Looks good. So why couldn't they make a decent looking Megatron figure?

He's awesome. First non-WFC Cybertronian mode I like. I think I've also realized why everyone likes it so much... NO MECHTECH WEAPON!!!!! Granted, he has a giant gun, but no mechtech! :D

Can you imagine if they do a leader version, that's even more movie accurate, and this one's already so good.
I figured this toy would be good since he's the 'main' and final villian, and hey I think I got it right.

Wow! Easily one of the better Bayverse designs (alongside Optimus and Starscream from my perspective)! It's actually pretty faithful to the original too, such as the hose on his gun arm connecting to his back. :D

Looks amazing, at the first pictures, I was planning to paint it a deeper purple(once I learn how to paint well that is) but then these new pics did it for me!
Hoping the hopeful future leader version will be as good, if there is none then this is a definite buy.

This one looks a lot better than the previous posting. This one is really nice looking in my opinion. So far the only buy for me.

This could might maybe kinda sorta possibly be the only DOTM toy that I buy, but I'm still on the fence about him :-?

OK so I am officially on board for one DotM toy so far.

Alt mode still sucks, but I really like the bot mode, a lot!

And it appears the weapons may either be totally swapable, or it will be an easy mod.

The first round of pictures definitely did not do justice to this. These pics show a lot more of the detail and the color is a lot better. While I still am not a fan of the off-center tank barrel effect, I guess it works ok for this toys particular purpose. The 'Cons are seriously lacking in terms of flyers now so I'm kind of surprised that they went the tank route with Shockwave but since they did, I'm glad they made him a beefed up tank. I'm just curious as to whether he's actually going to be this shade in the movie or if this was primarily done to the toy just to mollify the fans. Regardless of color, alt-mode, whatever, I like his design/role as a movie villain much more than the Fallens design. Very solid, stout looking character.

Looks like a Rocklord (or possibly an Inhumanoid) that transforms into something vaguely resembling a tank.

I really wish I could get into this Movie-verse thing in a way, because the next 8 months are gonna re----al dull when it comes to Transformers.

The more I look at Shockwave the more I like it. Yes it could easily be Megatron but the better lighting in these images brings out the purple, which makes a heck of a difference.

If they DO make a leader class version I hope that they trim his torso a little bit as he does look quite stocky.

I wonder if that segmented pipe from his back to his arm will limit his movement or be easily broken? If you dont like the pipe in tank mode I would think it will come off.

This figure is streets ahead of Leader Bumblebee IMHO.

I like it :D
So far this is the only DOTM character I'll spend any money on.
Only negative - the cannon is on the wrong arm.

What a great colour! Apart from the monkey arms (which I can fix) and the huge tube in alt mode this looks great.

Whoa this is so cool, loving the robot mode, I’m neutral on the vehicle mode because it kind of reminds me of BM tankor. And of course thank primus he is purple, but I mean purple! I kind of wanted more detail, I mean come on this fig has the most detail then any other that I’ve seen from the DOTM line I just wished they would paint the details. :-(

sorry i was rambling over the details :-B

I like the bot mode. If I buy this guy he will stay in that mode. The tank thing is just not working.

The comment about him looking like an Inhumanoid was great! He reminds me of the guy that ran around yelling "De-com-pose!".

it'd be hilarious and still fairly awesome if they cast david warner as shockwave.

Hmm, surprisingly he may fit well with classics. If he really does, he will be a buy for me unless Hasbro made another in generation/RTS line.

Ditto. Any idea if that cable serves a practical function? wiring for an LED perhaps?
