Corridors/Alpha Hanger

Thrust half groaned, half laughed as he made his way toward the Alpha Hanger. The energon had slowly been working its way out of his system since he left the bar. The fact he was no longer bouncing off the occasional wall or mech spoke to that fact.

Yep, now he was walking relatively straight. He was also taking every opportunity to tell those he passed how he stared down Offroad, the consequences of which he would worry about later. Besides, they had parted on relatively friendly terms, so he was sure Offroad could take the joke. Probably. Maybe.

“I tell ya, I had him scared. I said, ‘You better back down, dirtpounder, or else!’” he proclaimed loudly and to no one in particular as he entered the hanger. He smiled as he took in the selected Decepticons moving toward a shuttle.

“This is what it’s about. The rush of energon, the thrill of a fight, and the never ending cries of fallen Autobots. Am I right, fellow warriors?”

Most mechs around him turned to give him a stern or surprised look, but he shook them off and continued toward the shuttle. And they call themselves Decepticons. He scoffed at a couple more stopped at the base of the ramp. “What’s there to fear, warriors? The Autobots aren’t worth quaking in your struts.”

He clapped both ‘Cons on their shoulder struts and tried to walk up the ramp. The first step wasn’t bad, but he leaned too far forward on the second one and had to catch himself on one of the two he’d just talked to before making his way up, one slow step at a time. When he reached the top, he smiled at proving himself superior over those remaining in the hanger.

This is why Seekers are the elite. He stopped at seeing Skywarp, Thundercracker, and others already there. “Hey, guys. Any idea what this is about?” His smile remained as he drew closer. Only then did something seem off to him. “Why are you bowing like that? It’s not like Megat…” His voice trailed off as he spotted the slagmaker between the bowing Seekers’ shoulders. “Lord Megatron… I… you… uh...” His processor whirled as he tried to organize his thoughts. In the end, he accidentally did the smart thing and stopped talking and bowed his head in reverence. Then, once he could form a coherent sentence, said, “Command me, Lord Megatron.”

In A Lift Heading For Alpha Hangar

Reaver casually looked over at Flash Freeze. "You know as much as we do, seeker." He remarked.

Feint was checking on his bullets, he was a bit OCD about that, desperately trying to ignore the sensitive seeker. "Which is nothing." He finally said. "We know nothing... just told to report to the hangar." He looked up at the lift stopped, and when the doors opened he stepped out with Reaver right behind him.

Reacer briefly looked around the hangar, spotting the shuttle the rest were gathered around. He motioned towards it and the two made their way towards it.

Flash Freeze stepped out after the two other mechs and followed them. He nervously looked around. Everyone was giving him angry glares because he made the room colder by stepping into it.

Thanatos- Corridors

Amethyst was excited at the prospect of getting a "makeover" to go with her new outlook on her personal life. However, it seemed that a Decepticon could never really enjoy much time to relax and have personal time, really. The cogs of war were always moving, and the pawns had their parts to play in the scheme of the big picture in Megatron's vision....

Receiving the message froze Amethyst in her steps as soon as she had exited the lift. She had heard the voice before, and had only seen the foreboding Commanding femcon once or twice, but it was no mistaking that it was Flamewar. 'What could someone like Flamewar want with a warrior like me? I'm not what you'd call...sneaky.', she thought to herself. Nope....not at all. However, one doesn't question orders, and Amethyst was one of those "loyal subjects". She responded back to Flamewar,

Emotions from the purple Seeker's slate colored face faded and were replaced with blankness. She looked to her newly beloved Redwing and replied to his inquiry with,

"Yes. That was Flamewar. She's a high ranking officer, so you'd best respect her if you see her."

She quickened her step and rushed for the armory, doing an internal diagnostics check first, to make sure her weapon systems weren't jammed. That was the major issue that had always lead to an explosion of some type or another when she didn't check them.

Maintenance Unnecessary~~

Amethyst breathed a sigh of relief. That was good! Maybe if she could go the battle without overusing her weapons there'd be no reason for worry. For now, she opened her cluster bomb hatches and restocked the empty launchers with fresh nukes, then closed her chest panels. She then turned to Redwing, smiling slightly and told him,

"It's time to go!", before running out of the room and down the corridor, back to the elevator. Alpha Hangar was down more. "Come on or we'll be late, and we can't afford that!"

