Custom Universe Soundwave

Below are some pics of my Soundwave figure, formerly a Universe Ironhide. He was painted by hand (and it shows in some spots, but I had fun! ) ever since seeing some Don Figueroa art of an updated SW with an SUV alt-mode, and also considering Sir Soundwave uses this mold, I always wondered why no one else has done this. But, as Unicron said, "...it pleases me to be the first."
If there's anything I learned from doing this piece, it's that I'm not hand painting anymore customs. It's fulfilling, but takes too long and has too many steps.
disclaimer: if anyone made this already, or knows someone who has, let me know so I can remove Unicron's quote above.
Bonus: Kudos to whomever can figure out whose head I used in this custom!
Here he is in robot mode. As you can see, I turned his legs around so that they weren't so...empty. The only change In transformation this necessitates is that his waist must be rotated. But he ends taller for it, so that's a plus.
And here is what he looks like with his legs in the normal configuration. I forgot to mention that his feet must also be swapped, but they are on easily removable ball joints.
Here's his potato mode vehicle mode. The paint job doesn't really help it become any less...lumpy.
I made his license plate with a labeler. I wanted to homage the "Play" button on his cassette player mode.
And here is Soundwave with his minion Ravage.
