First of all, Oooooff........... OOffffff....... That was expensive for that duo. with taxes and shipping, the total was over 300 mother effing Canadian dollars... Oh the pain.... Was it worth it? Let's find out.

As usual, both figures comes with many accessories, notably a... handful of spare hands.

Image

Good Smile Company rarely make transforming figures. But here, they made an original, a very sexy fembot, Cyclon. She is very beautiful with perfect proportions. Only her wheels kibble give away her transforming nature.

I never watched the Fates series and I never will. I want to keep myself sane by avoiding all those confusing timelines. The characters and doujins are sweet though. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Anyway, this Jeanne is super nice looking but is extremely fiddly to pose because things keep popping off all the time. Just that basic pose was hard to do even with the stand.

Image

Cyclon is surprisingly small, or Jeanne is big for a Figma. Here's a comparison with a current Transformers deluxe.

Image

Cyclon is a charm to pose and even have may diecast parts in her. Unfortunately, her tiny stand is not that useful. She is compatible with a Figma stand so it's baffling one is not included with her for the overall price. I still managed to balance her though. Her hands are easy to change like a Figma.

Once I got the hang of it, Jeanne is not too bad to pose. The hands and faces are easily changeable. I had to super glue her right foot armor piece though. Plus her kneecaps armor plates pop off too easily.

Image

Really unfortunate that Cyclon's face have a blemish. But if I imagine that defect to be a "beauty mole", it's all right. I would have liked some spare faces with different expressions though.

Image

Jeanne's faces are amazing and ALL of her painted details are insanely detailed and precise.

Image

With a pair of special "double hands" and that face, she can pray.

Image

Cyclon can do the "Kali Blades Dance" with her swords.

Image

Jeanne come with a welding torch and she can do some maintenance on Cyclon.

Image

Image

Time for Cyclon to transform! Right from the start, we see some awesome sculpted details that are only visible when transforming.

Image

Inside her thighs, there's some nice diecast metal "bones".

Image

The transformation is pretty simple. The swords partform into the handlebars. The resulting bike is pretty damn sweet.

Image

Image

Image

The bike become really tiny. That's one smol bike. Even at Figma scale.

Image

However, that bike is 100% compatible with any and all Figma! Jeanne is a perfect fit. Too bad her neck joint is limited so she can't look straight forward when riding the bike.

Image

Image

One thing I like with Figma is that they know how to make a pretty seamless butt. No "turtle shell" here.

Image

Image

This duo will acompany:

Heavy Metal Batman,

Image

and the G.I. Joe Classified Baroness with Cobra Coil.

Image

....Jeanne and Cyclon will feel damn tiny compared to them!

Image

So overall, I think the price is perfectly right for Cyclon, but I grossly overpaid for Jeanne. Overall, it's still a pretty fine set and I don't regret getting these girls. :)

Just kidding, though I did think Cyclone's bike mode would be bigger than that. I have the two bikes from Fate and they're both huge so I thought she'd be more like that and less like a moped.

Those bikes are more in proportion. The ones from Batman Heavy Metal and Baroness Cobra Coil are ginormous.

But that Cyclon.... God is she tiny... It doesn't look good with Jeanne. Make me regret buying that Figma. Especially at around 150$can overall.

Excellent post and pics. Since you think Jeanne is too big for Cyclion, have you tried other scale figures just to see what they looked like? Maybe something in the 3.75 scale or even another smaller transformer might work?

I've had my eye on Cyclion for a bit, but didn't bite the bullet yet. I'm think I'm just looking for something to push me over the edge into picking her up.

It was advertised that a Figma was compatible. Looks like that was a lie. #-o
Maybe a classic Joe would do the trick?

I highly recommend Cyclion though. Well worth the money and she will go well with Nicee.

As for the Figma Jeanne... Ugh... I overpaid for that thing.
