I'm not exactly happy that we're getting Goldbug from the Cliffjumper mold. I personally would have preferred Hot Rod, but if that wasn't an option then I think Runamuck/Runabout would have been better. I think that mold would have been a good choice cause it's a pretty good middle ground between G1 Goldbug and SG Goldbug. Especially since they could remold the faux chest if they wanted to make it accurate

This is the teaser for the fifth and final figure on SG Goldbug's Pulse page and that sure doesn't look like Jetfire. That's Sideswipe's silhouette.

It's a placeholder, all of the figures had that same silhouette before their respective reveals

I can make a copy of that head & use it for a G1 toy accurate version of Netflix Bumblebee. I hate cartoon Bumblebee's stupid human face.

I like some of the changes the G1 cartoon made but I also hate some. Changing Bumblebee's face was completely unnecessary IMO. It definitely wasn't an improvement. He went from a badass little robot to the goofy/annoying kid in school you just want to punch.

The colors are nice, but could they have gotten a little more creative and given him different weapons? Interesting that they didn’t go with the slightly modified Bumblebee mold instead of the Cliffjumper mold.

They wouldn't have been allowed as VW have strict rules against what their licence can be used for. Bee being a good guy gets a pass.

Not to mention that the cannon weapons are most likely gangmolded to the main figure.

And in the meantime, the "Centurion Drone" Selects figure with it's cool weapon/accessory pack was restocked, but sold out in LESS than an hour on Pulse, so nobody could buy it.

My minions have had that figure's web page bookmarked on Pulse for over six months, checking it every morning. It has never been listed as anything but "sold out". If it WAS restocked the other day (which I doubt), then the scalpers and their auto-buy bots with cycling accounts cleaned out the entire stock in just a few minutes, before any honest customers could even be made aware.

Just so the scalpers can flip them on Ebay for hyper-inflated prices. PULSE is seriously dropping the ball with some figures - but I bet this SG "Bugbite" gets over-produced, and will remain in stock for several years.

What a bummer! I've been wanting to get that thing, I missed out the first time around

We ALL did. Only a small fraction of a percentage of honest buyers got the Centurion Drone/Accessory pack. The rest were all taken by the scalpers so they could charge $200 for them - and Hasbro/Pulse is certainly at fault for NOT producing enough to meet customer demand. BOO!

I think the characterization in the cartoon contributed to that much more than the visual design of his face.

I got lucky then. Cause I got mine for around $28 bucks shipped. Its a pretty good accessory pack.

Also for those that want to get it, watch. out for the teeny tiny minuscule Prime. He's incredibly losable. And Tiny Megs in gun mode is fantastic.

I wish we could all enjoy them. Sadly, it seems as if Hasbro only manufactured a few hundred of these, and are currently engaged in a bizarre refusal to provide any more...

Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to twitter user, @transformerscca, we've learned that the first of the Shattered Glass figures, Deluxe Class Blurr, has touched down at worldwide retail!

The figure was sighted on the shelves at EBGames Australia/Zing Pop Culture in Chermside QLD, selling for $45 AUS.



The included photo was supplied to the twitter account by Nick, a member of the TCCA Facebook group.

The figure is a redeco of Studio Series 86 Deluxe Class Blurr with a new head.

Other figures in the Shattered Glass subline inude Voyager Class Megatron and Shattered Glass Goldbug, who was revealed this past Tuesday.

Will you be racing to get this version of Blurr?

Interesting, I had written off this line due to it's national exclusivity, but if it's released at EB Games in my country, maybe I'll consider the toys more.

Sorry, don’t know enough about the SG universe and figured they were all recolors of mainline versions.

Didn’t think the Centurion Drone pack was ever going to restock, figured it was a limited time deal. I probably should watch Pulse for that if it ever comes back.

To be fair, for Hasbro's version they are just recolors, with some slight retooling if they're lucky so you're not unjustified in thinking that since this is arguably the first time Shattered Glass has had any wide spread acknowledgement outside of just Cons and unfinished ideas for cancelled shows

Oh, man, I hope so too!

I think it's very likely - eventually. Either as SG Cracker or 'G2' Cracker.

I'm hoping for a yellow and black Dirge since his design is pretty cool and he's never had a figure before.
