”Speaking of sensors, unless mine are glitchin', it looks like they're cookin' themselves in there. Maybe their last stand will wind up being Terrorcon food, heh heh."

”Certainly looks like they are doing the cooking, hehe.” Apeface chuckled at Snapdragon’s comment.

”Not that we should let Hun-Gurrr and his boys know just yet. I feel like… having fun of our own for a while, right?” He added, cracking his knuckles and cocking his head from side to side. ”We just let them steam a little first. Weaken them.”

Apeface’s visor began glowing with sadistic anticipation, ”As fun as beating these three to pulp is going to be, I wouldn’t take unnecessary chances with them. They are all dangerous. More so than most Autobots.”

”But so are we.”

[Quarantine - Shipping Container]

All three of the Monsterbots lay completely flat, untensed, their living flamethrowers having ceased spewing flame. The edges of the container had turned a bright red from the intense heat, and it was certainly boiling weather inside. The remnants of the flames licked at their chassis. Repugnus’s optics offlined, and his servos loosened up. His vitals started slowing down. To an outsider, it might’ve appeared that he and his comrades had just set themselves on fire and headed off on their way to the afterspark. Some kind of triple suicide.

But that’s what he wanted them to think.

Opening the bay doors and deactivating the shield, Scourge launched himself out of the massive Worldburner and headed for his predetermined set of coordinates.

Cyclonus, on the other hand, approached the immense area where Scorponok's spacebridge technology was housed. Various technicians bowed as the Vice Commander approached. His slight nod sent them scurrying back to their assignments.

>>"In position,"<< he transmitted to Scorponok.

“Did Cutthroat punch eloquence into you? I was going to say something like that but, generous gentlemech that I am, I thought I’d leave the speech to you.”

Icepick grinned as Wildfly had elbowed him.

"A bit, maybe. More our extended stay in Garrus. I had plenty of time to read and play 'Matrix'. Gave me a better perspective on the universe if anything was going to."

”Certainly looks like they are doing the cooking, hehe. Not that we should let Hun-Gurrr and his boys know just yet. I feel like… having fun of our own for a while, right? We just let them steam a little first. Weaken them.”

Snapdragon held up his hands in mock-innocence.

"I certainly wasn't gonna tell Hungrr. These fools are ours."

”As fun as beating these three to pulp is going to be, I wouldn’t take unnecessary chances with them. They are all dangerous. More so than most Autobots. But so are we.”

"'Zactly right, heh," Snapdragon said, looking at the overheated box. "None of this makes sense. They're either gonna go out in a blaze of glory or they already offed themselves."

Snapdragon then proceeded to transform into his dragon mode.

"Either way, I've got some extra heat for 'em," he said, before launching a stream of plasma-infused flame at the container.

”In position."

>>”Excellent.”<< Scorponok transmitted back to Cyclonus while running necessary calculations for the space bridge. The Semper Tyrannis was an enormous ship, roughly 3 miles long - its hangar alone was longer than two Nimitz-class aircraft carriers put in a row. That hardly meant a safe return for anyone exceeding the safe approaching speeds through the open space bridge. >>”Sending you the necessary vector calculations for safe return in vehicle mode. It would be quite disappointing after all the trouble we have been through to let Megatron fly into a hangar wall three times the speed of sound.”<<

Having checked his calculations, Scorponok turned away from the bridge’s main viewscreen and headed out towards the hangar himself, transmitting Cyclonus the final authorization on the move. >>”Proceed.”<<

As he approached the bar, Wildfly nodded slowly, riffling through his memories pertaining to “Matrix”. Not one of his favourites. He blamed Bristleback for that, but he had to blame himself for playing it with Bristleback. Wildfly knew how his team-mate got when he was losing: a series of grumbles at first, which led to an escalating barrage of insults, then crazy accusations bellowed at Wildfly for being not only a pile of rusted nuts covered in waste, but also a cheater—a pathetic trickster who bent the rules to gain the upper hand when victory was slipping away. Drama queen.

Proximity of their cell blocks made Bristleback, out of all the Monstercons, Wildfly’s most frequent opponent, and by golly, didn’t retrospect paint a vivid image of how much of a mistake that was? Instead of fending it off, Wildfly should’ve let his boredom have had its complete way with him. It’d already taken his common sense, given how often he asked Bristleback if he was interested in a game.

Oh, and to set the record straight, Wildfly had only cheated once. Or maybe twice. Three times? His memory was murky there.

