip some of the formalities here and get right to business." Ironfist began as he pulled up the combined data sent between himself and part of Jetfire's team. "Gentlemechs, how would you like to be inducted as a staple in Cybertronian history?"

An awkward silence filled the chamber.

"Does being the best shot this side of Luna-1 not already count?" Slingshot was quick to brag about.

"Not exactly," the weapons engineer shot back, "Since there at least two other Autobots who can match up to that. And that's not even taking into account specialist teams, any of the Wreckers, Decepticons... Whatever, not my point. Today, we have the potential to knock the Decepticons down a peg or two in the field." He tapped several keys and brought up the holographic display of Devastator everyone had been studying prior.

"As we know, the Decepticons have created the first known Gestalt outside of Jhiaxus' old studies. However, they also need six members to properly operate that beast of a mech they call 'Devastator'. I've got the relevant data and the necessary hardware needed to not only give us our own combiner, but one that will fight just as- if not harder -than the Constructicons' latest project, all while doing it with one. Less. Mech."

"You-you're not suggesting..." Slingshot stumbled over the idea.

"I think he is..." Silverbolt added. Ironfist held himself in the silence as he built up his selling point.

"Project: Superior Titan is ready for its final test, all I need to know is if you're ready?"

"That's why I was worried!"

Rewind smiled beneath his mouthplate, leaning his head lightly into Chromedome’s hand. He lightly pressed his own to it. After a moment had passed, Rewind took Chromedome’s hand and looked to Kup and Streetwise. He glanced up to Chromedome.

“When this is over, a cycle or two away from danger and death might be nice,” he joked lightly to him before considering their situation.

“Can we check the bounce logs from here, Kup?” Rewind suggested. “If Megatron bounced out, it could give us an idea of where he went.”

"I brought up the first camera feed from this corridor. Megatron went that way and then turned right. You'll have to pick up from there," said Kup.

"Thanks Sir. Hmm, I would guess that he would want to exit the premises. Megatron would be wise to. Though, this war would be over if he was too wise."

As Kup stepped away from the panel, Streetwise stepped up to investigate. Odd. The mech seemed almost as if... Sleepwalking at first. Then, at other times he seemed precise and delicate. Odd for the fragger.

Flipping through the panels, Rewind and Chromedome added some of their suggestions and comments. Along with some huggy buggy things. Eh, all that mattered was tracking the fragger down and knowing where he had gone. Though it didn't take a detective to figure out that him leaving via the bounce chamber to a location meant that he went to that location. Something Kup could obviously do himself.

"Well, Megatron most likely did bounce out of the ship. Via the closest camera to the bounce chamber I can access, I can tell that he entered that direction. Odd however, I expected... I expected another camera closer to be active..."

Streetwise danced his fingers on the buttons in fast motion flipping through logs and video feeds to finally find some cameras offline.

"Huh, alright... I see the closest actual cameras near to the bounce chamber are offline. At least... Seemingly..."

The cop paused, and then said, "If we cannot confirm nor deny that he entered the bounce chamber by camera feeds, the only alternative options are to obviously go down there and see the carnage and follow it and see if it ends there, or to check the bounce logs and see if the last destination was a normal one, or a location not commonly entered by mechs aboard this ship. Who knows? Maybe he warped to some Decepticon base and we just got clear coordinates to them. Primus knows that would be a good change of luck for us."

Kup nodded. Chromedome's thinking was solid. Now that Kup had done a rudimentary sweep of the ship and hadn't come across any more injured mechs, they definitely needed to make sure that the ship was in fact locked down and that Megatron wasn't roaming the halls somewhere.

“Can we check the bounce logs from here, Kup?” Rewind suggested. “If Megatron bounced out, it could give us an idea of where he went.”

"Probably so, but it's not lettin' me. Fragtastic tech. Just when I was doin' so good, heh. I'll just hafta do it the old-fashioned way."

He then looked over to see what progress Streetwise was making.

"Yeah. Sure fraggin' would," Kup muttered, reaching for his hip compartment and retrieving an unsparked cygar. He flicked the activator and popped it in his vocalizer. Mmm. That's the stuff. "Alright, looks like this job needs a volunteer. And since it's right up my alley--I volunteer. I'll check the bounce chamber and be back in a breem or so. Or not, heh heh."