Alpha Hangar

Four large tires screeched to a halt as the monster truck sprang into the hangar. It looked like several mechs had already assembled, but the larger the audience, the better. He revved his engines loudly, somersaulting into robot mode. His next words were twice as loud as the revving, “Brakeneck ‘ere, reportin’ for whatever pigeonface needs crushing!”

He looked over with a jolly grin towards some of the other mechs who had gathered. A few large mechs around with loads of weapons, some random seeker scraplets, the usual. And of course, right in the middle, was the big and mighty himself, Megatron.

Placing his left hand on his hip, he used his right to give an informal salute. “Howdy lord chief sir, lookin’ pretty fancy! Hehe,” He chuckled as he knelt down on his knee to bow to the slagmaker. Other mechs would most likely have looked at him with an edge, wondering how someone could make such a bold statement to Megatron himself.

Corridors/Alpha Hanger

Few things in the universe could make Dessicator hustle or even run. One, was the incoming of a mech relishing pounding him into scrap, and the other was Flamewar.

He couldn’t put a digit on why, but something about her energized his gyros. She was different than the other femmes he’d seen around. Sure, they could fight and all, but she was on a different level. One that he knew he would probably never reach, but he’d try until his aft fell off.

Still, he reminded himself several times as he made his way through the bowels of the Thanatos that this was a mission and he’d have his chance to impress her and the higher ups. Of that, he had no doubt.

Obviously, they thought highly of him to summon him for such a mission. Though, the reason why was lost on him. The more he thought about it, and the more he saw other mechs, including his new buddies, heading for the same area, the more he felt uncomfortable.

He didn’t work well with others. That was why he preferred to work alone. Go in, bomb the scrap out of an establishment, return home. Quick, simple, exhilarating, and without witnesses.

The last was the main reason he worked alone. To other Decepticons, he was a big, friendly mech everyone enjoyed being around. On a mission he was, well, not the same. That was the best way he could think of explaining it.

Besides, if he needed to use his EMP emitter, his secret would be out among the others.

They’d see his true weakness and the need to rely on a simple device to survive in melee altercations.

Not that he couldn’t fight, he just wasn’t very good at it. His imposing size kept most at bay, but if others learned of his weakness, his reputation and spark would be in jeopardy in some future energon bar.

Not how a legendary warrior is supposed to go out, he thought to himself as he stepped into the Alpha Hanger and froze. Oh, for the love of Primus, no.

He didn’t bother counting how many were there. it was too many for his comfort.

He took a half step back and bumped into the doorframe. Impressive. Very impressive, big guy. Who you going to impress with that maneuver?

Dessicator’s self admonishment over his cowardice caused his spark to burn hot enough to recover and continue forward. He just hoped this was going to be quick. Maybe he’d get a cushy spot bombarding an Earth settlement. That’d be fun.

The Cartography Room

Rampage's response was more or less what he had expected. Set out a little bit of kibble, taunt and then voila! Showtime.

“ENOUGH!!! I did not call you all down here so you can fight with each other! Lord Megatron has an important mission for us and we will follow his orders to the letter! Now, control yourselves and act like the elite specialty unit that you are all apart of!”

Divebomb simply smirked at Rampage and said nothing. headstrong had more or less covered what he would've said anyway. They'd all worked together for long enough that such blowups were usually irregular. It certainly wouldn't be Divebomb who knocked the energon cart all the way over.

Divebomb listened as Razorclaw went over what Megatron had tasked them with: namely, the acquisition of more Ore-13. Excellent. The more of that stuff they could get their hands on, the better.

“Now, you all know what pleasant little planet this is. You’ll notice the red dots indicating regions where the substance known as Ore-13 is located and in the highest concentration. Megatron’s orders are to mine this ore for the Decepticon war machine. He wants it done as quickly and efficiently as possible. That’s where we come in. Once I have chosen a site, we will take a shuttle down with a contingent of vehicon miners and we will extract the ore. The more we can recover the better.”

