Thanks, Down Shift. I just tried it, and it works just prime (no pun intended).
:D

Doesn't fix my problem with the waist when I'm transforming the figure; I've got to admit however that it's every bit as much me as it is how tight the piece that comes off is.

I doubt that it is, goven its international-style packcaging, but if it does see realse in th US, than to go with it... Prime, maybe. Magnus and Skywarp, though, no. Hasbro wouldn't risk ticking off Target by mass-distributing an exclusive like that.

Target had exclusive sales of a two pack, not of the individual figures. If Hasbro wanted to, they could release the single figures tomorrow. Im sure they have good enough lawyers to handle anything like that anyways :P Besides, if they were to be released in wave "four" that would be quite some time after the release of a two pack that deffinatly won't be a shelf warmer.

Haha, I just bought this set today. I finally broke down and bought it. But it was the Prime I wanted and not the megatron. I personally like the look of this prime more than classics prime. It looks more traditional g1. I don't play with my toys so it makes no difference to me if he's floppy. The only thing I don't care for is the weak transformation, his alt mode sucks. But eh, better than nothing.

Got the two pack. No need to get this one.

Clever. But pointless. I like both figures anyway.

Still not mass released in AUS, so I'd kill for it, same as Jetfire.

Since I'm more interested in the Megatron anyway and the I'm unlikely to see the two-pack unless it turns up randomly in The Entertainer or something (like the CostCo Armada-to-Energon "Prowl" vs Starscream pack did), I'd snap it up if he got a UK release as a Deluxe.

The 2 pack is already in Argos and should be getting a wider release soon.

--EDIT--
Or think, since now that you've mentioned it I remember seeing it. #-o

you know, i just wish for a moment, that the cheap..Optimus prime repainted Ultra Magnus was actually an almost accurate Ultra Magnus figure!! I'm sooo tired of seeing repainted primes that are simply dubbed Ultra-Magnus!!! Its not fair, remold him, update him, but don't go cheap and repaint Optimus Prime over, and Over, and Over, and over again....we have enough repaints to buy with the seekers... could we not have the same issue with Ultra Magnus?? I want Hasbro tot do a fully posable and show accurate G-1 Ultra Magnus Classics toy, instead of the friggin repaint of classics Prime..Not that its bad, but come on!!!

To try and break up the negativity, the UB set grows on me more and more. Not the biggest fan of Prime, but in general I don't like Prime or his figure incarnations. When I first got the set I really just wanted Megatron, and then he fell out of favor and then regained it. I mean, these figures are what they are, and that seems to be cheap figures thrown together for the sake of either an exclusive release or as marketing tools. G1 Megatron was a gun, so original Classics was a gun, but original Classics Prime is less G1 like than the 2 pack Prime. I don't know. Just an observation with no real point included.

That trigger thing is a great trick. Its better then haveing cardboard jamed in his back.

I don't own the 2-pack yet, but if Optimus were repainted like Magnus and repackaged with a car carrier (see where I'm going with this already?) as part of the Voyager-class would it be more in-scale as a true Classics Ultra Magnus?
