I'm guessing this was done as either a temporary thing so as to have the toys on the Wiki in some form until we know either way, OR Cloud is indeed just another alternate universe take on the G1 characters.Wolfman Jake wrote:TFwiki.net has apparently slotted these toys in with the G1 pages for their respective characters. Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Andrew Hall, formerly of eHOBBY / Part One, said that for the first story they just used the Japanese Generations figures for the other characters that appeared in that first chapter.
I do believe whatever they have planned won't be the above other than Rodimus.

On the TakaraTomy Mall page for Optimus it says:ストーリーに基いた年間各サイト4アイテムの商品ラインナップを予定しているトランスフォーマーの新シリーズにご期待下さい。
Which Google Translates to:Please look forward to the new series of Transformers that are planning to product line-up of four items each year site based on the story.
Bing gives us:Please look forward to the new series of transformers are planned based on the story over the years each site 4 items of products.
So we have Rodimus, but I wonder what the other 5 (thinking Optimus & Megs are considered 1 & 2 of the will be?

Everyone but Rodimus is supposed to be their recently released TakaraTomy Generations figure. Jazz is in another chapter and it's the TakaraTomy version of the FoC figure.

Based on Prime and Megs (as well as e-HOBBY's reputation), I'd imagine the Cloud line will be all redecos of whatever molds it winds up having.GuyIncognito wrote:Aside from Rodimus, are the others going to be repaints, or just re-releases?

That makes sense. But will they be repainted to represent different characters (like turning the Springer mold into Rodimus) or will they simply be repaints of the same character (like giving FOC Jazz a new paint job and calling it "Cloud Jazz" instead of "FOC Jazz")?
