Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Is this an upscaled TR Megatron or a downscaled MP Prime?

Here's one I did back in 2014 that I'm still fond of and I don't think I shared here:
I took it right after I'd obtained and fitted a left pec and foot for my ROTF Leader Optimus, who was missing said parts when I found him at the thrift store.

This is nice.
Like the G1 folk helping fix up Movie Prime. Never seen Magnus being used like that before. :O
IronhideTFX how do you have these awesome skills? Are you in a visual effects kind of job?

Aw shucks.
Nah, all self taught. I used to sell cameras, then got one and wanted to really wanted to learn how to use it. And from there just absorbed Youtube tutorials for years. Followed heaps of toy photographers and studied equipment/techniques.
Ended up doing a distance learning photography degree.
Looking back on it, all of this was so I could take better Transformer photos! Haha I have been a fan since 1984!
ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Regarding that use of Magnus, it's the repair base mode from his Diaclone and Japanese instructions. Not quite as fancy as the one on Optimus, but putting the unloaded launchers on the ends of the large robot arms as repair beam projectors still works well enough.
Carnivius_Prime wrote:I didn't know that. Guess Hasbro didn't care for it enough to put in the instructions for us. But then they also didn't bother putting instructions that show that the top part of Studio Series Jetfire (his head, upper back, arms) turns into a huge frickin' gun for Optimus to hold when wearing the rest of Jetfire as backpack and boots and that's like brand frickin' new.
ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Well, not entirely new.
But yeah, instructions have always been hit or miss on Hasbro's end. In the case of the repair base mode being omitted from Magnus' instructions, I think they left it out on purpose because it was a Diaclone holdover they had no regard for (while an annoying decision, there's at least thought involved there). Leaving out the BFG from the Studio Series Jetpower instructions... That's just plain sloppiness. Someone familiar with the movie would most likely be able to figure it out because they'd know there should be a BFG there, but it's still a dumb thing for Hasbro to do. I suggest writing to them with a complaint.