He grunted. “Probably a good thing you and I didn’t play much.”

Icepick wouldn’t remember. He was excellent at “Matrix”. Wildfly was awful at “Matrix”. It was easy to forget how badly—and how quickly—Icepick beat him. Routine win after routine win.

“Since we’re on this topic...” Wildfly pointed at Icepick then Slog. “Which one of you is better at that game?”

Bludgeon stopped as he received Reflector's communique. Before he answered he turned his attention to Nightbird. "Go find Bomb Burst and keep him from assassinating anyone and that he makes it to the med bay. I don't have faith in his abilities to find his way anywhere right now."

*

Nightbird nodded, said nothing, but melted away into the shadows to go find Bomb Burst.

*

Once he knew Nightbird was gone he changed course and headed for the location indicated. >>"Of course. I am on my way."<< He replied to Reflector.

Checking his location, he wasn't far from the War Room, so with haste he made his way there.

War Room--Exterior

>>"Of course. I am on my way,"<< Bludgeon efficiently commed back to the Surveillance Specialist.

Already having been en route, Reflector arrived at the appointed location in short order. Prepping the war room to hold the latest meeting of the Conclave would take top precedence in his schedule for the time being. Even so, he was fortunate that his work could be divided.

Reflector could see that there was another mech within his immediate vicinity, a simple scan revealing it to be Bludgeon. He moved to round the corner and intercept.

"Commander," Reflector said, greeting the formidable warrior and Master of Metallikato respectfully. "Lord Scorponok has tasked me with preparing the war room for a meeting of the Conclave. As one of the most capable warriors aboard this vessel, I must therefore task you with the security of said meeting. Once Megatron is within that room, these exterior corridors must be cordoned off and accessible by no one."

Alpha Hangar

>>”Sending you the necessary vector calculations for safe return in vehicle mode. It would be quite disappointing after all the trouble we have been through to let Megatron fly into a hangar wall three times the speed of sound.”<<

>>"Exceedingly disappointing,"<< Cyclonus agreed as he transmitted the calculations to the team of technicians that were monitoring the spacebridge. They then relayed the same calculations to the incoming Decepticons that were in the process of trnasporting their comrades in arms. Though it was an operation well within their collective technical skill, it was still one that required a degree of delicacy. The lead technician then signaled when they were ready to receive the incoming vessels.

>>”Proceed,”<< Scorponok then commanded. Cyclonus nodded at the lead technician and the alpha hangar steadily became abuzz with the hum of activated technology. The spacebridge's intense expenditure of energy vibrated the floor. The massive technology buzzed and crackled with energy as the first of the triorian vessels blasted through the spacebridge and into the hangar.

Icepick exchanged a friendly glance and a grin with their team leader before offering him a polite bow.

Bludgeon wasn't sure exactly how to take Reflector's rather complimentary tone. He was just not used to it, but decided that the smaller 'Con meant nothing snarky of it.

But security detail... If it were any other meeting besides the Conclave, he would likely find the detail insulting. A mech of his abilities playing security guard.... But for Megatron, that was a different story. That was an duty of honor. And honor was everything to Bludgeon.

"Of course, it is my honor, Reflector." He responded. "Megatron and the Conclave will have no interruptions at all."

>>"Skullgrin, Carnivac, Submarauder, report to the corridor outside the war room."<< He commed to his troops.

One did not get to witness history in the making all that often. Today though, Blitzwing was pretty certain he was in that position. From the moment of a whirling maelstrom through space and time appearing before them and pulling them into a tunnel through transwarp - to the moment they entered into a vast hangar decorated with Decepticon symbolism. Yeah. He was pretty sure this was something big. No nausea. An instant transportation obviously over a great distance. Yeah. Pretty big.

Blitzwing transformed in mid-movement, skidding for a hundred feet or so before he came to a halt while Astrotrain and Octane landed in their alternative modes in far more controlled manner. Taking a look around his surroundings, Blitzwing decided there was little protection he could provide to Megatron and his comrades now. They were surrounded. He could survey hundreds of Cybertronians with Decepticon symbols on their chests waiting for their next move. It was always somewhat an unnerving feeling. A feeling he had had to own up ages ago. And truth to be told, there was no reason to be alert, wasn’t there?

Nay. Unless of course the intimidating black and gold giant with massive claws instead of hands standing before them along with his purple - pretty ominous looking crony, had decided it was time to shake up the Decepticon leadership hierarchy. Quite unlikely really. And well. There was little he could do if it was so. Yeah. Better leave it to Megatron to do the talking. Or shooting. Or whatever.

