Now of course back in 1984/85 the downside was that the writers working for Hasbro/Marvel/Sunbow/Claster would have to explain it later; which back in the 84/85 it might have been unknown to the writers when or if they would have another episode to explain and/or if the series would be picked up for a second season.

True, but I'm not trying to re-write the dialog.
Just presenting a dirrereft defintion to that which was used.
