Me and Cryhavok exchanged a few PMs on this subject over the weekend and this is how he pretty much explained it to me. Basically the way I see it is the Autobots are more of cohesive team with Ironhide in charge and command assignments being given out depending on the situation.

Players are not allowed to just assume NPC ownership of characters without Mod permission. I thought this would be a common knowledge rule but apparently it isn't so I am specifically stating it now.

My apologies to you all for not posting in the last few weeks, but I will have to take my leave from the RPG for a while. My father is dying of cancer so I have been spending a great deal more time with my family leaving little time for role-playing. Besides not having the time, I have little motivation to put in the effort to make a quality post. I'm very sorry. I hope you all understand. I'll return to the game when things settle down a bit. Until then may you and all your loved ones have good health.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that too... I lost my own dad to cancer, so I have some idea of what you must be going through.

Hi everyone. I'm interested in taking part in the RPG again, if that's alright with the higher-ups. I'd be interested in playing Ratchet, but I realize he's being NPC'd as of late. Dev, Ember, Cry, and Hardhead (I believe you're NPCing Ratchet), if either of these is a problem, let me know. Thanks!

Hey Armour. I was only NPCing Ratchet as a means of advancing the plot, so feel free. It'll be good to have someone playing the character afterall

Sorry for your loss. Last year i lost a Great-Aunt, (Who was basically a third Grandmother,) to cancer. It really sucks.

On a brighter note, I think we could use a guide of TF anatomy/biology, language and culture. I've been looking into the subject and would love to help. (Don't worry, I could keep it IDW-centered)

Hey all!

Is it possible to get an updated list going of whom is controlling which character and who is NPC'ed. It seems is if a lot of characters have been lost recently...NPC'ed...ETC.

I'd def want to pick another one or two up, if the right character was available.

Example: I haven't seen anything for Starscream posts for a while. That is an important character and I think I could play him well.

Just want to check up and see if we can get moving a little faster.

There is a list. The Canon Roster list is current.

I was reading through some of the character applications and noticed that Tidal Wave had been rejected because he was "out of [the RPG] continuity." I would presume that would be true of Wreckage (a movie character), unless there's a "backdoor" around this.

Also, I'd thought I'd ask if Sixshot was available.

The guys listed on the canon roster are the ones available. We can make some other G1 characters available within some limits. Sixshot would be a bit too powerful for what we are doing now.

Are we still stickin to no fan made characters?

Do we just determine our stats or are there posted stats for characters?

Fanmades will likely be open shortly but there will be restrictions on them.

Stats from the tech specs can be found in the site's database. The additional stats not listed on the tech specs are determined by the player and then approved by the mods.

There are no plans for a 'shattered glass' rpg.

Please no sigs in RPG areas.

could someone read over my application for soundwave and tell me what they think?

any pointers or suggestions are welcome.

Also, do you think changing the alt mode to armored police communications truck will be acceptable? there is a link to a picture of it in the application.

Also do we have to use the pre-written bio's or can we make our own? i rewrote it, but kept most of the facts the same, i just tweeked it a little to put a personal spin on it.

The pre-written bios don't have to be used. They are kept for reference purposes.

In a recent (locked) thread the idea was brought up of having an RPG for fan base characters only. A whole seperate entity from the REAL game.

I am for this. Of course everyone wants to see their own transformers in an RPG, I'm dying to get mine in the Primary game. I think it would be a good idea to have a fan based thread as well. It may garner more interest for the RPG while we wait to get a firm foothold in the Primary one, like the old days when I used to post two or three times a day.

If nothing else we could use a Fan-based thread as a 'minor league' so to speak. New players can hone their skill in a fan-based one, get used to the format we use, and then be successfully integrated into the enw game. Seems productive to me.

I understand that would be a lot of work, so I would volunteer to MOD it if necessary. I could come up with a basis as early as Monday if needed. Let me know what y'all think. I justw ant to see this game succeed and get back to the glory it was once at! Thanks!

In my opinion the rpg threads here are way too concieted for their own good. if anyone has interest in a fan thread pm me.

I feel as if the mods have to have it their way or no way at all, so i'm done trying here.

If the mods relaxed a little bit they might have more players, but i don't think that they necessarilly want more people playing.

Also had it been posted not to start new threads i wouldn't have. I didn't mean to be rude. I was trying to start something for the less experienced players to learn with. You guys seem to be running a more intense rp session than some people are familiar with.