Sixshot’s star fighter alt mode emerged through the space bridge and into the hangar, having been caught up in the strange vortex when he had followed Astrotrain and his triple-changing brethren out of the Earth’s atmosphere just moments ago. He swiftly transformed into his winged wolf form and landed on the floor, bracing himself with all four clawed limbs as he skidded to a halt not far from where Blitzwing had settled. Astrotrain and Octane were not far away, either, still in their respective aerial alternate modes.

The STAG then returned to his robot mode and glanced around the massive hangar bay where hundreds of Decepticons stood surrounding the new arrivals. Many of those ‘Cons flinched more than just a little bit when they saw Sixshot in all his phase sixer glory. He wasn’t sure what ship he was on at first, but then the sixchanger noticed the unmistakable gargantuan shape of Lord Scorponok, who had not flinched, standing in front of all the others. It was very clear that he was now aboard the infamous Semper Tyrannis.

“Well, well. This just got a whole lot more interesting,” Sixshot muttered as he awaited whatever would happen next.

With a drink in each actuator, acquired from the bar, Wildfly said, “Several hundred vorns, hey? That’s not half bad. The last time I was even slightly competitive against Slog was when my best buddy Spree took up a position on my block—igniting a wondrous friendship between prisoner and guard where the fraghole tormented me and withheld my energon rations more often than I wished death on him.” Wildfly’s facial-plate darkened. “And I wished death on him a lot.” Then brightened. “Lucky for me, my wish was granted.”

Ah, if he could relive that moment again, killing Spree. A shock and a gasp and a squeal: he would. Again and again and again. And again.

But back to it.

Spree’s arrival on Wildfly’s cell block was some time ago. Icepick had nothing to worry about, with his tiny several hundred vorns. Compared to Wildfly’s losing streak—multiply those several hundred vorns by five and you had a fairly accurate equation to go from there—it was nuthin’.

How did he forget about losing to Slog for so long? Probably too occupied with losing to Icepick as well, he guessed.

Wildfly stood before Slog and Icepick, drinks held in his actuators. “These drinks look good.” He frowned at his team-mates, confusion marking his expression. “What did you two want?”

Chuckling, he offered them to Slog and Icepick. He looked forward to getting his own, on his return to the bar—perhaps two for the Pit of it. It wasn’t like celebrations of these proportions happened every day, and he knew the right decision lay in being an opportunist.

High-grade?

Yes, please.

Another?

Keep ‘em coming.

"Hah!" Icepick chortled, finishing his cylinder of semi-high-grade. "The staff of that prison were most certainly a mixed bag. Some of them held very close to the ideals they used to preach about on the vids back in the golden days. Some of them would make the DJD question their allegiance."

“These drinks look good. What did you two want?” Wildfly continued. Icepick waved him off, setting the extra drink on the countertop.

"No more for me, thanks. I'm starting to feel a bit, erm, surge-y as it is and I don't want to make it worse, heh. Besides, I'm curious to see what all this formal hoodoo is about, so I thinks me shall head to the hangar. Gentlemechs," Icepick said in parting to the other members of his team as he took his leave.

Astrotrain was the first to open his cargo bay doors, allowing the passengers within the make their exit.

Flamewar emerged with the others and saw that Scorponok and a veritable army was present to greet them. Well, not them. Him. Such a grand show of Decepticon pageantry was ever really for their Supreme Leader.

And he was still aboard his personal transport. In this instance, Octane had the honor.

Greeting Scorponok with a professional and quick bow, Flamewar found her way to Sixshot's side. She had no doubts that he had executed Megatron's commands as flawlessly as he ever did, so there was no reason to even broach the subject. From here they would surely move to a new phase of the war.

“Well, well. This just got a whole lot more interesting,” she caught Sixshot saying, bringing a grin to her own metallic features.

"Much," she agreed.

Megatron's time within Octane's passenger bay had not been idle. He had been watching with a fair degree of curiosity the technical readouts that had come with Scorponok's utilization of a more advanced form of spacebridge technology. He sent a confirmation to Soundwave that everything was in order and then moved to disembark. Octane complied immediately as well.

The Decepticon fueler's oversized bay doors slid open and a long ramp emerged after he had taxied into position. For a few moments there was nothing.

