What's the best way to clean them? Especially older G1 figures that might have lost that gleam on the chrome, or clear sections that you want to touch up.

I'm curious to hear from some of the experts here....

thanks in advance.

Pledge has an oil base. I wouldn't use anything with an oil base on toys.

A cloth for cleaning DVD's. If there's a lot of dust, I use a wet rag on it first.

I take a fresh moist baby wipe and squeeze excess fluid until it's just damp, then I work it into every nook with the help of a Q-tip guiding the baby wipe into every crevest. Time consuming but works like a charm.

Every g1 toy that I have bough either online or elsewhere I have taken apart as much as possible, soaked them in warm soapy water and then scrub with an old toothbrush and rinse clean. After I am sure all parts are dry I reassemble.

Ditto and some cotton swabs for those hard to reach areas help too. :VEHI:
