Profile: Prior to the start of the war Black Shadow reaped a living by hiring himself out to the highest bidder. In order to keep full of energon no job was beneath him. Soon he found himself working for a very tight-nit group of Cybertronians on a regular basis. He remained on the payroll, for vorns until his employers received word of an underground group that was using illegal Gladiatorial combat to pool interest in the newly arrived cartel. Black Shadow was once again called upon to see to it the group did not gain any more support.
Black Shadow arrived at the location and once he gained entrance, through violent means, he made his way into the arena and became witness to Megatron’s call to join what would soon be christened the Decepticons. The speech struck a nerve and without hesitation Black Shadow plowed through the assembly to stand in front of Megatron. Lowering his head, Black Shadow took to one knee and pledged his unrelenting allegiance to the faction.
Now Black Shadow is known to his enemies, and comrades, as an all-around vile scumbag. He has no respect for the life of others; he treats no one with respect, with the exception of his immediate superiors. He is a ruthless warrior who finds sick pleasure out of watching the weak cower before him. Cries of mercy only invoke cruel laughter as he simply replies by burning them to ashes.
Abilities: In jet mode, Black Shadow is capable of pinpointing and enemy from miles away and zeroing in on him in seconds. His Dark Shroud blankets his form allowing him to blend into the shadows. This enables him to move about nearly undetected. He enjoys using the ability to move in close to his enemies in order to strike them down without being seen. His Shadow Gun receives its power from the electromagnetic spectrum, more specifically the visual spectrum. The weapon absorbs light from the surrounding area creating a darkened aura surrounding Black Shadow up to 75 feet. Black Shadow can reach escape velocity enabling him to travel between planets.
Weaknesses: Black Shadow is a powerful warrior but not as strong as he’d lead his enemies to believe. He prefers to pick on those weaker than him. If a worthy opponent should arise he may find himself outmatched. His Dark Shroud is limited in that it can only be useful when there is very little light.