"In addition to the miners, we also were granted plasma and mineral extraction equipment that has been in storage from the last time we raided raw materials from a world. The miners can assemble the technology on site and increase the rate of return," Divebomb said, bringing up a holoscreen and requisitioning the necessary equipment.

“We will also have to be mindful of the local natives. Infiltration protocols are still to be adhered to. Therefore, we will need to don synthetic organic outer coverings in order to blend in and look like real animals. From what I know of this continent, our animal forms are common here. Of course, metal beasts are not something these flesh-sacks are used to seeing even in a rainforest. I know you’re not going to like being surrounded in organic slag, but I suggest you get over it. It’s for the good of the empire and for Megatron. If there are any questions, I suggest you ask them now. Otherwise, head down to the CR chambers and acquire your synthetic flesh coverings ASAP. We will then meet in the Alpha Hangar. All hail Megatron!”

The part about the organic coverings made Divebomb cringe internally. But, like Razorclaw said, he had to get over it. It's not like he was going to challenge any directive that came from Megatron. No matter. The sooner this work was done, the sooner they could reach Phase Five: open warfare with these primitive little flesh sacks. Meaning he could drop all pretense of secrecy and slaughter at will. Sterilize it. Cyberform it. Move on to bigger and better.

"All hail Megatron," Divebomb echoed before following Razorclaw out of the room.

Corridors-->alpha hanger bay

Battletrap received orders from Flamewar about some sort of mission. It wasn't too many cycles ago he came back from a mission with the female Con. Another mission sounded fun to him. He noticed a few others in his group already left in the same general direction. Battletrap decided to split apart and head the other way making a large loop to the hanger bay.

While he waited on her reply, he found his way to the hanger bay. It was the same one where the fight for leadership was held and Razorclaw won with his allies. Once he entered, Battletrap reformed to see the true Decepticon leader alive, the slagmaker himself Megatron.

"All hail Megatron! All hail Megatron!"

Those words which escaped his lips were the only thing Battletrap could think about with his leader alive. Battletrap owed his current existence to Shockwave but even Shockwave knew his place in front of Megatron.


Other corridors

Octane looked at Astrotrain as he mentioned a communication. He was puzzled until he received it as well. To his surprise, it seemed to come from Lord Megatron himself. The thought overjoyed him to believe Megatron was back. This would mean Razorclaw had easily given up the throne to its true owner. Octane quickly followed his fellow triple changer.


"Can it be true that Megatron lives? There were tales being spread a few cycles ago but this will ensure us not following a beast former nor his special team squads."

A Battle Ravaged Corridor

The young golden and purple jet former received the orders, same as many a mech. It seemed that his, as well as Dreadnought's and Dessicator's minds had been made for them, since no one could decide on what to do. That was fine with Hazard. He had had enough downtime. Now that he'd found his brother Doomshot and they'd made "a party" with these other guys, they could all go into battle! Right? To be honest, the orders were a little dubious. However, hopefully he could spray some Autobots full o' lead! With Megatron back, things were gonna get a whole lot more interesting, and the operation on Earth and such could get on their way! Hazard was more than willing to aid in the destruction and cultivation of this planet they'd come to.

"Bro, did you get the orders too? We gotta go....like now!", Hazard said, talking to his older brother. He'd hoped he'd received the orders. He preferred fighting alongside his brother in any battle. Regardless though, orders were orders. He started running after the other two that had started heading towards the designated hangar. He looked back though, looking for Doomshot in hopes he'd be coming along.

'ACTION! EXCITEMENT! DESTRUCTION!!', Hazard thought, giddy with anxious desire to unload some rounds and take to the skies.

"I'm not meaning to be disrespectful to anyone, but thanks for telling me," responded Redwing to Amethyst, "Though, I did seem to recognize her voice a bit." Redwing was referring to Flamewar who called them to the mission.

At that, Redwing and Amethyst made their ways towards their assigned task.




Redwing and Amethyst lined up with the other Decepticon soldiers present. Redwing sighed slightly as he waited to be addressed. He hoped this mission was up to stealth, and not pure luck to survive. He felt a fear that he hadn't ever felt before when going into a mission. He used to be just a seeker who could be replaced upon death, but now he felt actual worth for something. Redwing needed to stay alive for Amethyst, and he needed Amethyst to do the same for him.