The silence then gave way to metal steps being taken and two small, crimson optics piercing the shadows of Octane's shadowy bay. Megatron then emerged into full view and a roar of a approval erupted from the hundreds of gathered warriors, this being the first time they had seen their emperor directly in many a vorn.

Megatron grinned in satisfaction as he descended the ramp. Little pleased him more than seeing the warriors of his vision return from a victorious campaign. He raised one hand in greeting and the roar grew louder.

His optics then settled on his 2nd fleet general Scorponok and his chosen coterie as he finished his descent. He came to a stop just a meter or so away and awaited the same gesture that he had received from generals, justices, senators and soldiers alike. All kneel before Megatron. All hail Megatron.

All.

As the crowd erupted in growing roar of approval for Megatron’s first return to Semper Tyrannis in more than a number of vorns – Scorponok stood there silent, observing, evaluating. Astrotrain. Blitzwing. Octane. The triorian guard. These three had accompanied Megatron to many campaigns. Their presence was not surprising. Nor was Flamewar’s. She was never too far away from Megatron. Only Sixshot’s appearance peaked Scorponok’s curiosity. Utilization of a phase sixer on a world that clearly hadn’t reached phase six was nothing but unorthodox. Whatever reasoning there was behind the STAG’s presence, Scorponok was certain he’d learn of it soon enough.

However, now was not time for questions. It would come later. This was about witnessing a historic moment of triumph before the Emperor of Destruction. Before he would show his respects though, there was one more thing to do. Scorponok stepped aside – revealing an equally hulking but chained and defeated form of Fortress Maximus. A yank from the chain he was holding in his claw forced the massive Autobot to move forwards before a swift kick from Scorponok to the back of the Autobot’s knee joint forced the mighty Autobot down on his knee. Theatrics for the masses. Primal but effective.

With that, Scorponok rose his voice to a roar of his own, ”ALL HAIL MEGATRON!” Which almost instantly caught on with the crowd – increasing the level of noise in the hangar tenfold. "ALL HAIL MEGATRON! ALL HAIL!"

Decepticons were conquerors. They did not kneel. But with every rule there is an exception. And to the Decepticons that was Megatron. And thus, the mighty victorious warlord knelt before the only Decepticon he respected enough to do so - with his warriors following his example, rocking the hangar with a rhythm of hundreds of metallic thuds as the Decepticons paid their respects to their leader, their founder, their guiding hand - Megatron.

No sooner had Icepick taken his leave than Wildfly had assumed sole custody of the drink that was supposed to be his team-mate’s. It wasn’t ethical to abandon it at the bar, without a guardian to provide the proper care that it needed. Somebody had to be the responsible mechanoid. Pleasurable moans vacated Wildfly’s oral cavity as he sipped it.

The burden of responsibility weighed heavily on him, but with the quantity of the high-grade already sloshing through his internal systems (Wildfly, an expert exploiter of opportunities, had drained three servings of the good stuff before his team-mates had finished their first), that weight was lifting. The rules of gravity he usually abided by weren’t currently in full operation and Wildfly, growing lighter and lighter, could feel himself swaying from side to side, the commencement of a glorious state he hadn’t entered in many millennia slowly coming on.

“Kicking in now, is it?” He glanced at the drink. “Better make this the last one.”

He sank what was left, let out a gigantic burp, and set the empty cylinder and Slog’s drink down on the countertop. Slog didn’t appear to want it and Wildfly couldn’t have it, teetering on the edge of being plastered as he was. A waste—but he couldn’t be hammered in front of his superiors, especially if they were present in the hangar where Icepick had headed off to. That much of his sense hadn’t drowned in the flood of the high-grade, at least.

“Right behind ya, Icepick,” he said.

Even though Icepick had left. He couldn’t hear Wildfly because he was, well, sort of gone. A bit more under the influence than he thought, was Wildfly.

He walked after his fellow Monstercon. The occasional misstep disturbed the rhythm of his tread.

Weapon: Railgun
[Security Center - Quarantine - Shipping Container]

There was some sort of external blast as Snapdragon’s plasma fire did nothing but further melt the walls of the container. Perfect. This is exactly what they needed. An indication that they had a chance for open contact with the ones outside. They were certainly going to be outmatched and outnumbered in every way possible, but they weren’t going down without a fight. Backing down when things got crazy wasn’t in Monsterbot knowhow.

Repugnus stared long and hard at the walls of the container, waiting for the moment when the heat from both the inside and the outside would melt the wall just enough.

