BBTS letters question

Hi all,

On BBTS.com, directly underneath VIEW PRODUCT, there are a few letters that I assume have something to do with grading, or the product itself in some way. Does anyone know what they individually stand for?

R, L, O, S, AFA are the letters, and one of them is always highlighted. Thanks, I couldn't find this info on their site.

Retail, Loose, Opened, Sealed.

I have no idea what AFA is. Available For...something.

AFA is the main authority on grading Action Figures, Transformers included. After a toy is graded, it's stored in a see-through plastic case for everyone to admire without loss of quality.

Don't bother getting any AFA items, as they're expensive as hell, plus they've been known to (mistakenly or not) grade bootlegs and fakes as genuine items of all things.

AFA is the Action Figure Authority, the group that takes figures in pristine condition, seals it in a custom-made plexiglass container and then assigns it a grade.

AFA figures, for some reason, go for hundreds, if not thousands of dollars more than their un-graded counterparts.

more info can be found here.

Sellers demand high prices for AFA-graded items because they have to make back the money they spent getting it AFA-graded! I think the whole thing is just a racket for the AFA to make money.