Redwing without moving his mouth sent a private comm to Amethyst, just in case it was their last time,

Corridors

"I'm not meaning to be disrespectful to anyone, but thanks for telling me," responded Redwing to Amethyst, "Though, I did seem to recognize her voice a bit." Redwing was referring to Flamewar who called them to the mission.

Amethyst wasn't upset with Redwing. She just worried if Redwing might seem disrespectful to someone, especially an Officer. Doing so only brought about unwanted results, and she didn't want to think too much about the possibilities. Amethyst herself was always courteous and respectful to her superiors and was usually pleasant even around her peers of her own rank, as long as they were pleasant to her.

As they hurried towards the designated hangar to hear about the mission and get ready to depart, all Amethyst could think about was Redwing and also of how pretty she'd look with new paint. She imagined herself and Redwing flying freely in the sky, just the two of them, on a clear moonlit night. Her new colors shone brightly in the light casting down from the moon, which hung over them like a giant pearl, lustrous and whimsical. She laughed, and he laughed, as they spun around each other, bright trails of neon vapor following them like wispy ribbons. However, her fantasy ended as they left the halls and entered into the crowded hangar, and a sense of both fear and of adventure overtook her.

Alpha Hangar

There were many mechs present for this operation. It was curious in that sense. There was Thundercracker, Skywarp, Thrust, Dirge, Astrotrain, Octane, Flamewar, and many she didn't recognize either because she hadn't met them, or she hadn't thought it was important to keep note of them. There though, at the head of the group, facing all that had arrived, was the Slag Maker himself, the Peaceful Tyrant, Megatron. As soon as she saw him in all his glory, the purple and grey Seeker shouted in reverence, "Hail Megatron!", and she saluted him, whilst hip bumping Redwing to do the same.

>>I love you too. Don't worry. Whatever happens, I got you.<<, Amethyst sent back. She meant that with all her spark. Sure...she was prone to blowing up and crashing, among other accidents, but she was just as good a fighter as the next. She had to just try to be more careful now. She had someone she wanted to live for, other than His Majesty.

Synthoplastic flesh covering. Again. Always too soon since the last time. And last time was orns ago. It didn’t make Headstrong any more willing to get the fragging coating. Squishy fleshy goo. Eww. Hardly anyone liked it aside some quite deranged individuals and certain organic life form sympathizers. Headstrong certainly was neither.

“If there are any questions, I suggest you ask them now. Otherwise, head down to the CR chambers and acquire your synthetic flesh coverings ASAP. We will then meet in the Alpha Hangar. All hail Megatron!”

”Eh. Aren’t we like… too big even with synthothingamajig flesh covers to pass as Earth mammals and whatnot?” Headstrong asked after a properly timed Hail Megatron roar as he followed Razorclaw and Divebomb out of the Cartography room. Utilizing mass shifting technology was rare. Usually reserved for special agents or high ranking Decepticons due to the drawbacks of the technology. Namely high energy consumption and release of intense radiation during transformations.

Headstrong really didn’t care for the mission or Razorclaw’s idea of hiding in plain sight but he wasn’t going to challenge the leader of their unit. Had it been any other Predacon giving an order like that, it would have been a hell to pay for the sorry glitch with the bright idea like that.

Thanatos- Corridors

The flying wolf, though a formidable foe, was beginning to bore the white feline femcon. She snarled at him, red optics glowing brightly as she glared at her opponent in the face. She had her blades deployed and ready to slice him up, and more rounds she could shoot off from her mouth, but thinking....what was the point? Though he angered her by attacking her in the halls, he was a Decepticon as she was. Others might tell her not to waste her resources and damage her chassis against an "ally". Better to to do so on the battlefield against the real foe, the Autobots. It angered her and irritated her to think of standing down....but she wanted to have this bout be over. She was wounded and needed to heal and refuel now. She had spent too much against the canine. It made her feel feeble....foolish...and weak. She growled a low growl and backed up, stating through her growling,

"It's done then. I'm wasting my time here with you! Next time you want to pick a fight, do it against an autobot!", Technikiller declared.

