CHMS Punch, Scamper, and Breakdowns.

I was poking around the CHMS web site, which isn't that great since I don't read Chinese, and I found a posting with this picture:

Image

Looks to be Counterpunch, Scamper, G1 Breakdown and G2 Breakdown. I'm guessing it's their intent to make these, but I don't know if these pictures are of actual CHMS product, or simply a picture of the real things that they are using as an example.

I'm very interested in the G1 Breakdown, since that's a great toy that shoud be produced, but never was.

Looks like these will still be made. Glad I got the real Botcon Breakdown when I did ... I wouldn't want to sort out the real from the fakes.

I do kinda want Punch / Counterpunch. Kinda hate to say it, as I'd usually go for the legit version, but it's out of my price range for what it is. G1 Brakedown is tempting, I guess. But I don't have ANY representation for the other Stunticons, so I think I'll keep holding out for kind of combiner set.

there's been loads of Dragstrips lately. Granted, the others are currently lacking decent versions, but it could be done. Alternately, you could hope for a Prime Brakedown, who's not exactly the same, but pretty badass nonetheless.

But I don't have any of those :P

I know I COULD make a Stunticon team were I so inclined. Seibs posted a good set in the galleries with Shadow Commander's gallery. But, as with the Aerialbots, the Constructicons, and the Combaticons, it's all about the combining ability for me. Botcon Breakdown was the lone exception mainly because of the history behind Botcon Breakdown and his garish colors.

Of course if this rumored FP set consists of add-ons to make those non-combining toys combine I'll just freakin' kick myself for never having gotten them. But, given their track record, I'm going to bet against that and hope it'll be a wholly original combining team.

CHMS Sideswipe head choices:

Is Punch/Counterpunch just one piece?

It looks like an exact copy of it's botcon counterpart, so it probably is a single piece with a flip out helmet like the G1 toy as well.

I'll be hopefully receiving my DIY CHMS kit this week, so I'll be able to verify this if no one else confirms this 1st.

They have an all-Chinese page at a social media site called weibo.com, which can only be viewed if you join, but it's free. The biggest problem is all the login pages are in Chinese!

I'd be down for the Breakdowns but I'd hardly call that Scamper. A C Clocker with a new head however...

I once bought CHMS Clampdown, a black repaint of Sideswipe. It fell to pieces the second I tried to transform it. I am extremely hesitant to get this mold again because I don't think CHMS takes enough care to get a complicated mold like this to work right.

That Deep Cover was made from thier first do-it-yourself attempt at making a kit from Sideswipe, painted up and sold as a finished toy. The mold fell apart and was scrapped. This is a completely new attempt after over a year's experience improving with the Starscream and Powerglide molds, so I'm eager to see what parts of the QC have improved. I agree, there is a LOT of improvement that could be done from that first one. They basically come apart if you move them.

If that's the case, then it's promising. However I shall await reviews before I jump on board

Buyer Beware! KO Botcon Breakdown, Punch and More.

Looking for a Botcon exclusive G2 Breakdown? Exercise caution. CHMS is at it again. Using the Sunstreaker/Sideswipe mold from Transformers Universe, CHMS has previewed 4 new KO's including the Transformers Club Exclusive Punch/Counter Punch, Botcon G2 Breakdown, a G1 Breakdown and Scamper. No word yet on how to distinguish these from the authentic figures, so when shopping, consider the source.

This is good news, so long as they don't try to sell them at 'con exclusive prices!

So Awesome!!!

I can finally hope of owning x3 punch/counterpunchs for my display without having to shell out 600+ dollars on ebay!

That g1 breakdown deco is also a hell yes!!! gettign 2 of those bad boys will look great next to dragstrip!

Such a simple redeco, hasbro could have done...instead hasbro would rather give us skyshadow and an ugly ass wreck gar repaint....tsk ...tsk..

And the icing on this awsome news is SCAMPER! who will look great next to my G1 metroplex!

It it's a G1 Classic Breakdown, it's not Hasbro. They didn't make one.

That was to reference the authentic figures. I'm aware, that Hasbro never made a G1 Breakdown, I'm sure most people are. Thanks for sharing this with us BTW!

It's pretty obvious Scamper is a KO as there is no Classics version for him. I would be interested in Scamper and G1 Breakdown myself. W/ the closing of KOToys I need to find out where to get these figures now. Would still like to get my hands on a KO Wildrider and if there is one, a KO Dragstrip.

IT"S NOT SCAMPER YOU DAFT PRICKS! IT"S DEEP COVER!

I know, I have 2 of them :p One in robot mode, and one in car mode, I think I seen a review on it.

Breakdowns just a custom, and the others seem to reference photos, as P/CP has the Fansproject cannon.
