Not exactly shocking news to most Transformers fans, but apparently this is a question that reporters ask director Michael Bay on a regular basis. Megan Fox will not be appearing in Transformers 4. Michael Bay and former Transformers star Megan Fox may have mended the fences of their professional relationship, but she will not be making any sort of return appearance in Transformers 4. E! online posed the question to Bay during a recent red carpet event for his latest film Pain & Gain. His response:

It's the same [world]," Bay clarified, explaining that 4 will not be a complete reboot. "You have the three movies, but there's a reason why there's a new cast. And it's explained very clearly when you see it, and it's going to feel natural. So it's not like we're starting over or anything like that.

Have no fear Fox fans, she has returned to the Bay family and can be seen as April O'Neil in the director's upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action film.

Thats a shame. I actually liked her as a better actress than the one that played Carly. Don't get me wrong, both seem to be vapid in personalities and bad actresses, but you really can't blame them both when you are filming a movie about giant robots from outer space and spend 70% of the movie filming and showing human problems such as impressing your parents and comparing epeens to can impress the girl that is far out of his league.

Oh thank deity. Her only "talent" is being kinda pretty, so she has no reason to be an actress.

The More I hear about the TMNT movie, the less likely I am to see it....*sigh*

I don't see why people expect anything more than eye candy. I could care less what bimbo they use as long as they have one. I'm among a rare breed of people who enjoy explosions, potty humor, and hot women in action movies. I don't analyze acting skills because that's boring and movies are supposed to be fun. Let Siskel and Ebert rest in peace and enjoy the damn movie. Yo Bay, Let em Burn !!!!

I really don't understand hot or (try to be) hot chicks in action movies.

If they don't kick ass just like the dudes, but are there only for eye candy. Why?

If one wants to see good looking women with few clothes, watch porn. Those women are hotter and show more.

I don't go to a movie to ogle women.

I don't go to movies, the mall, work, restaurants, or any other place to specifically ogle women. But if they happen to be present and worth ogling, why not ? Anybody on this forum would sleep with Megan Fox if they had the chance. But then they come on here and talk all kinds of s**t about her. Exactly what do you want her to do in the movie ? The movie script called for Sam Witwicky to have a sexy girlfriend and she played the part quite well. What would you have preferred in the script ? Maybe for Sam to have a "partner" instead ? Or maybe for Sam to have necrophilia fetish throughout the movie ? I think Megan Fox played her part just fine and I don't associate anything she does in real life with her character in the movie. Hot chicks rule !

Truer words were never spoken in this thread. Personally I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think she did a better job than the VS model did. TF3 was prettier than 2 and the action was more ramped up without the corny kiddy /racial slang slinging bots but as far as acting went it was better in TF2 and TF1. Now if we could only get rid of the pesky humans and focus more on the giant robots instead of the human actors the movies may be better.

You avoided the question. What would you have preferred in the movie script instead of Sam having a hot chick as his girlfriend ? Do hot chicks offend you ?

Oh I'm fine with an attractive actress playing a part. I firmly believe though that they should be able to act, and as I stated earlier Megan Fox's only talent is being kinda pretty.

You can't deny she was still a better actress than the Victoria Secret model that they had in 3. Her whole job was to act scared, then yell at the supposedly baddest "bad Robot" and give him a spine? She didn't even do a good job of being pretty in the movie
