Yes it is

it was confirmed by Nelson on S4TE in his "Who is your favorite TF vehicle so far?" poll he has up in the news section. And it was also confirmed at the SEMA Event in Vegas a while back

and also at the 15 minute preview thing during the Lockdown scene when he captures Prime and Tessa (not on purpose) and Mark tries to save her Shane (Jack's character) tells him not to because Lockdown will kill him and i don't mean he said "that transformer will kill you" he said Lockdown's name so it appears that Shane has some knowledge on the transformers before the movie and that Shane and Rally are like the new Sam and Bumblebee except their relationship will not be seen on screen.

he also has a toy listed as of now Rally car

We know that the rally car is a TF. We just don't know who he is yet except that he was apparently called "Rally" on set.

Okay, the Rally car is a Transformer, cool. Thanks for letting me know, I wonder who it could be? They have been able to keep a pretty tight lip about the identity of "Rally." Is it plausible that it might be Evac, you know from the ride?

Could be but at this stage i doubt it because the most up to date toy listing with most of the real character names still had Rally car although it could be they are trying to keep the Sonic's name a secret

but he could be an original Bay character like

Dino

Que

Crowbar

Hatchet

and others.

The Sonic Rally car is an Autobot right? My ultimate pipe dream would be that it is Moon Racer or something. I feel the off-road theme could go with her character. but yeah, its probably just going to be an original character.

Seen with Autobots once ( i mean once in an open location might be more footage of it in the closed off filming)

Driven by the main human cast and chased by government vehicles.

So yes Autobot.

We had a very brief clip last week from the New York International Auto Show 2014, showing off some of the Chevrolet vehicles appearing in the upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction movie. Thanks to YouTube channel The Vintage Car Show we get an extended look at the three vehicles on show: 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray and the Sonic RS, the first two respectively Bumblebee and Crosshairs in the movie. Check it out in the video embedded below, which also includes clips from the Chevrolet Age of Extinction promotional ad, showing the vehicles in action alongside the Chevy Trax SUV, as the mass-produced Stinger character.

2014 Chevrolet Camaro - Bumblebee
2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray - Crosshairs
Sonic RS - Shane's race car
Chevy Trax - Galvatron's allies

How can you even tell? A lot of the shots we it from are from very bad angles to even look at the driver's seat, and in those that are from good angles the windshield and window are too dim to even get a good look inside.

Image

plus why would it not be a transformer

Its been Heavily advertised

it has a toy (in the lists as rally car)

It was given a code name onset known as "Rally"

So this might be a Bay created transformer.

Dude, you can barely even see the inside of the car in those pics. The windows are too dim to tell either way at all.

Plus, those are two different cars (Shane's is the one on the left).

mirageandjazz1197 wrote:plus why would it not be a transformer
Not every single vehicle in the past three films were Transformers. All we know thus far is that it's Shane's race car.

mirageandjazz1197 wrote:Its been Heavily advertised
Not nearly as much as those who are confirmed to be TFs.

mirageandjazz1197 wrote:it has a toy (in the lists as rally car)
Many lifeless vehicles in the previous films were made into toys. Landmine, Stockade, Stratosphere, Longarm, Incinerator, to name a few, were all based on vehicles that weren't alive.

There is only one sonic

they are both the same car

Hasbro did say only main characters in the movies will be getting movie toys

there are no repaint this time nor are there any toys that are not transformers in the movie.

They are holding him back for a reason as he plays a semi big part in the movie.

Why would Bay have THREE versions of the car while he was filming why does it have tinted windows why is there no one driving it.

Were they talking specifically of the Generations AOE toys or of the entire toyline consisting of even the little kiddie toys?

Dude, real life cars have tinted windows all the time. MY car has tinted windows, for crying out loud.

Where's the proof that the Sonic RS is getting a toy?

For all the toyline Hasbro said so

you know that garbage truck is in the movie as a transformer so why can't Rally be a Autobot that dies early in the movie

Plus Shane (Jack) seems to know a bit about the transformers before the film begins (source the 15 minute cinema footage) so it would make sense if Shane and Rally are the new Sam and Bumblebee

and so far it seems only the transformers have tinted windows that's just what i observed

You still didn't say what the source is for the Sonic RS getting a toy.

It was said at a convention i don't remember which one but it is true as there have been no toys so far for non film characters

I don't have time to search it up i have folks coming over.

you know what here read all 13 pages of this
