I don't just add people, you have to have met me.

I have a Facebook, but I don't use it, and I don't trust it. So, I won't be adding anyone. It's nothing personal, I'm not out to be prickish about it, I just don't use the account, so it would be pointless to friend people.

Before anyone asks "Why do you have one?" Two words: Girlfriend, family. You'll do stupid stuff for family, and the people you love.*

Well in my experience I have met a lot of good people from it.I also got to meet some of them in person at Botcon after years of talking to them online

Don't just add anybody to have more number of friends in your facebook.
Add them if they really are your friends.

Just make sure to message me, letting me know that you're from the board so I don't ignore you outright.

Facebook is for people I acctually know, not random people from the internet (no offense).

Typically I'm with you on that one, but everyone's just happened to catch me at a good time... or a bad time... either way it's a time where I'm okay friending random strangers.

i love to play games on facebook specially farm ville and mobo wars are my favorite ones....................

I tend to go with the theory that your FB friends should be people you know & are friends/family with. But then, I joined a group of Indiana TF Collectors that a guy started & added a few friends from there because none of my friends are big into TF's like I am, so it's fun to know there are others out there sometimes.

I know a few people of fan pages and they have a seperate page for these types of things, it helps get to know other fans, and if they become close friends then they add them to their real page.

I Only friend people I have either met, or know so closely that it's like Iv'e met them. I think out of like, all of my friends, only two of them I met through the internet, and not in person. I know them quite personally now. It's like Iv'e met them, and I even skyped with one. I don't have a skype, used my friend's. Now, if it's PSN on the other hand, if your cool, and a good gamer, i'll friend ya, and even video chat with you. I met this really wierd dude once who was killer at WFC, he wore goggles that had a nuke sign on each lens. He looked like he walked right out of an anime...
Anyhow, yeah. Facebook. I don't go on there alot.
