Awesome more movies ok
1 Michael Bay revive Starscream give him his own team
2 revive megatron and turn him into galvatron
3 Bring on unicron
4 Have unicron planning to devour the earth
and the Autobots and Decepticons team up to defeat him and galvatron
These are my ideas for Transformers 4:Rise of unicron
Dosent that title make your head explode! :BOOM:

Neither Hasbro nor the movie studio is going to want to give us too much of a break with this kind of box office success. Numbers don't lie. This movie is a hit, and hasn't even opened in Japan yet.

I watched a 2nd time today, and was amazed that 3+ weeks later the theater was still quite full for this film. I think the 3D is as good or better than Tron:Legacy, but still not up to Avatar quality.

As for the film, I like it quite a bit. I'll need to rewatch the 2nd film now to see if I like it more than when I saw it in the theater. I hated it in the theater. Same thing happened with Indiana Jones 4, and then I liked it more when I watched it again as I tend to forgive many of the flaws on later viewings. The truth of it is these movies are hell of a lot better than I ever expected live action transformers movies to be. I don't think Bay is a good director, but I think he is perfect for something as corny as making a live-action Transformers movie.

DAAAAANNNNNGGGGG......

That's uber impressive. The Japan thing is really surprising. I thought ROTF made big money, this thing is crazy! Pretty much confirms a fourth movie.

Every movie has some flaws, but I think I liked DOTM the best. All things considered, it worked for me and I didn't even see it in 3D. LOL!!!

I need to find an iMax theatre here in Atlanta. You do still have to use 3D glasses, right?

i know most people are not going to agree with this but i have to say that i was very disappointed with DOTM. i went to see it last night and almost walked out have way through it. I'll admit the new character designs were really cool but that's all this movie had going for it in my opinion. ROTF had a much better story and was overall 10x better than DOTM. by the time it got to the decepticon invasion all i could think was "oh look more explosions *yawn*".

Ok,

But apparently you're in the minority on that opinion, judging by the ticket sales for DOTM. For everyone who agrees with you, there are many many people who've seen it and do not agree. Now, had the majority of people who saw the movie hated it but the so-called Transformer fan boy crowd loved it, we'd be looking at different ticket sales figures. Apparently the move was designed for a more mainstream audience and it managed to achieve doing that in a rather big way.

Dr. Heavy B wrote:suck it roger ebert, all your hate cant stop the people

Taken from Wikipedia:

Roger Ebert gave the film one out of four stars, calling it "a visually ugly film with an incoherent plot, wooden characters and inane dialog. It provided me with one of the more unpleasant experiences I've had at the movies.

Visually ugly film? Wow. Maybe they shouldn't let people who don't have full control of their face critic (critique?) movies :-?

He's blind. Visually ugly? He must be one of the people who thought Avatar looked realistic. The characters weren't totally wooden, but the plot kind of was incoherent...too bad that's not enough to take this movie off my list of favorite movie of all time.

Exactly. You can't argue with the amount of success the film is making, the numbers are right there. I love all 3 movies as a whole, even if all my favorite ones died in the end :(

Ebert needs to be put out to pasture anyway. He's dead wrong on this film. Thankfully, film goers don't base the movies they choose to see on the opinions of hack/critics like Ebert.

For real, what really puzzles me is is spite of his complaints of the Transformers movies he liked Cloverfield. That movie is the poster child of ugly visuals and incoherent plots.

That just lets us all know how out of touch Ebert is. I've never based a movie viewing decision on his opinion.

I haven't seen DotM in about 3 weeks. I think I will do so this weekend. Nothing good is coming out anyway...