He waited.

And he waited.

And once a tiny little hole started sputtering licks of flame, Repugnus slashed open the wall with his sharp, bladed arms.

“SKIYAAH!” Charred and melted, the wall of the container was immediately thrown forward onto the ground. Three hideous, monstrous beasts emerged from within, spewing fire from their heads and guns blazing. Repugnus leapt up and opened his maw wide, heading straight for Apeface’s delicious head. Grotusque laughed hysterically as he made it towards Snapdragon, dodging his plasma fire and spitting out some of his own. Doublecross perched himself on top of the container, breathing fire in both directions to his sides and letting loose the rust-ray cannons mounted on his back. The poor vehicons standing to the side immediately started seeing the brownish-red appear on their metal.

Snapdragon made a mistake by disabling the forcefield around the container. It only opened them up.

There it was. The moment both Apeface and Snapdragon had been waiting for. The Monsterbots broke out of their little container hideout and burst into action. Pitiful, energon deprived, slow-motion like action that in Repugnus’ case ended with a small shielded EMP detonator being tossed into his open maw before his jaw crumbled like tinfoil against a collision with a nightmare fuel powered right uppercut of the Decepticon powerhouse that was Apeface. Uppercut that sent the repellent Autobot monster flying back into the remains of the container he had came from just as the EMP charge went off and lit every opening and crack of his head with intense, somewhat blue hued white light.

”Get’ em boys! They are not even at one third of their power!” Apeface roared at those brave Decepticons whom had stood their ground as the Monstercons had revealed themselves. There had been no wasted movement by the Horrorcon. Every action he had taken against Repugnus was one of a consummate professional. Well. At least until he had evened the odds by taking Repugnus out of the equation.

”Ah hahahaha! Come Doublecross! Let’s see if you fare any better!” Apeface guffawed before firing his audio sensor shattering sonic-boomer at the two-headed Monsterbot without a warning of any kind.

OOC: This fight was never meant to be fair.

Megatron and Scorponok stood before one another both as conquerors, both as warlords, battlefield commanders and gladiators. But there was only one Emperor of Destruction. Several had tried to take that title from Megatron over the vorns, but ultimately it was Megatron who was still standing. So it was, so it shall be.

But before Scorponok moved to acknowledge that reality, he stepped aside and brought another into Megatron's field of vision. Not a conqueror. Rather, the conquered. The ultimate symbol of victory in the region: Fortress Maximus in chains. He, like many Autobots before him, was brought to his knees before the Slagmaker of Tarn and as it happened another roar of approval went up from the assembled warriors.

Scorponok then proceeded to lead the others in several roaring chants of "All Hail Megatron" before he then bent the knee. As he did, so did the veritable army of Decepticons that surrounded them.

Megatron's cold red optics surveyed the scene, relished its absoluteness and then motioned for the assembled warriors to rise.

"With this victory...we are now within arm's reach of putting this endless war forever in our past. With this victory, I am now within arm's reach of giving to all of you the peace I promised you on Cybertron so long ago. We have fought long and we have fought hard. The final spoils of that fight will soon...very soon...be ours. I come here, on this orn, to set into motion the final strategy that will secure our ultimate victory over the Autobots."

Megatron's optics then turned to Maximus.

"As you have seen, all will kneel to me," the Slagmaker said.

"Not willingly," Maximus spat, weakly.

Megatron smirked.

"Irrelevant.....for now," he said dismissively before turning his full attention to Scorponok. "The timing of your victory over Mamixus has set into motion the domino effect of what will be our final dominion over the Autobot oppressors. The revival of Cybertron is close at hand. Come, general. Let us make my final destiny of our world a reality."

Scorponok scoffed at yet another show of defiance by Fortress Maximus but made no move to punish the Autobot general over it. He’d have done the same had the roles been reversed. Nevertheless, the moment belonged to Megatron and it was his to decided how to deal with the defeated Autobot. Scorponok even allowed Megatron’s dismissive reply to Maximus rise an amused smirk of his own before acknowledging Megatron’s word through a simple nod. The hangar was hardly the right place for the discussion they were about to have over the future of the Decepticon Empire. Nor was any of it meant for the audio receptors of the likes of Fortress Maximus or even the Decepticons who had gathered in the hangar to pay respect to their leader. No, Megatron had called for a meeting between the Conclave – his most trusted advisors, friends and generals, and making them wait any longer would be waste of time.

