This really is... ugly... It only looks vaguely like Swoop because it is a Pteranodon.

Over priced, robo ball sack and that alt mode. Good thing FT know what they are doing

All this needs is a slight waist extension + beak reduction, which should technically eliminate the weird crotch problem and regain waist articulation.

It doesn't really look that bad, design-wise.

It's a lot closer to the 1985 toy design. Than Hastak has managed to get with all there newer Swoop toys.

Looking at the Sculpt. It is possible to make the beak shorter. The Problem is,the mold might already be close to the mass production stage.

If Everyone wants the beak shorter. Than they need to send the company a message quick,as it might already be too late for this.

Ha ha, I kind of display my Masterpiece Grimlock with Classics, too, even though I usually hate mixing Masterpiece and Classics. Of course, for the Autobots, I don't really have a separate Masterpiece shelf. My two Masterpiece Optimi are on Optimus shelves, My Masterpiece Rodimus is with a few other Hot Rods, and that just leaves Grimlock.

And so, I put the Masterpiece Grimlock on my Classics Autobot movie/post-movie shelf, while the Classics Grimlock hangs out with the pre-movie Classics.

(I suppose if I had a whole group of Masterpiece Dinobots, it'd be different. But to be blunt... I'm not shelling out for theoretically four of 'em at third party prices.)

This test shot actually looks really nice. I'm not into FT's take, and the other company doesn't strike my fancy either.

But this - already in scale with MP Grimlock, which itself is in nice scale with Hegemon? I don't know if I'll jump on the FP Dinobots or not, but if I were looking for G1-esque Dinobots for Classics instead of FOC-styled ones, I would totally go with this.

found this video very helpful in deciding to buy this or not. Didn't like the extra beast legs as it's not G-1. Hiding the robot arms in beast mode is nice. But it created more tiny parts and panels that ruined the robot torso. as it's more unstable and is prone to fall apart much easier.

Having the beak so long on the robot mode ruins it. Should get fixed and made shorter, Probably won't. Beast mode also looks awkward with the long beak.

It looks very G1, almost to a fault. If I collected Masterpieces I'd possibly spring for it (although I'll wait to see what the FT version looks like). But it's a bit TOO G1 for my liking. Kinda preferred the less...square body on Caeleus.

Looking nice! I'm getting a really cool "retro toy" vibe from this guy- there's something about the heavily detailed surfaces with the chrome. It looks like they did the chrome really well too- it's properly shiny and has a good colour to it. Also good to see it scales well with MP Grimlock if you care about such things.

I'd like to see them do the other Dinobots. I'm still not keen on the whole "brick with wings" look but at least he actually has legs.

Forgot all about Bullsfire doing a MP Dinobot Swoop. Speculating they'll try to do Four or Five MP Dinobots.

We've got Fanstoys, Giga Power and Bullsfire all doing MP Dinobots.

Curious about Bullsfire Swoop, So i'm going to watch this video review.

Out of the Three, FT is creating Dinobots in the style I like.

Just got done watching the Video review. It's a impressive figure.

Positives, Like all the chrome, Love how the robot arms can hide in Dino mode. Having the robot sword form the Dino tail was pure genius. great job on having those Dino claws on the middle of the wings. toy looks like it has a medium fun transformation.

Negatives, Don't like how long the Dino beak is in robot mode. can't believe they created Faux dino feet that are located on the robot knees. putting too many joints in that robot head makes it loose and floppy. Those two rocket launchers are oversized.

When I get a 3rd party MP Swoop, It's going to have the blue robot chest. Not because I care about toy or cartoon accuracy. Just think the blue chest looks better as it breaks up all that red on the dino top part-hat beak.
