Capcom’s Motohide Eshiro wants to see Clover Studio’s cult PS2 hit God Hand turned into a series. Expressing his love for the title, the producer said it all “boils down to demand”.
“I personally am quite the fan of God Hand,” he told Edge Online. “I thought it had really dynamic gameplay of focusing not on blocking but on constantly dodging and moving. It was really fun and refreshing, and it would be great to see that turned into a series.
“Once again, it boils down to demand – how many people want it, what kind of ideas we have that would be fresh and make it worth exploring again, and we could come up with a plan that could fit the users’ needs and the market’s needs at the time. But once again, it really depends on what the appetite is for it.”
Like Ono with Darkstalkers 4, Eshiro suggests you mail Capcom if you’re really interested in a sequel.

I for one, hope it comes through.http://gematsu.com/2011/04/capcom-producer-wants-god-hand-sequel

There's a lot of Capcom games we want sequels to. Considering how Capcom "handled" the Blue Bomber in Street Fighter X Tekken, as well as cancelling Mega Man Universe and Mega Man Legends 3 (The latter of which people have been wanting for well over a decade) it might be a while before that franchise gets attention any time soon.

On the other hand, Okami sold like live cockroaches (It was also, along with God Hand, one of the last games made by Clover Studios) but it still got a sequel, same with No More Heroes. Hell, War for Cybertron was a commercial failure, and the reviews were "It's okay" at best (As opposed to Okami, God Hand, and No More Heroes getting "It's Okay" reviews at worst) and it's still somehow getting a sequel. So, anything's possible.
