Again, Front Paged, yadda yadda yadda.

I'm looking forward to this, as I love his work.

Some of those seem odd choices. :-? Well not so much odd as they don't read well as single issues, there's a lot of complex backstory and context to most of those multi part arcs.

Love his old stuff, but the IDW G1 stuff is empty. Really disliked Stormbringer. The Dreamwave G1 writers had a much better grasp of the characters.

Using the ruthless Dogfight as a rookie when his Triggerbot companian Backstreet would have much better fitted the bill?

Plus most of the Autobots just come across as being generic good guys (and complainers).

I mean I was a longtime fan but the last few years, I feel he's losing his touch.

I agree with you, Windsweeper. I used to think Furman was awesome, but the more I read his stuff, the more disappointed I get. Yeah, the DW guys definitely understood TF's much better. I think Furman is so wrapped up in all the garbage he created from religion to sub-factions to sub-groups that it now becomes apparent that he didn't get the concept in the first place. He only understands his little alternate universe for them.

HARD question here... which of those UK issues have NOT been collected in teh TPBs released a few years ago? I'd buy this if I knew it had contect that I couldn't find elsewhere.

Also, is TF Tales from the BW "Ground Zero"
from the Dreamwave Sumemr SPecial?

No, it's from the BotCon convention comics. 1997 IIRC, but someone may remember better than me...

Wrath of Guardian / Wrath of Grimlock weren't reprinted by Titan.

The characters and creator details seem to fit, but it's definitely called "Ground Zero".

Maybe "Critical Mass" is a text story or similar?