She bared her fangs viciously at the other two...the yellow white and teal wolf, and the pink and green reptile. She didn't want to fight them, but if they attacked her, she would have no choice. She said to Weirdwolf and Skullcruncher, "Leave me be if you know what's good for you!", and she leapt over them and bounded down the hall away from the group of other beast-formers, inner energon leaking from her wounds to the ground.

Once far away enough, and alone again, she relaxed her gait to a walk and transformed back into her robot mode. Her angry expression never left her face. She was furious at having to leave the battle behind, but though she loved to fight, she also hated to lose. If she had stayed, she would likely have become outnumbered and put offline, and she'd rather go down fighting Autobots than amongst her own kin. She continued on along the halls, until she came to the Medibay.

Medibay

Walking in and ignoring anyone here, she went straight for the CR chamber room and set one up for herself, then got in. She forced herself to relax inside the enclosed space, and let her mind drift. She soon found herself falling back into her other dominant emotion....depression. Visions of her sister, Saber, filled her thoughts, and all she could feel was guilt. Guilt for being so foolish, and guilt forever, for not being able to save her life.

'I'm sorry Saber. I'm so sorry....', she thought, before she fell asleep and allowed the machine to repair her body.

Alpha Hangar

HO-LY SCRAP thought Flash Freeze, This can't be true!. The scared seeker saluted and hid in the crowds. Nobody noticed that it was Flash Freeze who was making the room colder. "All hail Megatron..." whispered the nervous bot.

Alpha Hanger

After his initial shock at seeing the rumors were true and Megatron was among the functional once more, seeing the amount of Decepticons gathered in the hanger made sense. Megatron liked to go big or go solo, there was no middle ground.

Under normal circumstances, it meant an attack or raid on an Autobot stronghold. Since there weren’t any on Earth aside from the ships in orbit, that meant they were probably attacking the Guardian or Trion. And if Flamewar was involved, that meant Megaton held this in the highest of priorities.

Maybe we can actually end the war this time.

He looked from faceplate to faceplate. Each mech held a different expression, each as unique as the spark inhabiting their core. Hope, fear, awe, and excitement were a few he noticed the most of, and the a feeling of purpose filled the air in the hanger.

It was hard not to become swept up in the emotions filling the hanger, and for the first time, he felt a glimmer of hope that maybe things would be different this time, maybe they could take the Autobots by surprise and get through this with a minimal amount of injures.

But, like usual, his processor offered a piece of logic that destabilized his hope as much as a costly defeat. How were they going to take on and defeat a fully capable Autobot ship and crew with those assembled?

Not even Starscream is glitched enough to try that, so it must be Earth, but why? Knowing Megatron would explain his plan shortly, Thundercracker resigned himself to doing what he always did: fight his aft off for his fellow Decepticons. With any luck, his doubts would be unwarranted.

Movement and an irregular paint job near the entrance caught his optic. He couldn’t help but smile at the twist fate had played in this. Well, Redwing, looks like we may have a chance to interact after all.

Corridors - Alpha Hangar

Doomshot swiftly followed Hazard through the corridors and towards the nearest lift. From there the two made their way to the Alpha Hangar for the mission briefing. Hazard was glad his brother finally came along. He would hate to see what would happen if he didn't make it before the misdion began, especially since the mission itself was a mystery.

Alpha Hangar

Megatron watched as the various and sundry Decepticons who had been summoned for this particular mission arrived and took their assorted places within the shuttle. The variety of reactions was momentarily intriguing. What was important was that they knew he was back and in command. And for those that didn't, word would spread quickly.

Megatron grinned and nodded in appreciation at the greetings and renewed pledges of loyalty from the likes of Skywarp, Thundercracker and others.

"My fellow Decepticons...we came to this world for a reason. To add it to the collection of the Decepticon Empire and strip its energy riches bare so that the extinction that looms over our kind never comes to pass. The initial phases of my strategy have proceeded excellently, despite minor setbacks. And so now we move to advance to Phase Three. As such, I have scoured the databanks of this primitive planet and found a region that has been in varying states of war nearly since the time these pathetic little primates could stand upright. Even now, it is a hotspot that has the world's attention, making it a prime location to be exploited.

