Some of you might have noticed that I've changed my name from TheMuffin to Zuko and have created a new sig to match. I've done this because I've recently discovered the show Avatar: The Last Airbender and I think it's one of the most well made cartoons of my lifetime. One of the defining features of the show is it's soundtrack. The only problem being that the only place you can listen to the music is in the actual show.
Having spoken with The Track Team (the creators of music) on myspace I've found that the release of a CD is out of their hands and solely in ours, the fans. What this means is we have to convince Nickelodeon to release on OST. So I have taken it upon myself to scour the Internet and find any reasonably active forum pertaining to Avatar and pleading with fellow fans to sign the petition I have created. If any of you are so inclined then please click on my signature and sign. If you've never seen the show and would like to hear a sample I have also provided a link directly above my signature.
Working with over 6 other forums we've collaborated and collected as much info and contact methods as possible. Below are alternate ways to contact Nickelodeon if you would like to be more direct. Below you'll find all ways of contact and also a formal letter that can be mailed to Nick to have your voice heard.

Dear Nickelodeon,
This letter is in response to the lack of an officially released soundtrack for Avatar: The Last Airbender. The show is a major accomplishment in animated programming, and the orchestrated tracks that accompany each episode are an equal accomplishment and deserve to be published in an uncut compilation. The soundtrack would be a wonderful way of enjoying the program when it is not being aired on television and I think many fans would jump at the opportunity to buy a copy. I also believe it would be equally worthwhile to release the soundtrack alongside the DVD’s of season two and beyond.
Sincerely,
I thank you all for your time and hope to see some signatures! If you have any questions please ask. Also. If you know of or are a member of other forums beside the following:
AvatarSpirit.net
BlueSpiritGirl.com
Distant Horizon Forums
IMDB
The Avatar Portal
Dongbu Feng
and would like to post this there, by all means do so. I'm no longer alone in this endeavor but you can never inform enough people.