”We are ready.” The gargantuan Decepticon general spoke out and with a gesture of his massive clawed arm, a swathe of Decepticons stepped aside to make way for him and Megatron as they set out to leave the hangar.

Weapon: Railgun
[Security Center - Quarantine]

The EMP had turned everything numb.

Repugnus couldn’t feel his fragging face. Or his slagging arms. How the frag had Apeface not taken any of the fire? How in the frag had the EMP not exploded midair from the fire? What the frag? This couldn’t be right, he was so sure that, at the very least, he could slice off that fragging monkeyhead’s fragging arm.

Heh. At least he could wiggle his feet. At least he had bought Doublecross enough time to rust the slag out of more than a dozen Vehicons or whatever other Decepticon cronies were standing by.

At least they did something. Better to go down trying.

Doublecross was setting fire to everything, and thankfully twice as fast as either of the other Monsterbots. Plasma fireballs were launched in every direction around the room. Once it hit, it’d spread - it was highly chemically active. He couldn’t pay attention to the two Horrorcons right now, Repug and Grotes were taking them on. Right?

Nope.

The dragon screeched out in pain as Doublecross’s audio receptors were overloaded.

WHAT THE FRAG WAS THAT?
I’M NOT SURE, BUT JUDGING BY WHO’S IN FRONT OF US, IT MIGHT BE THEM.

Disoriented and hurting, Doublecross fired somewhat blindly, breathing fire in whichever direction the heads turned from pain. His rust rays were just poking at random spots in the room now. PRIMUS, FRAG THIS NOISE!

Lesser Decepticons would have run at the sight.

The three Monsterbots emerging from the plasma-fed flames of their shipping container looked like something out of a Unicron-fueled nightmare.

But in this instance, the Horrorcons oft served that very same function.

Within seconds, the entire room was bathed in flame as nearly all of the combatants utilized some form of it in their weaponry. Other containers exploded or began to creak and melt from the intense heat. Anything flammable immediately erupted in even greater bursts of flame. And in the midst of it all, the Monsterbots and the Horrorcons fought to tear each other to shreds.

The Vehicons nearby stood no chance.

As Apeface made his own moves, Snapdragon reared back as Grotusque closed in on him. The flames seared against his metal skin but they only served to enrage him further. Monsterbots at their full might could have been an interesting challenge. Monsterbots at 1/3 of their normal power? It was slaughter. But Snapdragon was determined to enjoy this anyway.

"Using fire? On me?" Snapdragon guffawed. "Have some of mine!"

The robotic dragon opened his maw and spewed forth another pillar of flame so destructive that nearly everything in the room that wasn't already ablaze definitely felt its tinge now.

He then leapt into the air, snatching one of Grotusque's wings by his jaws and bringing him down to the ground. As Grotusque clawed, scratched and blasted in resistance, Snapdragon bore his jaws down into the Monsterbot's chest and began ripping.

Weapon: Retractable Mecha-Fangs
Repair Bay

It was like a chorus. Overwhelming signals had roused his processor from its dormant state. Optical sensors flaring to life and desperately trying to focus through the distorting waves of the liquid. Fists slamming against the sides of the tube, first in shock, then to steady himself by the violent current he had caused. A flashing light and alarm announcing his emergence. His rebirth. Creaking and groaning as the chamber rapidly drained. A hydralic hiss as the door opened.

One firm step forward. Hands clinging to the sides of the hatch as he stepped into the bay. Head turning even as he took a second, more unsteady step. Things were different. His weight, his balance. A metal hand clasping at his chest and the similiar, yet distinctly different Jetform he had emerged as.

Before Venomcoil had even finished processing the room around him, the two, curved fang-like blades extended from his right fore-arm. Optics honing on the slabs and trays, highlighting the tools. The door. Spinning wildly as he tried to place where he was; friendly or hostile.

It was like a word he could not remember. Like a name on the tip of his tongue. This place was familiar, yet he could not place it. Names on displays by the other active CR Chambers, glimpses of powered down faces. Decepticon. Somewhere deep in his core, he must have known the truth. Some subprocessor recognition of safety. His stance dropped, hand unfurling and raised blades falling to his side.

Turning briskly, room still desperately blaring with lights and whatever else to signal his awakening. Grasping the side of the display beside his CR Chamber, brightly pronouncing his name: Venomcoil. Ninety nine percent completion and a ream of technical specifications and repairs which just. Kept. Scrolling.

Drawing in the information of what was done to him like a sponge.