"Once we've landed and found a suitable base of operations, we will use our holomatter avatars as I direct to strike out and stoke these embers of conflict. Where fitting, I will send you directly into the field. Astrotrain--head to the cabin and launch this shuttle to these coordinates."

Shockwave's Laboratory

"Declarative: Breakdown's secondary fuel intake valve is faulty, have it replaced as we proceed," Shockwave ordered as mechanical equipment in the room lurched its way down and began systematically opening up each of the five Stunticons.

"Affirmative, Shockwave," Hook said, leaving his station to go fabricate the necessary part.

"Motormaster's plasma transfer coupling should be upgraded to the latest edition, also," Scrapper said.

Shockwave paused near the berth of the Stunticon Commander to assess Scrapper's recommendation.

"Agreed."

En Route to CR Bay

“Excellent,” Razorclaw responded to his aerial subordinate as he continued out of the cartography room and into the corridor beyond. Divebomb was not one who enjoyed the company of his fellow Predacons, but when it really mattered the flier performed his duties adequately. Divebomb was, after all, the smartest Predacon next to the lion-former, himself. That alone was something to value even if said mech was anti-social in nature.

Ah, Headstrong, one of the moderately intelligent ‘Cons of Razorclaw’s brood. Leave it to him to bring up something rather obvious. “Indeed we are, Headstrong,” the lion-former confirmed as they all rounded a corner on their way to the CR chambers. “If we happen to encounter some of the local fleshlings we will have to use mass-shifting in order to shrink down some. It won’t be as much as say Megatron shrinking down to the size of a tiny gun. Still, I’m hoping to avoid such a confrontation due to the drawbacks of mass-shifting. We’re going down there to get the ore and get out. We will simply stay in our natural sizes unless we have to do otherwise. At least we’ll have the organic coverings already in place on our bodies in case the need arises.”

After making their way through the ship, Razorclaw and his team arrived at one of the vessel's “CR bays” which housed a row of several CR chambers in a recessed area away from the main corridor. These particular CR units were separate from the ones located in the medical facility and were primarily used for tasks other than repairs such as alt mode changes and the application of synthetic coverings.

“All right, lets get this process underway,” Razorclaw stated plainly as he stepped up to the centralized control panel. After entering a series of commands into the console, the Predacon leader turned to look at his elite team. “Predacons, I’ve set these five CR chambers to administer the synthetic flesh. Simply step inside one and the cycle will begin immediately. There’s no time to waste!”

With that said, Razorclaw moved to the nearest CR chamber and quickly entered, leaning back against the upright berth within. The door then hissed shut and the CR unit filled with nanite rich fluid. The process had begun.

Headstrong turned to look at the other Predacons as Razorclaw entered the CR chamber and shrugged.

”I thought the synthetic flesh couldn’t handle mass shifting,” he grumbled annoyedly. Mostly because he felt embarrassed and somewhat confused as well. It was news to him. Mass shifting unleashed massive amounts of radiation that tended to be extremely harmful to organics of all kinds. Still, he hated admitting he was wrong much more than not actually knowing something.

And thus, he entered the CR chamber, muttering angrily, ”Guess Shockwave fixed that too.”

Motormaster hated this. Resented it. Loathed it. Being under the mercy of others didn’t sit well with him. Megatron and Shockwave had turned him and his team into lab rats. Or well, he couldn’t care less what they did with the others but he was conflicted with what this meant for him. Potentially this little project would give him so much more power. Power he could exploit to his own ends. On the other hand it was barely tested technology with no guarantee on working as they hoped. Devastator had hardly been what Hook and Scrapper had expected it to be, he was pretty sure of that. Slag, why not ask those two sons of glitches working on him? It wasn’t like they had shut his higher functions yet.

And what was that about an outdated plasma coupling?

”Why am I hearing of having a fragging outdated plasma coupling just now?” Motormaster rumbled, his optics looking for someone to intimidate. Which, of course was rather difficult with his body being subjected to some kind of a lockdown to allow Shockwave and the Constructicons to work on him.

