DOTM Cyberverse Legends at Walmart!

Went to my local Walmart in Ocoee, FL today and went to check the toy section and found the series 1 Cyberverse legion (legends) figures. I know the Prime preview figure has been poping up, but I've not seen reports of these. Picked up Topspin, but they also had Crankcase, Bumblebee, Skidz, and Sideswipe.

What the Eff? Not that I'm complaining, but I need a minute to heal my wallet from all the wounds inflicted by HFTD, Generations, and RTS stuff before the movie stuff starts rolling out. This will not make my wife happy at all...lol

And... the jealousy sets in. Nice find. I would have bought them all, I'm thinking this is a fluke, but hopefully I'm wrong.

As much as I am looking forward to Cyberverse, I really, REALLY want to see the stuff we were supposed to get last fall.

Exactly. That, and we'll be seeing loads of "I CAN'T FIND THEM!" posts.

As would I, but unfortunately I don't get money in the bank until tomorrow. Guarantee you I will be back at Walmart tomorrow though.

Geez...they're really jumping the May 16th release date now. All these new figures are flying under our radars. This is good news, though. I was hoping we wouldn't get just one preview. The Star Wars movie figures always got like four or five preview toys.

However, I have a hard time convincing myself this is true. I hope this isn't a prank..."TRANS FIGURE $4.97" could very well be an older legends figure.

But if this does prove to be a universal early release, I hope we get an early taste of some other classes too. (Please release some commanders and deluxes!)

Guarantee you it isn't a prank. I tried taking a picture in the store of them on the racks, but my phone is just the free one that comes with the plan and couldn't figure out how to get the picture off the phone and onto my computer. Gladly carry a digital camera into the store tomorrow and take a picture on the racks though if you want me to. Going back to get the rest tomorrow.

Hopefully it is a wide release and not just a fluke at my Walmart as my Walmart hasn't gotten anything new in over a month. They were on the same pegs with the HFTD Legends figures though. They didn't get their own pegs.

the only thing that i like about the cyberverse figures is the packaging.. otherwise.. unless it's a small sized character in the movie.. i have no interest in them.

and hell.. my area has yet to see RTS wave 2 and have only seen kup and scourge once.

Oh...I didn't realize a fellow member found these! When I saw the article I thought it was from an external source. I'm hoping it isn't a fluke, either. I really want Topspin and Bumblebee. And I would assume they wouldn't get their own display since most places are having trouble ridding themselves of the old overstocked HFTD and Generations stuff to put RtS out. I do hope we get a few more DOTM figures that find their way into our hands early. They might as well start sneaking some in to get some early promotion. I mean, they had a Nickelodeon ad and the TF website already has DOTM stuff on it. The kids probably think all the DOTM stuff is out already.

Dude, you at least SAW Kup and Scourge. I did not, and have not since, until mine came in from overseas! I think I'm gonna try to talk my wife into running out to Wal-Mart tonight! :D

Oh boy, here we go. This about as entertaining as teasing a kitten with a laser pointer. Actually more so considering humans are supposed to be the more evolved species.
One store in one town makes one mistake, a mistake that can actually get stores fined, have their product yanked and cause people to lose their jobs no less, and the fandom goes ape-sh**!

Have fun wasting your over priced gasoline hunting for something that ain't there folks. :P

Ah come on, the hunt is half the fun. My wife and I were bored, so just after midnight, we load up, grab some coffee and hit up 2 Walmarts. We had a blast and all I got was a pack of Strawberry Super Sour straws.

Oh fantastic! So their going to be stealing shelf space away from Generations and RTS early! As if it wasn't slagging bad enough that there are still leftover ROTF toys littering the shelves, now they've gotta make way for the next oversized all encompassing movie line! :BANG_HEAD:

I really hope no one goes out looking for Legends figures early on account of one or two stores screwing up the street date.

These are Legends toys...they're not going to sell out (maybe ever) and the only accessory they come with is disappointment.

HAHA, now thats funny! These legend class figures and Shockwave (maybe Sentinel) are the only figures I'm getting out of this line. I just cannot get any repeated characters. Plus, I ordered all the RTS and Gen. stuff. The only thing I'm waiting on to come in is Grapple, Windcharger, and Warpath.

This may sound like a weird request, but can you scan the 'cyberverse' logo with as high resolution as possible and send it to me at jaynz dot com ? I would greatly appreciate it!

Same thing here. I'm sticking with the Cyberverse stuff for the low price point and because I don't need any more larger versions of the same characters. My movie shelf is packed, but at least with the Cyberverse stuff I can fit a lot on a new shelf without giving up one of my larger shelves.
