I don't see the need in recoloring the tips on Classics Megatron. They fit since he is suppose to be a Nerf gun.

I gotta admit, I'm liking this Classics figure more and more now that I own him. He's perfect in height to be a stand-in for the Alternators line if you're inclined to accept Alt Prime over the Masterpiece figures.

I agreee the more I see my Classic Megatron the more I like him as well but in my case I didn't recolour the tips I simply removed the orange caps but to each their own. Either way he looks great its just in my opinion he looks better without the orange caps.

I can accept the nerf gun design and orange caps.

I don't understand why the scope is not removable as well...

and the gun is too small..... for an adult hand...
could have made it more grip friendly for a variety of
hand sizes, not that hard to do yo!

Action Master Megatron is by far the coolest. I dunno why nobody mentioned him, he's definantly the best.

I'd say my favorite Megatron is G2 Megs. He was my first Megatron as a kid, and he's pretty badass. Megatron completely towered over Prime. Even though I had way more Autobots, with G2 Megatron and Trypticon, belive me, the Autobots were outnumbered.

Even though G1 Megs isn't the best looking or most rugged TF, I like him a lot. I recently got the reissue and he's pretty nice. His robot mode isn't spectacular, but his alt mode is nice looking. I was also really excited to get this guy as he usually goes for a lot higher than I paid for, and I got one of the most sought-after Transformers without breaking the bank, because normally I wouldn't afford him.

I also love Transmetal Megs. He's not the greatest toy (it's disapointing that his turbines don't swing horizantally like they do in the show) but his character on the show made up for it. I remember being really excited to get him. The original BW Megs is cool too, he's pretty big and has some cool features.

Classics Megs deserves an honorable mention, but he's not the best. When I got him, it was cool to finally own a gun Megatron, but the novelty has worn off since I now own the "real" G1 Megs, and have MP-05 on its way. Also, the colors just don't look good, they're very garish and clash like many late G1 and G2 figures.

I think they put Ninjas to work designing it.

Meg with a alt Tank mode again, I really really think
that it would not be hard to make him a triple changer
and also becomes a gun.

or a combination of Meg & Shockwave/blast

He should be able to combine with Shockwave like Prime and Magnus did in the RiD line to create a super rifle.

Classics Megatron, properly painted, would have a wide array of articulation, proper bulk, durability, and a solid design.

As it is, it is limited by its color scheme. It's mildly disappointing Takara never made a variant.

hell yesss that would be AWESOME!!!!

TM2 Megatron. He'd be worth it even if the dragon didn't transform. Several female friends of mine like posing both him and his repaint Cryotek.

Armada Megatron comes in second. I liked the more-than-meets-the-eye aspect of this seemingly simple figure, especially when it came to combining him with Tidal Wave.

G1. Extremely realistic alt mode. Comes in third only because the robot mode, honestly, did not look very good.

Well if you look at beauty as circular. Then extrme beauty and extreme hideousness must overlap at some point. This point is G1 megs in bot mode. Ugly, but beautiful.

personally, my faves are G1, G2 and TM megatrons. They just look awesome and they feel like true instruments of pure power and destruction

Geewun Megatron.

He's a friggin assault rifle!! He's nice and shiny, and has enough diecast in his handle to pistol-whip those who prefer Action Master Megs (just kidding!) Also, the amound of thought that went into turning a pisol into a robot deserves bonus points.

Second on the list is WSTF Megaton - how the made a mini-me version that transforms just like the original I don't know.

Although I've got used to a Tank Megatron, no version has had the 'wow' factor. If only that Abrams BT-esq drawing made it into production. Sigh.

I really wanted to see that happen, as well.

I'm gonna have to go with Beast Wars megatron 10th anniversary or the dinosaur Cybertron megatron.. i kinda prefer teh Cybertron Megatron Tyrannosaurus simnply due to the paint scheme, he is badass!!
