Omitted, since they're using his New 52 design.

So he's free ballin'?

Only on the outside...

...I have no idea what that even meant, and I don't think my brain is allowing me to figure it out.

You have no idea what free ballin' means?

Oh I know what fee-ballin' means. I just have no idea how you would do that on the exterior of an outfit.

Wow, talk about a crappy video. A camcorder pointed at the screen is about as low quality as you can get. He couldn't have shelled out the zero dollars for Windows Movie Maker?

The designs look pretty good, assuming they're legit.

EDIT: And then I look at the author of the video and realize that was you. So...replace "he" in the third sentence with "you."

Looks like a mix between his Arkham Asylum and Dark Knight Returns suits. I'm a bit iffy on the details but over all it looks pretty good. I dig that they're finally ditching the body-armor look that's been dominating the movies since Michael Keaton, though. And Afleck has a way better jaw for Batman than Bale ever did.

I am also looking forward to this now. At 1st I wasn't happy about it, I don't like Affleck much. But I like Bale even less. So hopefully this will turn out alright. As long as he uses a normal tone of voice when he's speaking, his performance should be a least passable. Besides, this isn't a "Batman movie," it's supposed to be a "Superman movie with Batman in it," right? So maybe he won't have much screen time. I still think Gal Gadot wasn't the right choice for Wonder Woman, she doesn't look right. But if they could do this with Affleck, maybe they can make her look good enough for the part as well.

Any word on who will be the villain(s)? Or will the conflict be between Batman and Superman only?

He played Daredevil without going too gravelly, I think he could do the same for Batman.

Lex Luthor is going to be in the movie, so probably him.

Oh yeah, I forgot. But he'll be played by Jesse Eisenberg, so I'm guessing it will be a young punk-ass Luthor, who's just starting out in his evil ways. Doesn't mean he can't be a worthy adversary, I suppose...

In other news, Batman v. Superman writer David S. Goyer is an asshole.

In a related story, Stan Lee is better than everyone.

I really prefer to stay neutral in the whole Marvel vs. DC thing, but when the guy who wrote the majority of the DC movies of the past decade--and all movies in the foreseeable future--says what amounts to "if you know who Martian Manhunter is, you're a virgin" then DC has a serious problem.

The new Batman vs. Superman trailer is out. Looks pretty darn good, though Lex may be a bit of a fail.

If its in the trailer, it's probably not a spoiler. ;)

But yeah, that could be really good, or really bad.

What was Doomsdays origin in the original death of superman comic? For the life of me, I can't remember. There has been so many different versions.....

A bunch of scientists wanted to make the Ultimate Life Form, so they took a guy and kept throwing him out into early Krypton (The kind of place that makes Australia look like Candyland) and when something killed him, the scientists would revive him with immunity to whatever he died from before. Eventually he just started doing this himself, went insane, killed a bunch of the scientists, then started getting tossed around the universe (Even at one point fighting Darkseid, which left Darkseid traumatized and afraid of Doomsday) until he eventually ended up being sealed on Earth until he was woken up by a construction project, as many ancient evils are wont to do.

Was it in the original story that lexcorp woke him up? It would be funny to see how a live action attempt at that full arc would turn out, even just to see if they would handle the reign of the supermen arc. Which gives steel his second chance of being a hero ;) (just with out shaq please)

More than electrical and gas lines should be checked for before digging.

As for Steel, Idris Elba would make a fantastic Steel.

Idris Elba would make a fantastic anything, but being Heimdall takes him out of the running for anything DC. If I remember right, Marvel has a "No appearing in DC stuff" clause for MCU actors.

Ryan Reynolds
Chris Evens
Halle Berry
James Marsden
Natalie Portman
Hugo Weaving
Lawrence Fishburn
Samuel L Jackson
Scarlett Johansson
...............so many more, I dont think that "clause" is real

and Idris Elba did 1 DC film

To be fair sto some of those actors you listed would fall under fox studios instead of Disney like Ryan Reynolds who hasn't appeared in a Disney marvel movie where such a clause is more likely to exist. Also which dc movie did idris appear in?

Ryan Reynolds, Halle Barry, James Marsden, and Lawrence Fishburne don't count, as they never appeared in MCU movies. Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving also don't count because V for Vendetta came out before the MCU even officially started. Chris Evans and Idris Elba are the only two you might have a point with, but the Losers was probably already filmed and done before they were cast.

I probably should have said "No appearing in DC movies from now on." That's probably where you got confused.

did you miss the 2nd to last name on my list?
or can you explain Samuel L Jackson appearing in a dc film?
