Would they be scratch molds, or modifying previous Kreon figures?
Thanks!
I used all scratch parts for the picture, but the dinobot-parts are designed to fit on Kreon bodies.
I previously posted pictures of Slag and Snarl using humanoid bodies standing on all fours like the official Kreon Predacons' beast modes.
To get the four-legged look I made in this picture, you'd have to order my "quadraped" torso and use two sets of Kreon hips/legs. (Or order my legs/hips, and hope they work!)
Right now, the dino-backs plug into the quadraped torso using 4.9mm pegs and 3mm stems, but I could pretty easily just build the back and tail directly into the torsos. It would save plastic (and money).
At that point, though, they stop being building toys and just become little plastic dinobots.
As Botch once noted, Kreons are a constant compromise...in this case, the compromise would be between style and playability.