”Slag that.” He sighed, being unable to even turn his head, ”At least tell me what to expect. How does Devastator work?”

Rampage bumped around behind the group as he followed into the room, and grumbled to himself about everything. He wasn't thinking about the complications, but rather about having to deal with the weird squishy fleshy stuff. Then again, he reminded himself of the shows on TV where wild animals were feared by humans, and found solace that he was just gonna be an even larger version of what they already were afraid of.

"Grr, fleshy stuff, but at least no weird red fluid," said Rampage as he walked over to his assigned chamber, "But it's like those shows on TV! Big cat goes ROAR and scares the puny humans! And we're even bigger!"

Rampage then stepped into the chamber, and the hatch began to close. "HMPH, SO CRAMPED-"

CR Chambers

Divebomb had dutifully followed after Razorclaw and Tantrum was not too far behind Headstrong and Rampage.

"If it must be, it must be," Divebomb sighed as he entered the chamber.

Tantrum simply slammed a fist into a wall before he, too, got into one of the chambers. He wasn't thrilled about this process, but they'd had worse jobs over the vorns.

Shockwave's Laboratory

”Why am I hearing of having a fragging outdated plasma coupling just now?” Motormaster barked.

Scrapper looked over at Shockwave, who appeared to be engrossed in his work. Then at Hook. Hook simply shrugged.

"Erm, well, it's a relatively minor component of our physiology. Easy to replace. Since we have you all splayed open, it's a good time to give you all a once over and see if anything needs to be replaced while we work."

”Slag that. At least tell me what to expect. How does Devastator work?”

This time Hook began.

"Devastator, ideally, is a melding of our team's best qualities--plus massive size and significant strength improvements. Psychologically, however, there are still issues to be worked out."

"Primarily, the new central processor is receiving too much feedback from the component parts," Scrapper continued. "We're, of course, working to remedy that."

"Please restrict any influence Wildrider may have on this thing," Dead End said, giving a humorless chuckle as components of his upper and lower torsos were being rewired or replaced altogether.

What a disaster that would be.

CR Chamber

Technikiller was there suspended in the CR fluid, in sleep-mode for her recovery. Damage wasn't really severe...nothing like being in a battle against the Autobots or anything, but the damage was enough that, if not tended to, could lead to worsening functionality and much energon loss. In her sleep, she didn't even truly find rest, and peace was something she had never truly experienced. Her mind was lost in visions and events of the past, of being with her lost sister Saber and struggling with her in the factories of Kaon for scraps of energon and poverish credits. It was only her idea to take her sister and join the Pit Fights that she believed had saved them from dying in a gutter. Megatron was her savior and her ultimate role model. His passion and strength gave her the will to keep on fighting, and to fight with all of her ferocity, the same as she had done when she had entered the gladiatorial arenas. What had made her exceedingly bitter and bloodthirsty for Autobot alloy and fuel though, and what seasoned her to be in pinnacle form was the tragedy that she couldn't get over....losing her sister to the Autobots. That had been during the initial revolution, just before Megatron rallied all of his followers into the Decepticon campaign for domination of Cybertron.

~Maintenance Complete~

A light flashed green on the electronic control panel of the CR chamber, and it began to drain and detach itself from it's occupant. The powerfully built femcon came out of her temporary stasis as her optics flashed neon red and she raised her head from it's previously slumped position. The door hissed open, and she regained her bodily functions and stepped out of the machine. Flicking her long blade tipped tail to and fro, she made her way out of the room and back into the corridors, heading for the energon bar.

'I hunger.', she thought to herself simply as she went along, minding her own business as her clawed feet gently clacked along with each foot fall.

The Bar

The tall beastformer entered through the opening doors of the bar. She growled under her breath, her optics scanning over the large room's occupants as she made her way to the counter, her tail swaying gently in her gait. Making it to counter, she hissed to the bartender, "I'll take some nightmare fuel. Make it a tall one, on the rocks." She waited for her drink, the bartender nodding. She paid for it when he returned and she took her drink and located a dark corner of the room in which to sit at and observe the others. Sitting down, she took a big swig of her beverage and remained silent as she studied the room's occupants, locating a lime green faced mech who seemed interesting. She watched him with interest.
