Any of you guys seen a review up/or know somebody that is planning on making one for the Reflector 3-pack yet? And if so could you please be so kind to let me know? :D

Been checking u-tube and whatnot myself, couldn't find anything so far.

Managed to buy the set online and of course I looked up some images online first before I bought it, watching an actual review is part of the :michaelbay: HYPE :michaelbay: that comes with waiting for my package to arrive! =P~ :-D

ty for reading :CON:

I know it's only been a few days since Botcon ended, but the lack of reviews on the toys is a little strange.

Normally with new toys like these, people are rushing to be the first person to post a review.

Indeed, in the years before this one there were reviews made and posted up from hotel rooms during the event. I did find one featuring Terrorsaur and Tarantulas, so that's a plus at least. ;)^

Random but related question:

What brand or what type of clear nail polish do people use to protect chromed parts? I haven't opened TM3 Megatron yet, but touching up, polishing, and sealing the chrome is the first thing I want to do when I remove him from his bag.

I thought floor polish would be better for that, almost creating a wax like layer on a car. Couldn't it be polished as well in the long run with a microfiber cloth?

For me sealing his the most important part - I don't want any chips or flakes on such an expensive/sought after/objectively awesome piece.

Normally I just polish with a standard eyeglasses microfiber cloth. Don't need a special material for that.

Would a hobby clear work better? Tamiya is a brand often tossed about. I feel like clear nail polish would be too thick. Just me though, I have no experience protecting the chrome.

A couple people have mentioned acrylic floor polish. Tamiya is also a name thrown out there a bunch - I've used their product before, but never clear coat. We shall see...

Thanks Crams!

Video Review - BotCon 2016 Souvenir Figure Set Reflector

Postby no-one » Mon Apr 18, 2016 6:07 pm

Howdy fellow Seibertronians, have you have enough of BotCon 2016 yet? YouTuber peaugh has shared a video review of one of this year's souvenir figure sets; Reflector. Peaugh compares Reflector to his mold mate Shockwave and even shows how to form the hotly debated "camera" mode.

Now that you've watched the video; what do you think of the set? How's the head sculpt? What do you think of the camera mode? If you missed this figure set, are you going to pay aftermarket prices to get one? Sound off in the discussion below.

Remember to keep your browsers pointed to Seibertron.com for the latest in Transformer news, the largest Transformers galleries found on the web and the liveliest Transformers discussion this side of a space bridge.

That's nothing. Megatron was $89 and he's topping off $600 on the secondary market right now.

Historical precedent is that Fun Pub keeps prices on the club store exactly the same as at BotCon, unless they've decided to bundle previously unconnected toys together.

Well snap, I stand corrected! I guess I was looking at the "not originally bundled" figures.
