Bay ripped off his own movie...

Alright, now I'd be the last person to bash Michael Bay...but this is...interesting? I'm watching Armageddon on TV right now and...there's this scene that closely resembles when that S7 agent in the first movie revealed Megatron. Except it was a space ship instead of Megatron.

Then right after that, the same song plays that plays in DOTM when Sam is looking for a job. The EXACT same song with a similar filming style. Taking clips from different occurrences and putting them together...not in order.

And then they go to a place that looks just like the Autobot base in the beginning of ROTF.

I'm sorry, but this was just too obvious to keep to myself.

He does that quiet often actually. Here's a video that shows the footage taken from "The Island" and used in DOTM.

No, it really isn't a big deal when it saves money, yet makes billions in return. More directors should as efficient and cost cutting as he is.

YES, what is or is not considered a BIG DEAL is up for each of us to decide for our own.So it is a matter of opinion.

It is 10-15 seconds of a scene in a movie that's 2.5 hours long. If that's seriously a big deal for people, then their priorities are screwed up. Big time.

No one should have an opinion of a 15 to 30 second clip of film as inconsequential as this.

I'm sorry but no, it's not.

Also you should be aware that the scene were he lifted footage from The Island replaced the footage were that woman was badly injured during filming. But if he'd used that footage you'd still criticize him of course.

10-15 seconds or 10-15 hours, it doesnt change the fact that considering itor not seeing it as a BIG DEAL is a matter of opinion.

And everyone should have an opinion about everything, to suggest other wise is not only ignorant in nature, but it advocates for future ignorance to prevail

Wow. 10-15 seconds is that big of a deal for you? You get this argumentative and confrontational over a clip? Wow.

Oh and my personal favorite:

I suggest you go back and re-read my post.

I never said that I give the slightest crap about it, all I said is wether or not its a bid deal is up to each person to decide for thermselfs.

man, so many people have comprehension issues these days.

re-read everything bud, you might lean something.

the info he cited was never in debate nor was it the issue, it was his judgment of me, saying I would criticize Bay for useing or not useing a segment of footage.

I NEVER criticized Bay for useing this or any footage what so ever. His posting that was indeed an attack on me because I was never criticizing Bay for anything in this topic. All I was saying is that if someone felt his re-useing footage is a "BIG DEAL, then thats their opinion.

so, if anyone needs a break its you, seeing arguments where there are none.

*looks back on all the posts* You and I had a "dialogue". You and Capt. Failure had a "dialogue". The common thread in all of this is you. On top of that, you bait with "you might learn something" I want to learn nothing from you. There is nothing I want from you to add to my life. You are in no position to tell anyone anything. I'm seeing arguments because you're poised to fight, just waiting for the right word to set it off. I'm not having any part of it. I'm done. Enjoy.

You and I had a "dialogue". I and Capt. Failure had a "dialogue"....and in both, my statement was the same.

The right to see the issue as a BIG DEAL is open for everyone to choose for them selfs. Its their opinion.

I baited no one with my suggestion that "you might learn something", I stated it because you obviously failed to comprehend what was posted. You may not want to learn anything from me or this situation but you do need to.And it appears I am in a position to teach you that everyone has a rigfht to their opinion.

Your seeing arguments because you're needing confrontation.Your reply here proves that.If your "done here" as you say, then have a good night.

"ad hominem"???and what do you call your little "jab" stating I would criticize Bay for useing this or any footage?

How can I be wrong when all I said was that everyone can choose for themselves?

the only thing thats "pathetic" here is your poor reading/understanding of what I was saying.I made no claim to how I feel about this or any footage usede.

"Argument over"????.................what argument, you had no argument, only a series of ignorant statements.

Good night.
