You know, I was about to correct you before I saw what you did there. Also, funny story, I once had dinner with Lance Henriksen. I wont tell you which of these guys I am to not spoil the mystery but Mr Henriksen is the older gentleman.

I've just now realized I could finally give Stratosphere the space shuttle he was denied all those years ago:

I really wish I could find a Mindwipe for a decent buck, he looks amazing. Plus one of the cleverest ways to incorporate a cockpit in robot mode that I've ever seen on a figure. Plus I loved his crazy-ass Strafe colors.

Mindwipe's an awesome mold, though I kinda feel like he's an accessory to Skystalker instead of the other way around. Granted that's probably because Skys is my all-time favorite TF mold.

I'm surprised they went with a Strafe repaint and not a (Cybertron) Soundwave instead. They totally could've done a Ratbat out of Skystalker to go with. In fact I'd still take the Ratbat even without Soundwave, and a dozen other Skystalker repaints for that matter.



Playing with these figures reminds me of how much I miss the pairings RotF Voyagers sometimes did. And the Scout Class...

The ROTF-line was great. Period.

Still love Mindwipe and its fellow Olivecons.

Suggested/inspired by craggy's comment on the piledrivers 'looking like postboxes' (which is true), and the running line of mistaking Ravage for a dog (it's a cat).
