I'm very exited for these Classics releases.
Hound looks great, my only problem is the shade of green; it should be darker. I can hear the kids now: "Look! A new Ratchet!"
Definite buy.
Inferno looks good, too. Unfortunately, I think it looks more like Energon Inferno, rather than G1. He should have a ladder or at least a bigger cannon. The one in the photo looks very out of scale with the truck. I would have liked a backpack of some sort, to look more like G1 Inferno. But overall, pretty good.
Probable buy.
Cyclonus is amazingly G1 style, IMO, especially in alt mode. Only problem is his thighs look too thin.
Definite buy.
Starscream: I hope this is in fact the Henkei repaint, rather than a straight reissue. Either way, it's good for those who missed the first release.
Pass, since I have the first one.
(Will we get a Classics Thundercracker in the Universe line? Please?)
Vector Prime: These colors just don't work for me. I like my Cybertron VP just fine.
Pass.
Bruticus: the colors look good, but never really liked that mold.
Pass.
Cheetor: I would have liked a new Cheetor figure. This isn't Cheetor. It looks horrible. The first Cheetor figure from the 90's looks better than this.
Definite PASS!
I would love to see an all new Tigatron in the Universe line, as long as it is a new, good mold. In other words, better than this Cheetor, and for sure NOT a repaint of this Cheetor.
Hmm, 3 or 4 buys out of seven, not too bad, Hasbro!
As for the price, I've noticed Hasbro's Marvel Legends are now 14.99 at Target. Not good. Not good at all. I'm afraid if this price increase includes Transformers, I will have to limit myself to buying characters/figures that I just GOTTA have, rather than every one that grabs my attention.
Therefore, just X-Men and TF Classics 2.0 characters for me, from now on.
