No, I just haven't clicked the email yet. I'm way behind on so many threads. I'm a slacker. I just looked up the red bugger at BBTS. That is a cool figure and I remeber either seeing it there or on a thread elsewhere.

I posted it in the 3P threads as well, so it's possible you saw it there.

And I feel ya with the catchup emails. Once went 4 weeks without checking the notifications, that was a mistake... took 2 days to actually catch the whole way up

and it does look really cool! though I think Overlord is the star of that POL

Holy cats, YOU HAVE MORE BOTS THAN ME TOO!!

When did this all happen?! I feel left out. Or maybe you just have more on display and I still have more. :-?

Regardless, that's a lot of bots. Some I didn't know about!

Who? Little ol me? Yeah, I got a lot of **** and I don't always shout out my new **** acquisitions. I've given up on the haul thread months ago.

And back at D to the Max, I regularly go a month or so on threads now and usually I open the thread via the email then close the thread and just try and keep up from the next update notification.

Other than buying **** I don't know if I have the time or the willingness to keep up with this hobby any more.

I'd rather just shoot the breeze with like minded people about all sorts of random things, but the rigidness of the thread format kinda stifles that. But I've found other ways to keep up with folk... :SMUG:

At least with me, I don't pack bots away. Every single one is one display.

I feel ya there. I'm just glad I have you guys, I don't know anyone in my area that actually is into this hobby at all. there are others I talk to that are in to similar things, but no TF fans.

Word! Maybe I should join social media outside of Instagram... Maybe

There is definitely some collectors in my town as New stuff is zapped up as quick as its spotted. There are a few people who actually post to the LA sightings in my town as well. I'm friendly via that thread with one, but it's never gone farther then "yo I found a bot and hid it in x location" and vice versa.

New Orleans has quite a few more that actually meet up, you've probably heard of at least one of them (seibertron Podcaster). Again I've never met any of them other than said Podcaster at more than botcon.

I wouldn't mind more face to face collector time though.

All my figures are out in one form or another, currently my to maybe sell pile is scattered on the bottom two long shelves on the right of that one pic. There are also to not sell on those shelves as well. My room has been a dump spot for bulk storage fore quite a few months and I'm just getting around to cleaning it up a bit, making room and starting the ebay process.

Sixy ;)

I already have this mold in QS flavor and it's easily one of my favorites molds of this line. It's a lot of fun to transform between modes. Normally I don't like seeing characters have more than two modes just because of the whole jack of all trades thing.

Sixty-niner here really owns this mold and his colors are way more pleasing than QS. Probably only Greatshot's deco is sixier.

All the negative ls you've heard about loose knees and hips are very much true. Cool dynamic ninja poses are an act of frustration.

Here is one of the few times the gimmick is as fun as advertised. The really only weak mode is the wolfenstein. It's just a little awkward and the neck sticks out weird. This is one of the few times G1 wore it better.

Fun and attractive figure that's worth the price of admission even at full retail ;)^

That is a great find! He's alright, but the looseness did let him down for me, though I learned that later releases had tightened joints, so :(

But I'm glad you enjoy him! I prefer Quickswitch some, but Sixshot's colors are dashing

Brought FoC Jazz and TM Overboard to work today, cause they were close in color. Lesson to be learned is to not edit pics on my phone. The screen is totally different than my PC and I forget they added a blue light reducing thing to the phone recently. See here.

That light piping yo!

I really like this mold, sup will all the WfC/FoC figure hate anyway? :-?

I have the revision figure with the actual working light piping. Kinda got lucky with that one. Jazz is by far the superior use of that mold. Sideswipe doesn't tab together as well in bot mode which makes the head sit funny low in the body. SS does come with a badass gun that is similar to OP's default weapon the Path Blaster in the games. Hell it may even be called that.

WfC OP was borrowing it for quite some time.

The fall of cybertron toys were definitely a little low on plastic and actual weight, but they had some good molds in there. Jazz is on my G1ish shelf, considering he had that body in IDW for a bit and his look is so cool. FoC had some great character designs!!!

I also have Optimus for the fist truck, the Ruination combiner complete with upgrades, Soundblaster as my G1ish Soundwave, the cassettes minus Laserbeak (whom is represented by TR Laserbeak), and Grimlock. and I love Grimlock.

You know what? I think Grimlock is my least favorite of the WfC/FoC figures. I'm not sure what it is, I'm just always super disappointed with him :(

I miss those figures though. Some were complex but they were reaaaaaaaaaaaally nice. Shoulda just stuck with that line. Everyone was a deluxe. It was great.

Nice to see that mold get some love. Seems like there is a lot of hate for that figure and line in general. Everyone complains about the plastic and weight. Me I don't like die cast, so I don't get the whole weight thing. I get the thin plastic argument, but I don't have hams for hands and have never broken a figure. I've seen a few stress marks, but that happens even in what people consider "good plastic".

Anyway, I got a chuckle out of how much praise the RID redeco of the FoC Grimlock mold got.

Now lets talk about Linebacker Prime, now that is a nice figure; with weight, shiny slick plastic and one hell of a transformation. I like Bee too and I get the complaints, but damn he looks so good in both modes. ;)^

itscramtastic wrote:Shoulda just stuck with that line. Everyone was a deluxe. It was great.
Yup :-P

I love them seekers too and I'd like to get Ruination, just to have those molds represented on my shelves. I don't need another Bruticus especially when the CW version is so strong and just plain baller (as itscramtastic would say) ;)

I might have to fire up one of them games when I get home. Those are fun games to just blast through. I used to think FoC was the better game, but then I replayed WfC. Both are good, but in different ways.

Honestly I forgot why I now feel that way about WfC, but I remember thinking that FoC has better/more interesting level designs because they were designed to accommodate a specific bot. Maybe WfC has tighter shooting mechanics?

What say you fine folks? What's the highlights of each game? Which is your fav and why?

The FoC combiner molds are definitely weaker than the CW ones, but they are good in the standard Bruticus configuration, not so much in the reverse. And the Wreckers are cool since they have all those extra weapons... and finally a retail Impactor (even if it is really not a good mold). And a really cool Xaaron combined mode head.

The upgrade kit makes a huge difference too. Ruination is an actual good combiner with the upgrade kit.

Boo Grimlock. I'm just not a fan. No one can touch Reximus Prime in the Grimlock department, forever

Which one is Linebacker Prime, the first or second version? I had both, only have the second version now, and he is simple but he works. Bumblebee is nice in the deluxe and legend version, pretty sure I have both for sale though

I had Bruticus but I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally didn't like how cheap they all felt, and they really did. No where near the quality of any of the other figures in the line. I'm not sure how it happened or why it happened quality wise, but I'm definitely glad I sold them off. Actually, I just gave them to my nephew, didn't even sell them!!

As for the games, whichever one I play last is the one I like the most. It's been years since I've played either.

So I'm not the only one to like the FOC molds? Interesting. I had Shockwave, Jazz, Blast Off, Brawl Magnus, Air Raid, Grimlock, Soundwave, and Sideswipe and the only two I didn't like were Brawl and Sideswipe.

Jazz in particular was awesome. He was my first actual Transformer (my true first being an Animated Activators Bumblebee), When I got him back in 2012 (I was about 11 at this point, I think) I played with him so much that, within a year or two, his knees had no friction whatsoever. A few months ago, I had to put glue dots in the ratchets for him to be able to even stand.
